The truck's been uptown for a while now. It works when you're looking for a snack. You really have to be a pretzel fan to pay these prices more than once or twice a year. I got the mustard sauce, which was good. I noticed it's Ken's brand, so I can just get it at the supermarket. Yeah, the prices are a bit of a turnoff. Terrible quality that has really deteriorated. Pretzels are rarely fresh anymore and the pricing has become ridiculous. $6 for a small cup of pretzel nuggets that were not even close to being fresh and were actually stale. Plus, and get this, they sell a 32oz size beverage but give you a 20oz size for the 32oz price as the vast majority of people buying don't realize and even the workers didn't realize. It's a toss-up between whether Auntie Anne's or Cinnabon aroma completely takes over a mall, in a good way, of course... (slight edge to Cinnabon) Finally, I decided to give it a try while I was in Macy's. I absolutely was in love just because of the smell, but it was by far the best pretzel I ever had. I ate the entire pretzel in about two minutes, and didn't feel any shame in doing so. I even overlooked the fact that it's going to take me 20 minutes on the arc trainer to burn off... however, what I couldn't overlook was the horrid service in this location. There were five of us on line, one person on the register... but three other employees basically doing nothing. They were laughing, joking and talking about music. Fine, I can look past the wait time and slow service-- however, the lady in front of me after receiving her order returned and wanted a straw; this seemingly bothered the employee and instead of handing me my pretzel, she placed it on the counter and wasn't very customer friendly service to me. i am inside macy's and the smell of buttery pretzel aroma is telling me screw the clothing shopping and go get some aunties anne pretzels instead .it's on the seventh floor and if you are lucky the line is short and all the variety of pretzels are available including the bite sizes . i prefer the old school buttery flavor pretzel with no salt , the cinnamon , almond , sugar, etc are ok but i prefer the classic . the frozen lemonade drinks are decent but you may get a brain freeze and that's not decent . i stopped by at the right time as a fresh hot batch of soft chewy pretzels were ready for me. 2 pretzels for 6 bucks and add a drink for another 3 bucks , less then 10 bucks and you have your weekly allowance of carbs . i might have to visit my auntie anne in white plains on sunday at the galleria before the start of football sunday . read more

I go here often since it's close to my job and I have a club card however service is hit or miss. If there is an older Asian lady there her customer service sucks. You say a number 2 and she says do you want pretzel sticks that's what the menu says lady. Today she said that comes with cheese do you want cheese, I said of course it comes with it. Then she proceeds to tell me there isn't any cheese, then offers marinara. I said Indont want marinara just give me a number 2 and subtract the cost of the cheese. Of course this was something she didn't know how to do. You would think brig in Penn Station they wouldn't have incompetent workers in a food establishment left ALONE.
