    Peanut butter

Ahh the classic mall pitstop. Shopping bags in hand, hunger is there, Auntie Anne's saves the day. I've been craving the equivalent of a Friendly's Reese's peanut butter cup Friend-Z for MONTHS now. You heard me. Gosh why did those have to close. Anywho, right when it was time to order the cinnamon bites with frosting (a must order) I couldn't help but notice their Carvel ice cream menu which featured a peanut butter sundae in a cup. Of course I had to order it and OH MY this is confirmed the closest thing I have gotten to a friendly's friend-Z and I could not be happier. The staff is always so nice, hardworking, and there's probably 3 of these in the Natick Mall so you might have to wait 5 minutes most. Never a problem and couldn't be happier with this ice cream!

    Cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets $4.75

Whenever I go to the Natick Mall, inevitably I end up at Auntie Anne's. The one by Macy's. The line is usually ridiculously long. And the people in line never seem to think about what they want to order until the cashier says "what can I get you?" Thus the line moves slower than a 3 toed sloth. But damn those pretzel nuggets are good. They have zero nutritional merit. But damn they taste good!

You can't go wrong with a yummy pretzel as a snack while getting your shopping done. I personally like their plain salted pretzel with marinara sauce. But I've also tried their cinnamon sugar pretzel and their pretzel dogs too. The time I visited, the pretzels were literally coming out of the oven and had that freshly baked aroma going on, they were oh so good. The staff was friendly and even offered us a sample of their churro like, cinnamon sticks. Auntie Anne's is a nice treat for the entire family.

I never eat the entire chicken sandwich at lunch. A half, maybe. I devoured my Dave's Hot Chicken…read moresandwich- ate the entire thing. Perfectly cooked with mild seasoning, pickles and kale slaw. Wow. Fries with a bit of spice- also very good. The cashier walked me through the menu as he knew I hadn't been before. Very nice. A manager also checked in with me as I waited. Nice touch. Restroom was ok, not the cleanest but fine. Dave's is now on my "crave it" list!!

We walked into a casual, modern space with colorful murals and a counter-service setup that made it clear this was a quick-stop spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. The room had a lively, energetic feel with a steady flow of customers coming in for takeout and a few tables occupied by diners settling in for a quick meal. The order process was straightforward, and the menu was focused enough that deciding what to get did not take long. The sliders are the highlight, featuring crispy, juicy chicken topped with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce on a soft bun. We ordered a few and found the tenders having a crunchy coating while staying moist inside, and the different spice levels made it easy to order something that matched our heat tolerance. Even the mild options were well seasoned, so we did not have to go spicy to enjoy the flavor. The seasoned fries paired well with the chicken, and the combo meals were filling enough to leave satisfied. While the menu is not very large, it covers the essentials well and makes ordering straightforward whether it is a first visit or a stop for a quick meal. The spice levels are clearly labeled, and starting with Lite Mild or Mild is a safe option before working your way up. Service was generally efficient, though food is cooked fresh to order, so waits could be a little longer during lunch, dinner, or weekend rushes. The team handled the steady flow with efficiency, and the portions were generous for the price. The food came out hot and well assembled, and the consistency across the order made it easy to know what to expect. The chicken was usually cooked well, and the combination of crispy coating, juicy interior, and balanced heat made for a satisfying meal. Dave's Hot Chicken is not trying to reinvent fried chicken, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The crispy chicken, customizable heat, and satisfying portions make it a solid spot when you are craving Nashville-style hot chicken, even if there are other places that offer a wider menu.

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers - 6 finger combo

We walked into a straightforward fast food space that stays busy, particularly on weekends, with an energy that matches the straightforward menu. The restaurant is clean and functional, designed around getting people in and out efficiently without sacrificing the quality of what comes out of the kitchen. The menu is deliberately narrow, built around chicken fingers and the handful of sides and sauces that complement them, and that focus pays off in the consistency of what we ordered. The chicken fingers are the obvious centerpiece and they held up, crispy on the outside and juicy throughout without the greasiness that brings down a lot of fast food fried chicken. The sauce is the thing that turns a good chicken finger into the reason people come back. Creamy and tangy with a slight kick, it plays well against the chicken and makes every component on the tray work better with it than without. Ordering an extra cup is the right move, and most regulars do it without thinking twice. The Texas toast is genuinely one of the better versions of the format at a fast food chain, buttery and slightly crisp in a way that earns its place on the tray rather than just filling it. The crinkle cut fries are solid without being remarkable, and the coleslaw does its job as a palate break between the richer items. The staff is a consistent highlight at this location, with an energy and friendliness that stands out in a category where that kind of engagement is rare. Order accuracy can slip during the heaviest rushes, so checking the bag before leaving is worth the extra moment. For a fast food stop that knows exactly what it is and delivers on that promise consistently, Raising Cane's is a reliable choice.

I usually go to KFC a block away for a meal. I wanted the chicken fingers and I ordered the 4 piece combo to dine in. Service was quick and was packed to go? Receipt clearly says dine in? The counter guy , He unpacks and puts on a tray. Chicken tenders were moist, juicy, cooked perfect and breading perfect... issue was bland taste to chicken? Needs spices of offer a spiced version? Fries were ok, but many small dinky fries? The guy gave me ketchup packs which were Heinz . I also got ketchup at the self serve by the drinks self serve. The self serve ketchup tasted different and not Heinz ? The Canes sauce... they serve only one with the meal. They charge 49 cents it appears for additional sauce. The hey are stingy with the sauce vs. unlimited at Chik fil a ? One sauce not enough for 4 pieces for me.... The interior and vibe , music is attractive and appealing to the young crowd vs family or senior dining at Chik Fila . Very good chicken and 4 pieces meal priced reasonable . The Cole slaw was excellent and a high light. The bread toasted looked a 1/2 of a hot dog roll? It was only toasted on one side? No garlic toast flavors at all? It was a decent meal and welcome alternative to KFC or Chik Fil A who is closed Sundays and prices high? Canes I didn't see a shake drink Offering or a desert , or ice cream option unless I missed it ... I would like a great salad with one or two of these chicken tenders cut up on it.

I got cherry Vanilla Coke which was so good! You can also draw little pictures and/or write notes and hang them up on a bulletin board! This gives the experience a nice, interactive aspect to it :)

I'm usually not a fan of five guys fries but this batch was actually very good, better than some other locations. The wait here was a bit long for a fast food burger and fries, there were 3 other people and it took about 20 minutes.
