Mushroom burger & diablo fries

This was not our first choice. But decided to try it out... got there before a bunch of people and didnt get our order till after them when we only ordered 2 burgers and diablo fries. Wait 30-40 minutes. And our food was not all that. Would i come here again? Most likely no. Id rather go to mcdonalds.

Lettuce wrap, double stack burger without tomato, or a bun and an egg added!
Charissa F.

I am gluten-free and nightshade free, so I ordered a double stack burger without tomatoes and no bun, on lettuce and added an egg and it was amazing!

Second visit to this place. Second time the order wasn't correct. The cashier didn't seem very happy to be there. They admitted they brought out the wrong burger but said it's the same price. That doesn't make the order right! Overall it tested good. Thats the only positive thing I have to say. There won't be a third time Burger Zone.

Heart Attack Burger I visit the Burger Zone in Fairbanks. The food that I ordered on my list was delicious and well done. The food was to go, and it was given a pleasant amount of time. I would recommend the place to anyone who is interested in tasting their food. Variety of choices. 4/4 Stars in tasty, delicious, and temperatures.

Thick, juicy, & fresh!
Kawahna M.

It is located inside a convenience store. Sometimes the food places are in the most unassuming spots. There were several burgers that I wanted to try but I was able to choose a winner. I decided to try the Heart Attack. It consisted of a beef patty, sliced brisket, bacon, cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, tomato, and mayonnaise. The burger was fresh, flavorful, and juicy. I think the brisket was the best part. It was extremely tender. The french fries were hot and fresh. They came with a cheese diablo sauce. The sauce was not spicy and I also put it on my burger. If you want a good burger, definitely check them out.

Food was alright. Hot and cooked to order. Nothing that was amazing wasn't bad but wasn't any better than a fast food joint.

The entire meal lacked overall flavor & the brisket was 99% fat. The mac n cheese was not inherently bad, it just wasn't very flavorful & the brisket was abhorrent. The second time I ordered the pulled pork nachos & again, was unfortunately unimpressed. The pulled pork also contained barely any meat, mostly fat, & the rest of the nachos were just... nothing special. Granted Fairbanks is not known for its BBQ, to say this place serves "Authentic BBQ" is quite laughable... Burger King has more flavor & better food. Not to mention the prices are absurd for the amount of food you get, especially when 99% of the "meat" is just unseasoned fat. Overall, I would say this is half decent bar food that might hit the spot if you're highly intoxicated & starving, but unless you're a beer away from sleeping in the bathroom... I'd recommend passing on this place.

I ended up getting some tacos and my husband got a sandwich. Both of them had really good flavor. Could tell that a lot of ingredients are made in house. Though I didn't end up buying any I did see that they had an entire Bakery case with a bunch of gluten-free baked goods like cheesecake, custard cake, and some other stuff. We really enjoyed the glass roof as the snow was just starting to melt. It was kind of cool like we were in a half melted igloo. I would definitely put it on my list if you are gluten-free.

Landed on the BLT with salmon. The BLT actually came with a croissant as the bread, so it made it very easy to eat. Lots of bacon and the salmon went really well with the sandwich. Fries here are great too! Staff here are great! Since we came here near closing time, they actually offered us some of their leftover soup since it would have been tossed out. Definitely hate wasting food, so that offer was accepted very quickly. I didn't realize until after leaving why Blue Roof Bistro has its name. It's because...the roof is blue heh. Either way, worth the visit.

Lots of regulars came in and they automatically knew their orders. Food: The cup of gumbo was so much larger than I anticipated. I would not have ordered this had I known the size. I'm not sure if it had any seafood in it, since I couldn't taste or see any of them, but it was still hearty and delicious. The bison burger was good, but a bit dry for my taste, so I added a bunch of condiments to it. I asked what the buffalo chips were, which are potatoes with Cajun/buffalo style seasoning that's slightly spicy, so I opted for that and it was worth it, since they didn't have curly fries in stock. Overall I'd come back again, but maybe ask for the burger to be cooked medium rare, if that were an option. It seemed like a nice, friendly place to have good food with friends

We made a reservation for a larger group, yet the table wasn't ready when we arrived, and we ended up waiting much longer than expected. For a place that requires reservations, this was frustrating right from the start. The food was just okay--not terrible, but definitely not worth the price. Given our background and familiarity with Latin cuisine, we expected much more in terms of flavor and authenticity, especially considering the high cost of the dishes. The live music, which we were looking forward to, started about 30 minutes late. To make matters worse, when one of the band members didn't show up, the owner asked a member of our family--who happens to be a musician--to step in and play. Not only did this put us in an awkward position, but there was no acknowledgment or discount offered for his time, even though we had other plans to get to. Parking is also inconvenient, with only street parking or paid lot options available. The restaurant itself is very small, which does create a somewhat intimate atmosphere, but it also feels cramped for larger groups. While the owner comes across as friendly, it also felt like there was a strong focus on maximizing profit. There are multiple additional fees listed in very small print at the bottom of the menu--something that should be much more transparent or reconsidered altogether. Service overall was slow, and again, the pricing does not match the quality or experience provided. At this point, I wouldn't personally recommend this place unless there are significant improvements--better service, more consistent food quality, fairer pricing, clearer fee transparency, and better management of their live music arrangements.
