John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs! Five star dining for all of you who love a delicious hot dog.

They were even able to deliver on a tightly timed order of 50+ hot dogs for our cast during a short break between shows - very impressive stuff! Attendees were thrilled with this option - we can't wait to have them back!

Their menu is pretty inviting with the vibrancy of the photos and the originality of the items. Their menu is comprised of everything hot dogs and fries. From hot dogs topped with crushed hot cheetos to fries topped with carne asada. They even had a hot dog topped with a fried egg. You walk up and are met with a smile. They are more than happy to answer questions and accommodate as much as they can. They truly want you to come back and if I ever see this truck again, I would be hard pressed NOT to come back.

My my! Am I lucky this place set up shop at the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock. After deciding…read moreon fair food, I felt the cravings of a hit dog and some fries; then I noticed a truck serving both... But with some flavor and style. Many of the choices carry a street-style Mex-American flavor along with some basics. For example they had some with hot Cheetos and sone with elotes, which is corn kernels off the cob. They say they are loaded hot dogs and yeah they are. I decided on the Messy Dog with onions, jalapeño, jack cheese, house sauce and carne asada, wow. As for fries, I played it safe with Chili Cheese Fries. This one came with nacho cheese so that was a plus for me. The Messy Dog was great, in fact I was offered a fork and I said yes, and luckily I made a good decision there, This came loaded, just as the picture showed, coming as advertised. When you see this thing, you may ask yourself, "Where is the hot dog?" It is there buried underneath by all the sauces, cheese and carne asada. By the time the hot dog shows up it was still hot and had a good crunch and texture to it, making it chewable and mouth-watery for me. The carne asada was chopped into tiny bits and brought another flavor and the onions had the right caramelization to back up the load, wonderful recommendation. The Chili Cheese Fries were seasoned well and maintained its crunch for some time. nacho cheese was melted and creamy enough to keep me from wanting to waste the boat. TBF, I was at a fair when I tried this place, so the prices were high, but fortunately there was a large amount of food served therefore it didn't come off as a waste of money ( around $15 to $20 , however the dogs and fries are sold separately, no combos or anything). Being in a fair it was the kind of environment expected at a county fair: Benches, canopies, hot weather and family entertainment. Yeah, I would try this place again wherever I may find them, Krèpe Dog. Loaded Dogs and Fries. Check me in.
