I ordered a dish that is normally in a red sauce, but white sauce was also offered. I chose the white, but it lacked flavor. The calamari appetizer was tasty, but rubbery as calamari can be. The other fish dish, I was told was tasty. Soon after we finished, dessert was offered, to which we declined. Then the bill came. We continued to sit and chat. I started seeing unhappy faces and came to realize we were the last diners. Perhaps the restaurant should inform late diners prior to seating that it closed at a certain time. It was only about 8:30. I think I need to re-visit Sal D's at an earlier time and try other dishes, hence the three star rating.
