This place chock full of delicious goodies. My wife purchased a variety of pastries and cookies, from which we sampled. The chocolate chip cookies were so much like my grandmother's cookies. My wife had to go back in to get some puffs for lunch. These bits of stuffed breads were the perfect bite. The lady working there was kind enough to warm them. They have also have gluten free options. The place is open 7 days a week and judging by the amount of in/out traffic they are a local favorite. We will be back to order more. Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy.
