Pizza Gago catered our wedding. Not only was it unique, it was affordable. Gago was communicative…read moreand accommodating. Our vegan guests loved the vegan options. Having our guests feast on the delicious grazing board and spinach artichoke cheesecakes while the pizzas cooked was the move. I would highly recommend hiring Gago for your next event and/or trying what he has to offer at local farmers markets.

Other pizza's with loads of cheese and more dense crust can be tempting and even make my mouth a bit happy for moment but my stomach feels dense afterwards. The crust has chew and structure though not like a cracker (which was a pizza trend elsewhere that I wasn't liking but also not fond of the bread like flavorless thicker crusts (not talking deep dish which a place in Bay Area did well somehow). I forget the owner's name..begins with a P I think ....anyway very hard worker who puts his head and heart into producing his products. They do catering too..i looked it up on FB or Instagram and was amazed at how many other things he makes and how delicious it also looked. I'd give 6 stars if that was an option and they had some oregano or other herbs on the side to put on pizza if we like ...pizza places in general used to do that and haven't seen it anywhere. Oregano is easy to grow. Some might find it pricy for the lightness of the pizza so if you need a hearty meal their pizza might not do it for you. I have only had their pizza at the farmers market and it tastes so good i have to use will power not to eat the whole thing . I save half for the next day and sometimes add an egg on it for breakfast. Reheating in cast iron pan brings the crust back to life and I don't put it in the frig overnight to also keep the crust good and i turn the pizza upside down so crust not soggy but with his pizza no much chance of that cause he does some sort of dough magic that makes his crust hold and not soak up the toppings.

Caveat: I've never had Salvadoran food before. Spoiler: I loved it!…read more They may not be easy to find, not open many hours a week, but they are definitely worth the effort. It does take time (our order took about 20-25 minutes, but it sure was worth the wait. The Pupusas were amazingly delicious, and I believe like everything else, made from scratch (the pupusa shell was, too, but that was made ahead of time). So I understand it takes time. I had a Pupusa Taco (aka Pu-Taco), without cheese. The Pupusa pouch (or whatever it's actually called) has a texture and taste that I really enjoy. I shared two Empanadas, which were made of plantain, deep fried, topped with powdered sugar. One was filled with beans, the other cream. Both were way better than any donut I've ever eaten, and that says a lot - yummy! My husband loved his Pupusas, too, filled only with black beans. Two were a lot to eat, but worth every bite (according to him). Service was genuinely friendly and down-to-earth. I regret I had only this one chance to try their food. I hope I'm lucky enough to find a Salvadoran restaurant close to me, but it probably won't compare to this one. 5* (more if I could!).
