So delicious! Can to Humboldt on a day trip and needed to get some fresh seafood while I was there so we decided to check out this place. There were two guys working and they were very nice and answered our questions. The food came out pretty fast, I got the bahn mi and it was so good and fresh, my boyfriend got the tuna melt and honestly his was so good I wish I got that one (and I don't normally do tuna melts either). Since it's a food truck, there's not a lot of seating but it was in a nice and quiet parking lot and they had picnic tables if you want to sit down and enjoy your food. The bowl wasn't bad, but it was the least exciting of the things that we ordered. They have picnic tables you can eat at, though it wasn't ideal on a rainy day. Oh dear, Fish Co used to make the best Calamari I had encountered, but unfortunately they changed the preparation. Before the calamari was large meaty strips lightly breaded, with the hero being the delicious calamari. Now the calamari is cut into tiny strips with heavy breading. I'm done with this place! The food is decent but the people that work there are not. Our Order is never right and the attitude of the employees is terrible. If you don't tip them they are sarcastic and rude. I'm happy to tip (and do so with cash) if everything is as it should be. The food truck was located next to a gas station with outdoor tables to dine at. Parking is available with about 5-6 slots to park at. Despite just two people working, I'd give them credit to holding the business together. I ordered the wagyu burger with fries. With the price of being it at $14, that's pretty cheap from where I'm at. Fries were crispy and wagyu burger was alright. Family and I stopped by here after a day hiking through the Redwoods. Hubby and I enjoyed the loco tacos (fried) and chipotle tacos (grilled). Grilled fish tacos are often hit or miss (fear of overcook or under-seasoned) but this place made them right - we liked them better than the fried! Fries were addictively delicious. I'm a fan and will order fish and chips for myself too next time. Re Covid precautions, folks working the food truck wore masks. Outdoor dining available with benches nearby. Bathroom available in neighboring brewery here you can order drinks to go with your food. Hand sanitizer offered at the entrance of that establishment. Another tip: Drive to the Six Rivers brewery. Street address here is approximate and got us pretty mixed up, placing us further down the street in a pretty hairy intersection where passing cars zoom steadily by off/on a speedway.
