The roasted oyster and pork belly apps were outstanding and the service was very much on point. Don't miss out on this gem!

Wow, I don't understand the hype. I've been wanting to try Metzger's for quite some time and…read morefinally went with my hubs and son. All three of us were completely underwhelmed, Nothing was terrible, but nothing wowed us, and for the price we wanted wow. We started with drinks and the bread. The cottage cheese/butter mixture was yummy, but the rolls were overdone and dry inside. I only ate half of mine. The house white wine was lovely and my son had a very creative and interesting cocktail. The gem lettuce salad was wonderful. - the highlight of the evening. Tender lettuce, fresh herbs, green goddess dressing. The spring peas with wasabi butter were quite good as well. Then things went downhill. The spaetzle dish was a huge disappointment. The pasta was mushy, and we could barely taste the raclette. The charred broccolini on top was great, but that's not why you order spaetzle. We told the server that we didn't care for the dish, but she didn't ask for further details. The white asparagus has a strange vinegar flavor, but was rescued by the lovely sauce. We all ordered the chicken schnitzel. I'm still scratching my head over what the chef was trying to accomplish. The schnitzel itself was tender and perfectly cooked. The few bites I had without sauce were quite good. But the chicken was drenched in an overwhelming sauce (romesco?) although I think the menu said it was a Thai sauce. Whatever it was, it didn't go with the schnitzel at all. The endive on top of the schnitzel was delicious, however. Also, the menu said the dish had currywurst in it. None of us could taste even a hint of it. Portions are modest, and we could have eaten dessert, but none of us wanted to be expensively disappointed even further, so we called it a night.

Very big plus is our beers were half off because we also stumbled upon happy hours. The whole place was pretty big, and had a good arcade section. We definitely were able to kill time and had a lot of fun. Staff is pretty chill and let us know we could drink near the games. Can't wait to come back!

For their arcade, you have to use a card that you buy credits on to. In our opinion, the games were a little expensive. I think it's more directed towards parents who want to drink and offload their kids in this area, but for those of us already spending a good amount on drinks, the price on the games kinda sucks. We're used to a cover for all you can play or something a little more affordable. They do have a lot of great, newer games. It definitely kept us entertained for a while. They also had a great variety. It was pretty empty when we got there a little after lunch, but by 4pm or so it started raining and they were PACKED. The drinks were good, nothing special. A couple draft cocktails that tasted like you would expect. Some good beer options. It's a great spot in the area, huge bar area that can fit a lot of people and a really great patio.

When I was in town a year ago, this place was a huge hit, but as of a couple days ago when I…read morewent... not so much. It took over 20 minutes for our waitress to come over and greet us, and that wasn't even to take our drink orders. It was so long that we debated leaving, however we remember how good it was, so decided to stick the wait out. I should've taken the nearly empty restaurant as a sign. That's was my mistake. Might've been one of the longest meals of my life. The staff- who claim to be short staffed (which could very well be, I'm not downplaying that), however they frequently stood in front of the TV watching whatever sports game was on it... interesting. When we tried to get our waitresses attention (multiple times this occurred), we got a nasty side eye and she walked away and ignored us (lovely ). When we did finally get our meals, items of it were cold or incorrect (shoutout my mashed potatoes which were physically hard). With that being said, the wings were good, would recommend those if you're going here. Don't order the tacos on the other hand... elote corn was obviously frozen- gross. Other items of the meal you could tell were previously frozen too. I will say they offered us a complimentary dessert which was nice, I was just really disappointed with this experience overall. In my opinion this restaurant needs to be renovated and menu needs to be cleaned up (and the freshness of the food should be revalued), this place is going downhill and experience reflects that.
