Came here for a superbowl bogo event, so the froyo was all buy one get one! Unfortunately the line itself was rather long, so we did have to wait a while, but soon enough we were inside getting our froyo. By that time at night, much of the flavors were either very low or out, and I wasn't able to try the super special tart flavor that they had, but I really enjoyed the normal tart, mango, and tangerine flavored one. I also really enjoyed the strawberry and mochi toppings and that it was self-serve. You pay by weight for your froyo, and you're good to go! Perfect! Probably our favorite Yogurtland location. Not only is it located in a very popular plaza, but this place is always prepared. All the machines are always working properly, the toppings are always filled and organized, and the workers are always ready at the register. Parking can be quite difficult since the plaza is very crowded so you might have to park far away. Despite the shop being fairly small, they're able to fit a good amount of tables and chairs inside as well as outside. Highly recommend going to this location! read more

Post dinner treat! Can't beat a visit to Yogurtland! I had a mix of pistachio, cheesecake and plain tart...topped with mochi and a nutter butter cookie. Service was good and the place had good amount of foot traffic. There are seats inside and outside. It's clean but some kid took advantage of the sample cup and served his hand a cup worth of yogurt and ran out causing a spill. The employees here were quick to clean it up. Kudos to the employees for being on top of things, just a bummer they have to deal with some unruly people. read more

One star because zero isn't an option. I've been a loyal Yogurtland customer for YEARS, but after my experiences at the Garden Grove location on Brookhurst, I'm officially done. Not once, but TWICE--I've come in well before closing and been told the sauces (the BEST part of the toppings bar) were already put away "for the night." The first time was two weeks ago. I arrived at 9:45 PM (they close at 10) and was told the sauces were "in the back." Annoying, but fine. Tonight, I gave it another shot. I got there at 9:10 PM thinking I was safe. NOPE. Again, NO SAUCES. I asked about them, and the worker smugly told me they "put the sauces away an HOUR before closing." Seriously, why?? I didn't know Yogurtland started closing early just for convenience. If your store hours say 10 PM, I expect the full experience until 10 PM. Not this lazy, half-open service. It's beyond disappointing. You've lost a customer. If you want Yogurtland that actually gives you what you're paying for, go to the one at: 111 E Katella Ave, Unit 20, Anaheim, CA 92802. Yogurt tasted like usual, but a young female Asian employee was rather rude to us. She just carelessly stuck three spoons into our cup after we told her that we were taking it to-go and needed lids. I thought that since lids were a given, messily sticking three spoons upright into our cup would not only be unnecessary but outright impetuous. However, she did what she did. I'm sorry, a Yogurtland that doesn't do samples?? That's a straight up ABOMINATION. I believe it's location specific since I just went to another location a week ago (on Chapman and Brookhurst), that still provided sample cups. While I love Yogurtland and their endless ideas for different flavors, the execution isn't always there. They'll come up with a flavor that sounds delicious in theory, but the taste will be totally off-putting. Since we already made the trip there, we decided to just risk it and get a few flavors, but what a regrettable decision. The only flavors that were actually palatable were the chocolate, alphonso mango tart, and the Thai tea. Even then, the consistency of the yogurt wasn't great, since most of them came out watery. The "lucky Irish mint," which I UNLUCKILY got in my cup, was sickeningly sweet (and I normally LOVE mint desserts). The ube had a strange chemical taste to it, and after one bite, my husband threw away the rest. Luckily for this Yogurtland, it's located in a super busy plaza with other restaurants, so I'm sure their stingy business tactics won't keep customers away. For me personally, I won't be visiting again because it's a waste of money to come and hope that I pick the right flavors that day. I know that there are cheap people out there who sample the yogurt without having any intention of purchasing anything, but I don't agree with punishing paying customers who just want to have an idea of what they're paying for. read more

On top of that, the prices are absolutely ridiculous--almost $12 for a decent small bowl with barely any toppings is extremely pricey. The conspicuous pricing strategy by weight feels like a trap, and it's just not worth it. I will not return, as there are much better and more affordable soft-serve options around. We were just traveling down the 22 and were craving froyo. So we stopped at this one on our way home. This was, by far, the nicest Yogurtland we've ever been to (and we go pretty frequently). They had way better toppings than other places and all of the toppings were super fresh and well stocked. The workers greeted everyone and were constantly busy refilling things. I don't write many reviews but felt compelled to share our awesome experience at this location. We'll definitely be back! read more
