When I say I LOVE aurora crepes & peking duck I mean it. I've had pretty much half of the menu so…read morefar and I can't wait to eat everything. I can say I come at least once a week that's how good the food is. They're open 7 days a week and have the best customer service I've seen by far in Fairbanks. If you ever find yourself here or haven't tried them yet YOU MUST. I highly recommend their Duck Rice Bowl & their Beef Brisket rice bowl. They're my go to meals when I don't know what I'd like to try. 10/10 I love Aurora and I'm always so happy going in and leaving the restaurant.

Came here in a group of 4 for a light lunch and had a decent experience. The staff was really…read morefriendly although directly spoke mandarin to us the moment we walked in. We ended up ordering beef noodle soup and the duck crepe, which both were surprisingly better than I expected. However, my only issue with the dishes were the veggies used, which was far from any Asian veggies since they used raw lettuce and it was very undercooked and had a slight bitterness that somewhat ruined the dishes for me. In a way I think the dishes might have tasted better without it although I appreciate the effort to add in some veggies. For the beef noodle soup, the broth and the meat was good and the egg noodle went well with it. My friend ordered the ramen version, and it was literally instant ramen noodles (not worth in my opinion). While you're able to dine in they operate more like a take out spot as all the utensils and boxes are using take out and disposable containers. Overall, not a bad spot if you're craving some Asian food.

Chicken Curry Bowl *with egg fried rice* Not quite the saucy Japanese curry I was expecting, but still very tasty!

My family and I decided to try this restaurant because of its high ratings and the fact that it's…read morethe only Cuban spot in Fairbanks. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We made a reservation for a larger group, yet the table wasn't ready when we arrived, and we ended up waiting much longer than expected. For a place that requires reservations, this was frustrating right from the start. The food was just okay--not terrible, but definitely not worth the price. Given our background and familiarity with Latin cuisine, we expected much more in terms of flavor and authenticity, especially considering the high cost of the dishes. The live music, which we were looking forward to, started about 30 minutes late. To make matters worse, when one of the band members didn't show up, the owner asked a member of our family--who happens to be a musician--to step in and play. Not only did this put us in an awkward position, but there was no acknowledgment or discount offered for his time, even though we had other plans to get to. Parking is also inconvenient, with only street parking or paid lot options available. The restaurant itself is very small, which does create a somewhat intimate atmosphere, but it also feels cramped for larger groups. While the owner comes across as friendly, it also felt like there was a strong focus on maximizing profit. There are multiple additional fees listed in very small print at the bottom of the menu--something that should be much more transparent or reconsidered altogether. Service overall was slow, and again, the pricing does not match the quality or experience provided. At this point, I wouldn't personally recommend this place unless there are significant improvements--better service, more consistent food quality, fairer pricing, clearer fee transparency, and better management of their live music arrangements.
