I think they get super busy with DoorDash orders. Fries are very good and definitely the highlight of the show. Burgers are very dry and need more mayo or ketchup. The local bar (half biker, half country) has a kitchen run by Koreans, who manage to keep a bunch of Korean items on the menu! It's about what you'd expect for terrible bar food, but I do give them credit for trying. And do keep an eye out on your order, they easily get overwhelmed and can't deliver them to your table before your food gets cold. Oh yeah. Thai basil beef with noodles was basically lump of noodles next to the beef. The burger and fries were better but sat so long they were cold. I love Mom's Kitchen. My family and I visited the summer of 2019 and we were blown away by the service and the taste and quality of the food. My husband and I planned a December trip in 2023 and I was excited to visit Mom's once again, and she/they did not disappoint. We ate dinner at Mom's three times in our five day visit and ordered a variety of different foods. Everything came out fresh, delicious, hot, with ample servings. We enjoyed wonderful and flavorful jalapeño poppers, fried mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and burgers and fries. The Mongolian Beef , Fried Chicken fried rice, potstickers, and dumplings were unbelievably delicious. They consisted of tastes and textures that were cooked to perfection. All of these dishes came with Mom's homemade soy sauce, and it was the best soy sauce I've ever tasted. She could probably bottle it and sell it and do a good business with it. There weren't a lot of customers sitting in the very understated restaurant area located a few feet away from a sports bar. However, there was a constant flow of traffic delivery drivers and people picking up orders. The young man who served us was very accommodating and attentive. Being able to eat more delicious Mom's food was definitely a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed Fairbanks in the winter very much look forward to visiting again. read more

I went expecting more as this place came highly recommended. First of all it is open late which is a good thing considering little is open at 2am in the Anchorage area. Its inside the bar so it seens have late hours for there patrons. I found the food ok nothing at all special and to me I found it lacking in taste. I had calamari that was shaped like cheese sticks. I found they lacked flavor. I had wings. I am used to wet wings like in Atlanta. The wings were a bit to dry for me. I did like the rings but that was all.
