    King waterfront room (5)

The hotel grounds are very pretty. The room was stayed in was newly furnished and immaculately clean. The view from our room and from the sunrise deck were really beautiful. We had no issues with our stay other than the continental breakfast. My husband and I were truly disappointed in the continental breakfast. It was an absolute joke. I understand that everyone is doing what they need to for COVID-19 rule compliance, but this was pitiful. We received a packaged mini muffin (which was disgusting), a mini apple, and a bottle orange juice per person in a brown paper bag. We ended up having to buy breakfast elsewhere because the breakfast was so ridiculously inadequate. They might as well not even include the breakfast because it truly is a waste of time and money for everyone.

Shrimp & corn chowder. Mostly potato not too much shrimp. Tasty though

Our stay was terrific, all inclusive water sports means you can go out on any boats or paddle boats from 8-8. We had breakfast, lunch and drinks. Service was less to be desired. Young staff looking clueless on what to do and waiting for direction from someone else. Understandable good summer help is hard to find and harder to train. Ricardo the bartender was great made some nice piña colada's. Resort has a great view and located in a very nice cove. Pool was a great ending after a long g kayaking around the bay. Would definitely return again.

We were blown away by the service and stunning views of the bay! It's a perfect spot for a family gathering, whether that be a reunion or, in our case, a wedding. We stayed for a few nights in October, and while a little chilly, we had a great time with friends and family. It's so special how the grounds of the resort really bring everyone together (from the play field, to the dining lodge, bar, and pool). The staff were also A+ going above and beyond to serve us. Just as an example, our son has a dairy allergy, so my wife asked at breakfast if there was almond milk...we later found out that someone from staff drove to the grocery store to buy a gallon just for us. We were truly spoiled all weekend long!

A wonderful getaway at a lovely, recently upgraded and remodeled resort with a "summer camp" vibe. We came by boat, having reserved a mooring just in front of the hotel, and were promptly met by a hotel launch that brought us to the dock. The plentiful staff are friendly and professional. The amenities are varied and fun - kayaks, sailboat rentals, playing fields, volleyball, lawn games, and of course the heated swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Our room was a good size with king bed and two comfy club chairs, and the bathroom was clean and updated. The dining on-campus (best way to describe the sprawling resort with numerous lodges and individual cabins) is at the Deck Bar & Grill which has ample outdoor seating for good weather as well as a cozy lodge-like indoor area with large stone fireplace if the weather turns chilly.

This place is a dreamland. After staying at so many different places,I can easily say that this has been the best! Very quiet, chill resort. If you need some relaxed and quiet time this is the place for you. Their salt water pool and complimentary kayaking is a huuuge plus! I will be back!

After checking in to the Linekin Booth Bay resort, I decided to check the associated restaurant for lunch. Obviously, when you're in Maine, you go for the lobster. I didn't want to do the legit whole lobster, so I went for the lobster roll. It was ok but honestly it wasn't filling at all. Thank goodness it came with baked chips or I would've been starving. The roll was standard bread roll. The food wasn't super warm either, which would've helped given how cold it was. We sat outdoors to keep ourselves COVID free as much as possible. To heat up, we requested coffee (which I was hoping would be on the house given we are part of the resort and coffee is available to us anyway. But no biggie) After this dining experience, we opted to not eat again at this spot for the rest of the trip. Price wise, probably standard. I paid $36 (lobsteroll, soda, and coffee). Quality wise, meh. Unless you're staying in the resort and there's no other place to go, I would try to look elsewhere.

    Musseles

The spot is amazing, great view. Was in the sun. Waitress was pretty attentive, had to go to the bar for a drink at one point. So the mussels were yummy. My complaint and its small, the bread for soaking juice up was subpar. Crusty warm bread is the usual. Not 4 slices of cold bread not cut through which is the norm for on table bread while you wait. Also my buddy got the sliders app. That consisted of 2 sliders. 3 in my mind would make better sense for the app. We moved down to sit at some addarondaks right on the water which was great. Go for the views and good drinks. I would get the mussels again but ask for better bread.

Perfection! We hiked 1.5 miles from town to this amazing view where we relaxed and enjoyed this beautiful place! I would recommend staying here but at least come for a bite and see what I mean. Andrea took great care of us! The food was fast and delicious! The beef tostadas were juicy and so yummy, the French fries came with truffle-ketchup and literally blew my mind. (And that's just the appetizers) My new favorite beer is the Thirsty Botanist brewed locally. It wouldn't have been the same with out the awesome music from Ben on his steel drums, he played all my favorite songs and made everything that much better!

    The view!

We love coming here for date nights! Amazing view! Wonderful staff and everything I've ever ordered off of the menu has been very good. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

We kayaks here and had a light lunch. The view is amazing. Fish taco is very fresh. Roasted duck and beet salad is also delicious.

Second time we visited, we both had the lobster roll with mayo. Again, a very generous portion topped with a large whole claw meat. What we especially liked was that it wasn't swimming in mayo, but just enough to lightly coat the meat so the true flavor shines through. A true Maine lobster roll and so reasonably priced! Staff is so friendly and you can tell they have a lot of pride in what they offer. It was like having a picnic with a nice view of the water and 1901 Footbridge. I was already in a foul mood, walking in here set me into straight sensory overload. It's a bar where they sing. I am unable to get inebriated enough to enjoy bars where they sing any longer. Call me miserable, maybe I suppose. In addition to the merry old fella belting it out on the mic, we had the joy of having some drunk guy in a large group behind us try and out sing him without a microphone. He even challenged the old guy singing to a form of a duel. Anyway I was so off, I cannot remember anything about my server at all. Nothing. I do remember almost screaming and running out. I sat there trying not to lose it while my wife had the time of her life. Every song made it worse, everyone else is singing, I am dying. When the guy took a break, guess what, dickhead from the crowd goes up and takes over. Shots helped at this point and the weed is kicking in well at this point. Now I'm hungry... My food was inedible and I'm pretty sure incomplete as well. The worst flatbread in the history of flatbreads. C's looked pretty good actually so I am sure her experience was quite different than mine. I hope to never return. '25 - extra

For $100 (cash or check only), you receive a 55-minute narrated boat tour, a bonafide Downeast feast (fish chowder, 1 lb. of steamers, 2 lobsters, corn on the cob, a baked potato, an onion, a hard-boiled egg, a large piece of blueberry cake & either coffee, tea, iced tea or water). You can purchase sodas ($2) or alcoholic beverages. We indulged in the light & tasty Cabbage Island Aide ($10), with Pinnacle blueberry vodka, pink lemonade & a splash of club soda garnished with Maine blueberries. Only cash is accepted for drinks and gift shop purchases. After finding a picnic table, either indoors or out, your server will take your drink order & bring your fish chowder. Shortly afterwards, the dinner bell will ring & you head down to the pit where the food is cooked to pick up your meal. We were also pleased that the two Moore brothers who have owned this family business for 38 years stopped by every table individually to ensure that all were having a good time. And at the end of the day, they stood on the dock waving as our boat left Cabbage Island. Such a gracious gesture! I'm looking forward to making this an annual event. While we enjoyed the food we ordered, our server was somewhat rushed, impatient with us, and clearly needed to turn the table FAST. This is a popular restaurant that does not take reservations, so we went early at 5:30 and had no trouble getting a table outside on the third floor deck. Our server arrived and asked for our drink order just as the menus were dropped, and we said we needed a minute. This was the first hint that she had no time for our nonsense! She did return a few minutes later to take our drink order and asked to place our appetizers. Drinks and apps came out lightning fast, clearly pre-made and sitting. The fried oyster appetizer was delicious. For dinner we tried the lobster risotto, which was much much better than I expected given the vibe of the restaurant. When it came time for dessert our waitress asked what we might want after reciting what they offered. We chatted for a moment among ourselves, which was apparently too long, and she huffed off saying she did not have time for this, and would return. Clearly they wanted the table, and for us to leave, so we did. I get it, Boothbay Harbor is busy and filled with tourists. Some of the restaurants (like this one, and their sister spot) don't even try hard with service. We've had some good as well as excellent dinner in this small town. There's no reason for such poor and rushed service. A shame as the food was pretty good. Don't expect to stay here more than 45 minutes or so for your dinner. Given our service experience, I think I'd be hard pressed to come back here.
