Online ordering from the app was super easy, convenient and nice that you can customize literally everything to your liking per item. Used a coupon code and scored 15% off which was also nice. My order arrived in decent time, still hot and the driver was professional, polite and had a mask on. What more could you ask for? Perhaps it was the pizza, but the pizza greasy/soggy. In all fairness, the XL is very big. Getting half pepperoni/ half cheese made it crazy greasy. It was also flat, which didn't help matters. The other pizza in my group was a little less greasy because it was loaded with veggies. The place is clean and decent. They gave me the remote when I asked for something less violet on the tv. Their decor is super cool with reclaimed (new) wood, porcelein wood tile floor. Someone came in and knew what they wanted in the design. The setup is you order at the register and take a seat - they bring the food out to you. We ordered their buffalo chicken pizza - spicy. I loved their crust - nice and thin with generous portions of chicken. We had a vegan who was a part of our table and he was happy - since they had a friendly section for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. Thought I'd get a nice Turkey and Cheese sub. I asked for toasted bread, not realizing the bread they use is a bit hard. Too hard for a turkey sandwich, in my opinion. It's probably good as a side for soup, but not for a submarine.The sandwich tasted good, but the turkey and cheese slices were so thin, I could barely taste it. The sandwich was more like a vegetarian with turkey added. However, I will be sure to ask for extra turkey and cheese to beef it up a bit. Pizza and calzones are yummy, fresh and hot. The restaurant is super clean and the staff couldn't be nicer. We are stranded with a broken down RV waiting for a tow. We've been on the road for hours and our kids are exhausted. The person that took our order saw me gently re-direct my ( year old from watching Keeping up With the Kardashians on the TV here, and walked over to change the channel. Great food, now that they got rid of that terrible manager that would not do our "Hunger Rush" discount because she was always in a bad mood, I have to give the Smithfield location 5 stars because the pizza is the best like I had in Sardinia, Italy, and the sandwiches and salads. They have a little bit of everything here: pizza sandwiches, pasta, calzones and salad and everything is pretty good. My only complaint is there a bit on the pricy size for lunch/quick dinner. I've offered from competitors in the area and whenever I order from PieZoni's it's a good $5-$10 more than their competitors, BUT the food is also significantly better. After giving this place many chances due to the fact that we have had some good experiences when they first opened we have decided to finally part ways. The pizza is just plan bad lately. This is largely in part because the pizza is not fully cooked or cooked on one side and not the other. We have asked for well done over and over and they just don't do it. I don't know if they think they can get away with undercooked pizza because they need to get food out quicker or the person working the ovens just doesn't know or wasn't trained on what a cooked product is. It comes more like a par baked product you would find on the shelf of a grocery store. Im tired of spending my money on inconsistency and having my dinner ruined. I called and asked to talk with the owner and to let him know what was going on with his restaurant and he basically said it he didn't believe me and then told me he was busy and had to go. I Work right near this place so we usually do take out a few times a week. They have great lunch specials and their food is pretty good but the last few times we have ordered our orders have been messed up or the girls at the front desk are rude. Today when we ordered we did not have a good experience and we almost ended up canceling our whole order. When I got there to pick up no one even acknowledged that I was in the lobby even though they could see me. Pretty unhappy with our last couple experiences not because of the food. Had a terrible meal at piezoni on Friday pm ordered 2 steak sandwiches and chicken fingers dinner chicken fingers were 6 pieces of chicken nugget sized chicken that was over cooked ( burnt) and the steak sandwich was a roll with a minimal amount of overcooked steak we had ordered this order several times from this piezonis location and always have been satisfied with the product I call and told manager I believe her name was Maria or Mary about my complete dissatisfaction with this meal and requested someone deliver a new meal to us we did pick it up she refused to deliver a new meal saying that they were too busy to deliver it and offered 20% off my next meal I told her there would be no next meal and declined her discount I wanted a new meal delivered but she wouldn't do that so much for customer service do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere the quality of food and customer service has dropped drastically read more

This was my first time at Piezoni's and I was pleasantly surprised. Had the cheese pizza and it was fantastic. The portion are large and the menu is extensive. There is something for everybody. The atmosphere was inviting and the restaurant was impeccably clean. The staff was extremely friendly as well. I can't wait to check some of the other items on the menu. Little disappointed with my experience today. First, the girl behind the counter looked up at me three times but never acknowledged me, then I hear the music in the back with the cooks and it's uncensored rap music, then I see a guy sweeping in the hallway and constantly grabbing his crotch and finally, my pizzas were not cooked as ordered. 19 minutes ago I called this place in Smithfield to order a large pizza and fries.The lady there said pick up in 25 minutes..I get there 20 minutes later, go in and pay..Waited 15 minutes longer until the manager comes out and explains to me that my order was never put in..No record of it..How is that possible when I just paid for it..So I wait even longer for them to tell me they will have to deliver it to me now..Ok..I understand mistakes can happen..So I decide yesterday to give it another go..I call this location again and order a large pizza..I talk to a lady there for 45 seconds and place my order..I was told 20 minutes for pickup..So I get there 15 minutes later and go in to pay..The lady behind the counter can't find my order AGAIN!!..Now there is only three people working there..No one wants to admit that they screwed up my order again..At this point I am very frustrated..There is no need for this..Then they proceed to tell me they have no more large pizza boxes..So I guess I am supposed to carry my pizza out in a bag or in my hands..So at this point I am even more aggravated..They lady behind the register tells me that I should realize that there is a pandemic going on and starts getting irate,swearing and everything..I told them where they could stick there pizza!!..This place is the worst customer service read more

What a good place to eat. My husband and I came in and ordered a meatball sandwich and French fries. The place was clean, waitress was very pleasant but what made this even better is that the meatball sandwich was hot and delicious and the French fries were crisp and hot. I used to like this place after trying it about 2 mo the ago. Great atmosphere & friendly employees. The food is fresh & tasty. What I never liked was the small portions with the calzones so I stopped ordering it & got the salmon but the salmon was dry. The pizza was tasty tho. The last time we went in we were told the prices had changed & some items as well. Very disappointing to learn they charge so much as a few dollars more on certain things! I can see 50 cents. Our family has been going to this Pizza place now since it has opened about a year ago and have been continually impressed by the food and employees that work there. The pizza and calzones are wonderful and the salads and subs are solid. For a "pizza place" the food is relatively fresh and healthy depending on what you order. Bit it is good to know that there are healthy options available otherwise my wife would be less than trilled to eat here on a regular basis. Store is clean and plenty of seating is always available.
