This is a lovely country place. We went on a Sunday when they had a buffet of all kinds of southern foods. On other days, they have menu service and an ice cream shop and other offerings. The buffet was really fun and had a lot of choices. My favorites were the fried chicken, mac & cheese, and broccoli casserole. In fact, I was thinking about the latter two the whole rest of the afternoon wishing I had gone back for seconds. There was also a nice salad bar and several dessert choices. The drinks come in giant jars so if you're thirsty, this is a great place. The staff was very nice. Also, you get a ton of food for under $20, which is rare and welcome these days especially. Thanks, Aunt Sue!

My husband and I did the Friday night buffet which includes a drink and AYCE for $19.95 a piece. Whatever you do, do not pay any mind to the negative reviews of Aunt Sues, they're city people that just plain don't know good food or good people. They had everything decorated for fall and it was so cute! My grandparents have been coming here for years & they loved it when my papa was alive. Everything was hot & fresh & food was amazing! Service was amazing, always a refill with a smile & bright southern hospitality. We are staying at our families cabin 10 minutes away and will put this on our list to go to from now on! We even came back for the coffee shop next door this morning & it also can't be beat!

We had a great experience at Aunt Sue's. I was watching some YouTube videos on a hike we were planning for to get a feel of the trail, and the man in the video went to the restaurant and they showed the fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. We passed the restaurant on our way to the park and knew when we were through with our hike we would return to get some lunch. On the way back from Table Rock SP, the restaurant is hidden by the way the road is higher on the overpass and the restaurant is tucked to the side. Something to be mindful of. It isn't as easy to spot if you are leaving Table Rock State Park. The menu was a bit limited although I have nothing to compare it to. It may always be like that. Every individual we came into contact with that worked at Aunt Sue's was so kind and respectful with that Southern hospitality and charm. I got the roast beef sandwich with provolone on rye bread with the seasoned fries, and my husband got the turkey and cheese on wheat with the baked beans. Our sandwiches were delicious, but the one downside is that oddly enough there was butter on the bread which made it soggy. There was no mention of butter so if we knew that we would have opted to not have that on our sandwich as it already came with a condiment. My husband is a type 1 diabetic so butter is definitely something he needs to stay away from as it affects his body negatively. The french fries were very crispy and yummy, but sadly the beans were not hot. I realized I didn't see fried pickles on the menu, and I asked our waitress if they had them. They did and I ordered them right away. They were so good. Very slim sliced pickles fried to perfection and served with ranch. I ate as many as could I and brought the rest home where I later threw them in the air fryer and devoured them again. Our waitress was refreshing and wonderful, she was on top of everything and quite funny, and didn't miss a beat with making sure our drinks were refilled and ready to take with us on the road. The location also featured gem mining and a separate place to to get some ice cream that was outside of the restaurant. There is a wonderful wrap around porch out front with rocking chairs that we sat at for a while after we ate and relaxed. It was very peaceful and nice. There is also live bluegrass music played in the evening on the weekend .

    Everyone loved the seafood buffet!

We went to the seafood buffet on Friday night while camping at Table Rock. The $30 seafood buffet starts at 4pm and bluegrass music starts at 6pm. Includes a drink, sides, salad bar and dessert. Best fried seafood I've ever had. The staff are so nice and so appreciative of the business.

We stopped at this restaurant after walking a couple trails. We were starving. What we ordered: fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, chicken salad, Reuben Sandwich and honey chicken sandwich. Service: fast and our waitress was a sweetheart Food: delicious Cost: $6-$11 Parking: plenty Overall, this place was great! There is a small pizza place next door, a couple doors down gift shops and an ice cream place. Everyone there was super nice and very attentive. Will definitely return!

I wasn't impressed at all. Food options were sparse and flavor was blah. I didn't bother to try the peach cobbler or banana pudding cuz neither looked appetizing. I'm a huge Mac and cheese gal, but I opted not to get theirs cuz it didn't look good either. The fried chicken was decent, prob was the best tasting thing on the menu. And seeing a workers bottled water, drink cup and what I assume a dirty glove sitting right by the food buffet was a turn off. I saw it after I ate and I didn't want to get anything else, not that I was impressed enough to go back for seconds anyways.

Smoked ribs too big to fit on the plate

The best smoked ribs ever. I visited this place 5 times in last 6 months Every single time I order smoked ribs And every time it's done perfect Also the service is always on the top level.

Everett Street Diner is our most favorite place for breakfast - hands down. Hubby and I have tried many items, none have disappointed. Fresh, hot, correctly cooked, presentation, service, hospitality, coffee, atmosphere, and prices - all are spot on fabulous. The owner - Mr Everett Street Diner ALWAYS greets everyone with a smile and friendly conversation. Family oriented, he welcomes you in, sits you down and makes you feel like you're in his kitchen. If (more like when) you wait for your table, it's never long. The staff bust their butts and don't make you feel rushed at all. This morning we/the restaurant celebrated, as an entire group, the expected January arrival of a little girl, and three birthdays!!! And yes, we ALL sang happy birthday. Well, except for Mr Everett, apparently he doesn't sing and will tell ya so!! Seriously though, if you're looking for a good meal, friendly service, and a place you can't wait to come back to ..... try Everett Street Diner!! Oh, and if you're looking for a little heat and spice? You've GOTTA try their spicy diner relish!!! We're on our 4th jar and have gifted 3 jars out to friends, family and a great barkeeper in San Antonio (but that's a different story)! Love you all at Everett Street Diner!!!

Upon entry, everything looked good she brought us to the table. The first thing I noticed is the booth backside has some weird buttons that are broken and half hanging out of the seat which caught my shirt then we were agreed by a waitress who had absolutely no personality whatsoever. Because we were working all of us went to the restrooms to wash up. The restroom is old. The stall door does not lock properly, and I felt like it was just dingy and somewhat not lit properly and dirty. I ordered the baby club with onion rings my friend ordered the turkey plate with dressing. My baby turkey club was OK. It taste good but I wouldn't say it was exceptional. It was just average. I upgraded and paid extra for onion rings because I absolutely love onion rings however, I was very much disappointed in the onion Rings. First of all the coding on the onion rings is super thick and heavy when they were served to me the onion rings were cold with that thick layer of cornmeal. They were very tough and unappealing absolutely no flavor. You could barely taste the onion so then I decided to peel off all of the breading and try the onion within, and it was a fresh onion very sweet very good, but I was very disappointed. Lastly, my dish came with coleslaw. This to me was the absolute best coleslaw. I've had Don't a while and it was the hit of my dish and I absolutely loved it my partner at lunch. He liked his turkey with dressing meal. He said it was good but it wasn't fabulous or anything. It was just as he says it is what it is. I don't know that I'll go back. The only thing I may decide to do is if they serve breakfast, I may try them as a breakfast place and see if they do better.
