Would love to go back to this place very romantic and definitely a destination for a special occasion/wedding. They have a convenient shuttle bus that comes by about every hour. There's no way that you can reasonably walk or ride a bike down to the town center unless you're into steep hills. Usually, there's no issue with parking downtown. There was a parade in the town center, and we were able to find parking along the street fairly easily. There's also some parking lot that are on the honor system for about $10.

The resort has a great game room housing both a pool table and ping pong table. It's the perfect place to bring your family. Donna, the innkeeper, understands how to manage this expansive property. It has a wonderful cooked to order breakfast and Friday night Lobster Dinner. Dan, the owner is very hands on working the property from dawn to dusk. We can't wait to come back!

Dan and Roseana, and really the whole staff, were so welcoming, warm, and accommodating to our every need. No request went unanswered. If you go you must stay for the weekend, or at least until Friday if you're staying during the week. Their lobster bake by the water is so enjoyable; it's a true Maine experience. In fact, it's more than that. It's a Tarry A While experience. You can't get that kind of community with delicious food anywhere else in Maine. I will definitely be going back and will always ask friends and family to come with me!

There was an easy and wonderful set up for coffee and the house toiletries were the nicest I have ever experienced at a hotel! Slept super well. In the morning there was tons of hot water in the shower and a bag of overnight oats and fruit left on our door for breakfast. It was a beautiful morning, so we took our breakfast outside to our lovely "front porch" and noticed the bicycles available for guests and the heated pool!

We listened to live piano to relax us during a raining and "trafficy" day driving from down east and Acadia national park. Just one mile down the road from Walker's point (The Bush compound) I was really hoping that we might run into 'W' and Mrs. but to no avail. The room was well appointed and a corner room with beautiful views of the chanel. Picture commercial lobster boats moored at bouys as the tides rise and fall with the hours going by. A rainy day to start lead to clear skies and a beautiful bluebird sky with white puffy clouds to accent. Breakfast buffet included in the stay along with free bikes to use as guest made our stay complete. I only wish we had more time to spend here at the resort! Huge thanks for making our stay complete and fabulous!! Cheers to you all. Oh, I almost forgot, they have a shuttle that runs out to dock square every half hour. What a blessing.

The customer service, cleanliness, attentiveness and responsiveness to our needs and requests was top notch! The rooms were clean and spacious, the food was excellent, and the over-all atmosphere was warm and inviting. There were activities on site for the kids, they played soccer in the open area, as well as sat by the fire pits in the evenings. There was a floating sauna, lobster boat, kayaks, and bikes that could be used around the area. Shuttle service was also offered to take people into town and back which was a nice bonus. Housekeeping was great and can I say the towels were so soft! I can't say enough good things and would highly recommend this resort! Thank you to the Nonantum team for taking such great care of our group!
