Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. The first major issue was the fact that they will not split checks for you and will actually put all orders on one bill and make you figure it all out. We had a large party and the server stood around while we all had to figure out what was owed for almost 30 minutes. We got a manager and he stated that their policy is to only split a check up to 4 ways, regardless of how many parties are involved. I used to serve tables many times before I got into real estate and have never seen a restaurant with such a dumb policy. I asked to reduce the server's gratuity from the forced 20% on a large party to 15% since we had to spend our time doing her job and the manager said he could not accommodate that. FYI, they like to calculate gratuity based on AFTER they add in sales tax. So you are paying their forced gratuity on sales tax as well. Service was awful, slow, and we had to refill our own drinks multiple times. The server could not even clear our table properly like you would expect at most restaurants with this type of atmosphere. The food was mid. The only thing this place had going was the atmosphere. If it is this difficult to figure out how to split payments with multiple parties and is supposedly "policy", I can't imagine this business will last and certainly won't recommend them to anyone.
