    2 Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
    Zay M.

I arrived right at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon to get brunch with a friend. There were other people walking up as I was. Checking in was a little unorganized, in my opinion. A dedicated host wasn't apparent, which is interesting considering they just opened for the day. I was sat at 1:07pm while waiting for my friend to arrive. Faith, our waitress, came over at 1:09pm, and I ordered 2 waters, but she only brought one. Faith did bring my friends a drink when she saw they had arrived. We ordered at 1:22pm. I got 2 cheesesteak egg rolls as an appetizer. I got the 3 whole wings with cabbage and mashed potatoes as a side. I also got aunt e's spiked punch. In my opinion, the "spiked" part of the punch was missing... The alcoholic beverage came 10 mins later at 1:32pm. Faith brought dinner rolls at 1:34pm The egg rolls came at 1:36pm. They were DELICIOUS! I would return just for these, honestly. This was the highlight of the whole experience. My entree came at 1:52pm and my friend's food came a minute later. The chicken was just okay. It wasn't crispy as I expected it to me and lacked flavor. The cabbage and mashed potatoes were fine. The appetizer was wonderful but the entree and drink was more disappointing than anything. I would return to try something else. The seating did seem cluttered and close as well.

The food here is excellent, I highly recommend going here. I got the lamb chops with Jollof rice with a side of mac & cheese and loaded mash potatoes. Let me say everything is flavorful & delicious. My friends got wings, shrimp, sweet potato mash, chessesteak egg rolls, cabbage, among other foods and we all loved it. The manager Rory provided excellent service, she is a gem. I do wish I had more lamb chops for the price point. But head there and try for yourself.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The food, staff, ambiance was delightful. The salmon was the best I've ever had and I still dream about it I was passing through town by myself and decided to dine in and they made me feel right at home. I wouldn't pass this up!

Idk if Aunt E was actually in the kitchen or if she left her people the recipes either way the food was chefs kiss! We had the appetizer sampler with jerk rolls which were full of flavor and don't even need the sauce! The cheesesteak rolls are also good, beef patties were okay(if they let you I would replace them with rolls of mozzarella sticks) and the mozzarella sticks had the perfect pull! I ordered the shrimp basket with a side of sweet heat sauce and fries with a side of green beans!! Everything came out hot and fresh! The shrimp were large and tasty! Fries were good but the green beans were so I good I could have eaten a whole bowl! Hubby had the wings which he said were crispy and good! He also had a side of Mac and cheese which was okay but not my fav and the sweet potato casserole which was amazing! We sat at the bar and Faith was our server she was great and stayed on top of everything and gave great recommendations! The vibe was chill and had great music!! Yes they give you plastic wear and plastic cups but it was fine with me cause silverware/glasses don't get cleaned properly any way! We will be back next time we are in Greensboro!!

Visited here when in Greensboro for an Convocation. It was recommended to me to visit and to try the fried fish. Instead I ordered the oxtail dinner with jollof rice, and cabbage. The cabbage had a burnt taste, so I asked for macaroni and cheese which was good. The oxtails were good but have a lot of salt in the jerk sauce. The chicken wings and jerk chicken egg rolls were awesome! The experience was good and recommend if love soul food.

I had a taste for southern fare, specifically mac&cheese and some type of vegetable. We found this place after a basic web search and it had good reviews. We arrived right when it opened and were a little confused where to go as no one was there to welcome us. It is a big place as one half is an event space and the other is a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted by a waitress, who walked us to one of the dining areas near the bar. She was nice, took our drink order, and told us that she would bring some bread with our drinks. While we waited for the drinks, my wife went to the bathroom. Now, remember, we arrived right when it opened. Sadly, the restrooms were dirty. While we did see someone come clean it later, we were unimpressed that it was not clean from the beginning. Now, the food was pretty good. The bread was warm and reminded me of dinner rolls that you would buy when you wanted to impress your guest for a gathering. I ordered the bourbon salmon with mac&cheese and green beans. It was plated nicely as the salmon rested on a bed of rice. Yet, I wish the green beans were in a bigger bowl or simply placed on the main plate. The salmon was cooked pretty good. Yet, the bourbon glazed appeared to be placed on afterwards as it was very sticky so much so that I had to repeated rub my teeth. With all of that said, I think it could be a great experience after they work out some issues.

First time at this restaurant. Ordered Bourbon Salmon, loaded mashed potatoes and cabbage. Salmon was tasty, although as you can see in the picture , cooked a little too long. Potatoes seem store bought, came out 3min after meal. Cabbage could have had a little more seasoning. Maybe sitting all day as it was late when I arrived, 8:30pm. Drink was mediocre.... Service was awesome!! After 5pm gratuity is added to the bill I would return to try another entree if in the area. 3.5 star, rounded up

This is a restaurant & event space. We arrived at opening for lunch. I instantly loved their music selection. Think hip hop & R&B from late 90s to 2010ish, all the jams. Unfortunately, I don't think they were quite ready for guests. No one was upfront to greet us so we stood in the lobby for a few minutes. They could give more attention to cleaning (wiping tables and chairs, vacuuming floors, etc.) before the doors open. Also, the bathroom was extremely disappointing as the stalls were very dirty. In their defense, we saw someone clean the bathrooms and vacuuming before we left. Nonetheless, the food was pretty good. I got the chicken wings with green beans and sweet potato casserole. The wings were good and meaty and, but it was way too much sauce. The sides were both really good as well. My husband's salmon was amazing as well. I'll also mention that our waitress was friendly and pretty attentive. In the restaurant, they offer a mix of 2-person and 4-person tables as well as bar seating. The decor was pretty lack luster and could use an update. They have a small, private event room available. It could comfortably fit about 25 people. They also have a large event room that comes with a small stage and a private bar area. It looks perfect for small-medium weddings, birthday parties, etc. in the back is an elegant outdoor patio. Ultimately, the potential is there but they have a lot of work to do.

    Fried Flounder

OMG I am in town to drop my son off to college. I wanted some good Southern food before I returned to California. That is some of the best southern food I've ever had. The garlic string beans reminded me of my mother's!!!! So, good. And the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had. They were incredibly buttery. I have never had fried flounder before, but it was so crispy and flaky at the same time. It was seasoned so well. And our waitress was so friendly

Tonight we went to Aunt E with my friends for Dinner the service was phenomenal they seat us quick it was 9 of us. The food was soooo good it was my first time trying the jerk chicken egg rolls it was delicious and the sauce was good. I got bourbonSalmon it was so good we'll cook. Overall the service was excellent also they carter your thanksgiving . It was cool night, atmosphere was good inside it was a pack house. You have to go tried their food you won't be disappointed.

Philly egg roll this the grease old flour on the back side. Was not hot nor warm it's seems like it had been sitting for a while.
    Genette C.

It's a hit or miss but i think if you go early day please check your food if you order to i ordered some eggs they wasn't hot not even warm, I took straight to the trash and it had some old grease flour on one side

    The bathrooms

The food was so wonderful. My lamb chops were perfectly sauced perfectly cooked. I got medium well done the asparagus were full of flavor and they were not salty at all. It was perfect the mac & cheese it's OK like it's pretty good. It's decent the rice was full of flavor. I really liked it and we got those Philly ones the rolls I didn't really like those but then the jerk ones they're fabulous like 10 out of 10. I do recommend my boyfriend got the wings but the whole wings he got them sauce, but they weren't sauced enough he said and their tea is pretty good. I got an Arnold Palmer and I loved it.

3 fried wings. Sweet potato casserole & southern green beans.

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

My partner visited Black Magnolia last week after her massage at Green Leaf Wellness center and raved about her cinnamon roll, so I decided to treat myself to one as well and it did not disappoint. I found the Patisserie straight away as I passed it on the way to my massage, but the signage on the curb helps since some businesses in Revolution Mills can be quite difficult to find. The storefront itself is quite small, consisting of a standing room and the glass case of baked goods, but there is seating outside and around the establishment. The staff was attentive, briefing me on all the cinnamon rolls they currently had and letting me know that there were some baking that would be available a bit later. Each roll looked decadent with flavors ranging from lemon blueberry, s'mores, and classic. There were also scones and other baked goods available as well, but I had my heart set on the Classic Cinnamon Roll. I bit into this beauty on my way home and it was the softest and most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever had! Baked with brioche dough and topped with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, the pillowy texture and flavors were so comforting and satisfying. I started with a Cajun Martini made with jalapeño-infused vodka, and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. It did not taste artificially jalapeño-flavored; it had a real kick and just the right amount of heat. We started with the Crawfish Rangoon Dip, and honestly, I could have made a meal out of it. I have had Rangoon dips before, but this one was especially smooth and full of flavor. If I had been at home, I probably would have been tempted to run my finger around the bowl to get every last bit. For my entrée, I had the Shrimp Étouffée. Others at the table ordered the Duck Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and Gumbo Yaya. My dish seemed to get better with every bite. The Creole stew was rich and deeply flavorful without being over the top. I was especially glad our waitress suggested adding a side of garlic bread to mop up the sauce. Even the garlic bread stood out, toasted on the grill with a slightly smoky flavor. It felt like real attention had been paid to every detail. We all tried each other's dishes, and I would happily go back and order any one of them. The banana pudding at the end of the meal was just as good. It had a strong banana flavor and was not overly sweet. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the meal moved at a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed. My only complaint was the noise level. The restaurant has a tiled ceiling, and it got loud enough that at times, it was difficult to hear people on the other side of the table. Even with that, I would go back to Blue Denim!

The crawfish rangoon dip was delightfully cheesy with large pieces of crawfish, the chili sauce was sweet and had a tiny bit of heat, and I loved the crisp and light wonton chips. There is a moderate amount of cajun spices, so if you don't like somewhat spicy food, you may want to ask to see if they can adjust this, but I loved it as is. My husband had the King Catfish plate and really enjoyed it, though we both agreed the Shrimp and Grits was superior. My only complaint with Blue Denim is the noise level. It is a small space with a charming interior, but given its tight quarters, it can get quite loud even if the restaurant is only half full. I'm not sure how they would go about fixing this, but if the weather is nice (as it was in this latest visit) I will opt to eat at one of their outdoor tables.

About the food. Probably the BEST FRIED CHICKEN in the area. I really can't judge on that because I haven't sampled other fried chicken in the vicinity but based on my own research of sampling fried chicken all over North Carolina, I feel confident in my assumption. It was fried just right. It was SEASONED. It had a very nice batter that was crunchy and the chicken in the inside was tender and juicy. Every bite was tender and juicy. These ladies should teach a cooking class on how to make fried chicken-to other restaurants. The SWEET POTATOES were perfectly cooked and flavored in butter and cinnamon.
