When I got here, I asked both the people behind the counter if their phone is working and neither of them seemed to care to even check as I was calling, and the phone was ringing on my end, but not on their. This place used to be my go to place but not anymore. I always get the hot honey on my turkey provolone sub for an extra charge, which i don't mind, but they didn't put it on after i adamantly told them and showed them that there was none on the sub. All I asked for was a very small side of it because there was NONE on the sub. She said it was on the lettuce but as you can see in the pic, there is none. I took a few bites to see if there was any and it wasn't. Terrible customer service! Could've just gave me a small side but wanted to keep insisting she put it on the sub. This was my first visit to this location. I love that today was Charity Day! All sales would be donated to their local charity. It was Capital Area Food Bank. There was a rep from the food bank who was taking photos of the food and the totals on the register. The staff was so eager to take and make my order. Although I only needed 2 sandwiches I felt compelled to buy additional sandwiches to give to my neighbors. I had a very yummy tuna sub with lots of lettuce and a very generous portion of tuna salad. Hubby really enjoyed his GIANT Italian sub that was loaded with meat and condiments. This will definitely be on my lunch list in the future. I love Jersey Mike's. I think that they have some of the best sandwiches that I would willingly pay for. Here I got the Philadelphia cheesesteak and it was absolutely delicious. I ended up getting the half sandwich which for me is quite a huge sandwich. They also have drinks and sides like chips which I did not get. The counter service was very good and I have no complaints. There is plenty of free parking in the lot if you would like to get it. Overall I highly recommend Jersey Mike's as a chain and I think this location is perfect. read more

These folks saved my bacon (as it were) by pitching in and moving mountains. My wife had placed an order for some boxes of subs for a senior class party at our son's high school. She sent me to pick them up an hour before the party started. But when I got there, I realized that she had under-ordered...by 75%. Our sandwiches were ready, but we really needed another 80 full-sized subs (240 5-inch sandwiches). I was freaking out, and the guy helping me was trying to figure out how many he thought they could make when the owner came out and was like, "we got this. They'll be ready by 5:00." Basically they made 80 subs in 80 minutes. I left my coolers there and shuttled back and forth from the high school to the store, picking up a few coolers worth at a time and running them to the school. The whole staff was just crushing it, making so many dang sandwiches. I'm sure it wasn't the afternoon that they imagined they would have. But their attitude and efforts were appreciated by the 300 high school seniors who got to celebrate after a pretty crummy senior year of remote learning and social distancing. Decided to give this place a try after seeing the new opening sign (plus I never actually tried a Jersey Mike's before). It's a chain which offers a choice of cold and hot subs. For the cold subs I saw them slicing the meat fresh for the sandwiches instead of having them pre-packaged like subway. I decided to go with a hot sub, (the "big kahuna cheese steak" ) which is a cheese steak with onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos and extra cheese. It came out not too long after I ordered it and was pretty decent. I can't say it was incredible or as good as let's say "taylor gourmet" but it was pretty solid. I got the 'regular' which cost $7.95 at and i'd say it was mostly filling although if you want to be full you probably want to add chips or something else. The veggies are advertised as being grown, packed, and shipped locally; so that's pretty cool! Plus, this place is generous with the meat, so get ready for some major protein! The restaurant is known for topping sandwiches "Mike's Way," which includes sliced onions, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, oregano, spices, and "The Juice," which is a mix of olive oil and red wine vinegar. As for a specific sandwich, I am a fan of their Italian sub. It has the perfect amount of meat and seasonings, tastes fresh, and a regular size is filling. Definitely NOT celiac friendly nor are they accomodating! They have no business advertising Gluten Free because they do very little to keep what goes ON the bun gluten free. When accommodations are requested they criticize you for asking! They handle and carve their meats and toppings with the same gloved hands that touch the buns. The grill is not safe either as they warm tortillas on it for wraps. When asked about it I was told that the grill temp is high enough that it shouldn't be a problem. Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a Jersey Mike's Subs. The guy starts by asking me for my order then when I start to talk he walks away and stops paying attention. Then they proceed to fuck up both of our sandwiches no apology or acknowledgement that it would be a sec. Then while we were waiting for them to apparently remake these phillys a friend of the staff walks up somehow gets his philly before us and doesn't have to pay. The young man who took our order was nice enough but the lady running the register acted as if our business was bothersome. They have the best staff - slice the meats right in front of you - and get you your food FAST. I don't know anyone that works here - so I'm not saying this because my kid works there.
