I'm a big fan of Lat 65. They have plenty of seating where even if it is busy you'll find somewhere to be. The staff are super nice. The selection of alcohol is limited compared to some other places but they dabble in a variety of styles and flavors for everyone. They also offer a handful of nonalcoholic drinks as well as this is a family friendly place. On Fridays they will also have local vendors inside selling homemade items. We had an Apple orange mimosa cider and pink panty cider. They were both delicious the flavors are suddle not over powerful. Very smooth. read more

Fun place to hang out. Decently good beers. Very causal and easy. Friday night was very busy and had to wait for table to open up, but was reasonable. Had some time to kill before checking into our cabin. Got a flight for cheap (compared to California prices) and tried a few beers. Our favorite was the bartender's recommendation -- Red Raven. I liked the cool setup inside and their walls feature local artists work for sale. We tried the brisket and mac and cheese from the bbq vendor they share the space with. Excellent service. read more

I really liked Lat 65. I try to go to all breweries in every new town I visit. The ambiance was good. The beer-tenders were very nice and welcoming. They had great merch. The food from Frozen BBQ was outstanding. The only thing I absolutely hated were the low table chairs. They are the metal kind that just hit your behind in a very uncomfortable way. I don't understand why more breweries don't invest in better seating. You want people to come in and stay awhile. We couldn't wait to leave because of the chairs. They do have high top tables, but because of being with aging parents, they needed a low table. The beer was good. I especially liked the Pink Boots IPA on tap. I also really like that they had flights. Our table ended up trying almost everything that was on tap. I would definitely go back again. Cheers! read more

You pick which ones and write them on a card then he fills them out. We came here 1. Because I wanted to try the food truck, Hot Diggity Dogs which don't have a yelp, and they were open today, Tuesday, (not mondays). The beers were all good! The lemon blackberry saison was my favorite! The stout was OK, the sour was pretty tart, good flavor and the cider was mild in taste. Their sparkling lemonade sounded good as well. If I lived in Fairbanks I would come here to edit photos and enjoy ambient people. Their beer is all over the place, in a good way. They brew many different styles, all are great takes on said styles. They have everything from pilsners to IPLs to lacto sours to brett beers and back again! Lat 65 has the best beer and atmosphere in Fairbanks Alaska.I went with some family friends on Saturday night about 8 adults and 10 kids and there was plenty of seating for all of us. We were also able to bring our own food. We elected to bring 2 large pizza and snacks for the kids. The brewery offers IPAs, blondes, reds, stouts so there is something for everyone as well as multiple non alcoholic options. Couldn't of asked for a better place to meet up with friends. This place is also dog friendly. I recommend the nitro oatmeal stout or the hazy bou IPA. read more

I was here with my son visiting a friend. A belligerent customer started insulting us, including my son. It was brought to the bar tenders attention and they only laughed and proceeded to serve this person more drinks. The customer then proceeded to insult my friend and then attempted to assault both of us, while I was holding my son. The staff did nothing about this person. I will never go back here and will be contacting the management about the staff's choice to supply this person with more alcohol when they were clearly too drunk to be safe in public. read more
