This location was right outside of the store we were shopping and my son LOOOOOVES Auntie Anne's (as do I, shhhhhh lol) so we both got a little treat. The place was very clean and the young lady behind the counter was very courteous and polite. She quickly greeted us, took our order, served us with a smile, and we were on our way. What more could you ask for?! However, I have two minor issues with this location; hence the four stars. First, is that this location does not have the jalapeño pretzel (yep, this girl likes it hot). Why they don't offer it? I'm not sure. One kind of expects/hopes for the same menu as other locations. So instead, I opted for the roasted garlic Parmesan with a bottled water & my son got the cinnamon sugar & a frozen lemonade. Second, is that my pretzel only had seasoning on the bottom half which, of course, was an overload and not very pleasant to eat. If we end up at this location again in the future, I will remember to ask that they please evenly distribute the seasoning. ;)

Anne-other location of this Franchise, down here in the Springfield Town Center. And I should say yet another location - because there are just too many - of this popular pretzel and Lemonade chain. I actually like their products. The laminate, I mean lemonade (but you could use it to laminate I bet), is pretty tasty even though it gives me a bit of a sore throat. Probably from all the high fructose corn syrup really - they should do some real sugar instead. Or honey! Honey lemonade. Now there's a concept. The pretzels just don't do it for me. They never really did but especially now having tried the stuff at Reading Terminal Market and even Closer by the Dutch Village Market in Upper Marlboro Maryland. So yeah. Your Auntie is cuter than your Uncle. True story. I'd know.

These mini hotdogs taste so different with what we usually eat at auntie Anne's. I bought for kids amd tried it, omg, taste so yak!!! Idk what they did to messed up with delicious one. I wish I tried before my kids almost finish it, so I can return it! And so much butter on the top ((

Falls Church, VA - after hiking around in the city my handsome husband and I worked up a hunger…read more German Gourmet to the rescue! This little store on Columbia Pike functions as a German specialty grocer, deli and sandwich counter. Our focus today was the sandwich counter. One important thing to know is there is no seating of any kind. You will be taking your sandwiches to go. (My suggestion: get a few slices of butter kaese at the deli counter and munch on these on the car ride home. Then enjoy your sandwiches in peace at your abode.) They do offer napkins and plastic silverware if needed. The sandwiches are freshly made to order. You take a number and a deli employee will assist you. They have numerous types of bratwurst to choose from. Additionally a number of German cold cuts. We ordered a Nurnberger bratwurst and the Tyrolean hot sandwich. The breads for both were very fresh and the sandwiches tasty. The mustard on the bratwurst was full of good horseradish! The Tyrolean was moist with a good combination of tender meat and sauce. The bread was a nice mild rye - it was a two hander sandwich! We were both full having eaten these delicious sandwiches. The deli employees were all friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return.

Hi everyone, just wanted to leave a review of German Gourmet on Columbia Pike…read more Before I begin, I want to identify what the ingredients are for a classic Reuben. You'll need two slices of seeded or marble rye bread, about six ounces of thinly sliced corned beef or pastrami, two slices of sharp Swiss cheese, roughly a quarter cup of well-drained sauerkraut, and two tablespoons of Russian or Thousand Island dressing. A little butter for toasting the bread and optional spicy brown mustard round it out. That said, what I actually received was the absolute worst Reuben I've ever had in my entire life. They used ham instead of corned beef or pastrami, an insult to the name. The Swiss was bland and low-quality, not sharp at all. There was no mustard, barely any Thousand Island, and I couldn't even detect any sauerkraut. The bread wasn't toasted, and they still charged me $12.50 with tax. If this is what passes for a Reuben at a supposed German delicatessen, save your money and go somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

After hearing good things about Aslin, we decided to stop in while exploring Alexandria's brewery…read morescene, and we're glad we did. This place is much bigger than it appears from the outside. The brewery has a huge open layout with multiple levels, plenty of seating, a full kitchen, arcade games, merchandise, and lots of room to spread out. There was even a private event taking place during our visit, but the space is so large that it never affected the experience. Of course, the main reason we came was the beer. Aslin has built a strong reputation for a reason. The IPA I ordered was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for from a brewery known for hop-forward beers. We also decided to grab some food and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The pepperoni and hot honey pizza was outstanding, with a crispy crust and just the right amount of sweetness from the honey. The cheese curds were another winner and paired perfectly with the beer. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and everything felt well organized despite a steady crowd. I also appreciated the large selection of beer to-go, glassware, hats, shirts, and other brewery swag available for purchase. One thing to note: they are completely cashless, so bring a credit or debit card. Between the excellent beer, surprisingly good food, fun atmosphere, and spacious layout, Aslin ended up being one of our favorite brewery stops in Alexandria. We'd happily come back for another round of IPAs and pizza the next time we're in town.

This place is awesome for kiddos and the staff is phenomenal! Super helpful and soooo nice!…read more But let me tell you about their food menu. Best spinach artichoke dip I have ever had. Like ever. Ask my husband, I get it on almost every menu and I will dream about this one forever. The kale salad was all the right amount of texture and flavor and the hot honey pepperoni pizza was a treat. Also, I jude places on the ranch and this one absolutely passed! The sours were great. Would not recommend the wine though- the white was very full bodied and savory? lol.
