I'm from Los Angeles - so this pizza was meh to me. I haven't had anything else to eat here in Alaska so it might have been delicious for people that live here ! It had little flavor. When I went to order I was informed they did not have my first option for pizza or my second option for pizza. When i chose a pizza they did have I ordered an hour in advance and was told it would be ready when I get there. When I arrived on time I was informed that it would be another 10 minutes. I was fine with this and waited. It took them 25 minutes to get my pizza to me. When ordering I specifically asks for no onions on my pizza. When I was finally given my pizza there were onions all over it. So to recap they did not have the pizza I wanted, I had to wait even though I ordered well in advance, and they got my order wrong. read more

Gave the famed Dilly Dilly Pickle pizza a try. I love pickles so was hoping to find the next sensational pizza. Sadly the dill sauce on top was way too overbearing and I didn't love it. I even had added shredded chicken to my pizza, but I think what I would personally recommend is using dill pickles as an additional topping to a standard meat lovers pizza. The sourness of the pickle gave off the same vibe as adding yellow peppers to a pizza with a slightly different texture. However the staff working here were very nice and I could see the pizza being very good so will probably stick to my go tos if I ever visit Fairbanks again. I think the place mainly gets to go orders as there weren't that many seats inside the restaurant and the overall ambiance of the place felt like an industrial fast food place. read more

I always visit Diners Drive ins and dives restaurants when I am in a new town. the Hungry robot was a fantastic experience. The place is small only 12 to 16 seats but we were lucky enough to get a table right away. It's quaint inside and sets a good mood for good food. The front house folks were excellent and very nice. The pizzas came out pretty quick and cooked to perfection. I got the chicken and waffle pizza and it was delicious. My coworker got the margarita but we swapped a slice and I have to say I like the tomato sauce on the margarita. The chicken waffle pizza was more to my liking but both were outstanding. Went for the Dilly Dilly and wasn't disappointed! For a pizza covered in pickles, it really had just the right amount and wasn't overwhelming. Would absolutely get it again. The Taters Gonna Tate was really great too though I'll admit that I added a little spare marinara sauce to it. Pickle pizza!!! Ok not everyone likes pickle pizza but this was amazing (called the Dilly Dill) with lots of pickles and a white creamy sauce. The crust was just right and had a bit of crispiness to it as well. They have a good selection of regular and strange toppings that will fit whatever you happen to be in the mood for. Also gluten free crust! This place was in a rather nondescript strip mall type area. When we first arrived we were a bit confused about the entrance and the various pictures online made us think it might be a food truck and there was no seating. Rest assured, this location is not a food truck and there is in fact seating. The staff was really nice and our pizzas came out fairly quickly for being made to order. I was quite impressed! Small place we stopped in for lunch on a -4 degree day. Needed something warm and good to get through the day. Walked in and found a great menu board with some very unusual pizza toppings. I tried the Chicken Bacon White Sauce with spinach and cherry tomatoes. My Wife had the "Murdered by Meat" choice which had multiple meats chopped, with a really nice red sauce. The crusts are cooked perfectly, they taste very good and were just what you want for your pizza. Toppings were excellent, the chop on the all meat pizza allowed you to taste the meat flavors instead of being overpowered by the pepperoni as many of this type do. Busy place even in this weather with steady stream of pickup orders, door dash and others. Only three tables for four in the place so plan accordingly. The counter person was great; so efficient and in control, you can tell she is experience doing this job. Great food! Had the Dilly dilly pizza and the "single for life" cheese sticks. Saw this on a TV show and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The Dilly dilly had plenty of pickles covering the entire pizza (10 inch) and the sauce they used was just the right amount, no need for any seasoning packets or dipping sauce. Solid pizza although they only had the 10" personal size when I visited. Asked for double pepperoni and that was excellent. Note that the menu is more or less pizza/pizza dough type things and not much else. The interior is cute, with some arcade cabinets and a bit of seating, but it's pretty small-- so expect to do to-go. The ice cream/popsicle display was kind of fun too. I've eaten here a dozen times now and it's one of my favorite places in town. First - the obvious. The pizza is delicious. Top quality ingredients - lots of elements made in house (pizza dough, sausage, etc). I love the creativity with some of the pizzas. Deciding what to get is always a challenge (the dilly dilly should be SO wrong and it is so so right). To make it even better, this establishment embodies the "Golden Heart" nature of Fairbanks. The owner is committed to ensuring his customers have a good experience. If a customer is unhappy, he goes out of his way to make it right. He also takes good care of his employees. Wages are more than competitive. They receive retirement contributions. They seem like a "work family". He could easily charge top dollar for his pizzas. They are that good! And don't get me started on the appetizers, popsicles and dole whips! But he's really competitively priced with others in the community....and, frankly, I'd pay a premium, both for the quality of the food and to support a small business that gives back and invests in its community. I have lived across the west coast. I'd say this is my favorite pizza place ever. Hands down! read more

The restaurant is small with only 3 booths, so make plans to take the pizza elsewhere. Also, when we placed our pizza order we were told it would be over an hour. My partner and I were in Fairbanks for a trip to see the northern lights and wanted to find unique food places to eat while we were there. The pickle pizza here is absolutely DELICIOUS. It was my first and sadly I worry it will be the best pickle pizza I will ever have. The flavors were so well-balanced (not too pickley, not too salty) as well as the textures (not too saucey or thick cut pickles). I'm afraid it set off a new obsession with pickle pizzas for me but I may have trouble finding one this good again. We also got the okie dokie artichoke pizza which was sooo good as well. They are not stingy with the toppings which I love. Unrelated but I love their pay it forward program where you can buy a slice and a drink for someone who needs it and a pizza suggestion box. It speaks volumes to the heart of the owner. If we are ever in Fairbanks again, this will definitely be a stop. read more

I had high expectations coming here after looking at the pictures of the pizza. Based on what we received, I think we may have just caught them on an off night. We ordered a 14" half Margherita half Cup and Char. The pizza could have been cooked longer as the bottom was very floppy. The Margherita half also had the most amount of sauce I've ever seen. The pepperonis were the highlight, good flavor and crispy. We also got the ice cream, it was just okay. The whole breadstick had no garlic on it. So disappointed. For the price and the name I definitely expected something better or to taste garlic. I originally stumbled upon this place based on recs I researched online and on travel vlogs before embarking on my first trip to Alaska! I initially thought I would only be able to get pizza here but was surprised they offered ice cream and dessert pizzas as well! We actually came here twice in a row because they did not have the detroit style pizza available the first night we came. However they did have it available the second time (2 times the charm!). We got the regular 10" style the first time and the detroit style the second time with both times choosing the "No Truffle At All". It was honestly really good in both versions. My only complaint was it was suuuper oily in the regular style - literally dripping into and soaking the box. Still very tasty!! Of course, we had to try the ice cream here - we caved and got the 6 flavor flight haha. Basically trying more than half of what was available. A pretty good deal considering it's $10 for 6 full scoops of ice cream! The churro flavor was my favorite but all of them were pretty good. Service was good except since we came at an odd time the second time (3-4pm on a Tues) I guess they turned off the oven? And we ended up waiting about 30-40 min for our pizza. Few tables inside and some tables outside to sit and enjoy your food. But, overall good experience at this spot and would definitely come back again! read more
