My 6 yrs nephew love this place which he has been many times before on family's vacation. He can have fun, play, and learn with activities that are offered on Iwa schedule. Parents can get a break from their children so they can have their own time.

Pool bracelet and kids club bracelet. Kid is ready for some fun

Aunty's Beach House aka Kids club . The entire programs is well thought out with tons of rooms of activities. Game room, computer room, Movie room and three outside playground. The outside area was completely covered with trees so no need to worry about sunburn. Each child has a Disney wristband which monitors which room they are in so staff can easily locate each child. You must sign your child in/out with your personal key card and secret password. It's open from 930am -9pm and I think capacity was 125 which was not full each time we tried. You can pay extra for lunch and dinner but we didn't use that service. Kid played all day and enjoyed a "beach party" and making Stiches Space Goo (green slime?). Plus - no extra charge for this service. It's included in the hotel stay no matter how many kids you have.

My son could not get enough of Aunty's Beach House. He wanted to eat all his meals here, hahaha. You have to make reservations for their meals and on a few occasions they were full. Meals were $10. I heard enthusiastic team members entertaining the kids in the cute outdoor play area. Inside he made arts and crafts along with a movie room and a video game room. I love that they require hand washing upon entering and all meals and snacks. The dinners are a steal compared to the pricing everywhere else at the resort.

All kids and adults must wash hands before entering

This is the real reason you want to stay at Aulani with children under 12. Drop the kids off as long as you want from 9:30-9. Our 3 and 5 year old loved coming here, and we were able to enjoy a dinner or two and some less kid-friendly adventures. The staff is very friendly and I love that everyone (kids and adults picking up children) must wash their hands. There are several free activities (building a volcano, space goo, hula) that you can sign up for in addition to all the other activities. They only let you sign up the morning of, but we had no problem getting the girls into activities if we signed them up when they open (at 8 a.m.). I'd recommend doing the open house (they usually have it around 9 in the morning). This is the only time they allow parents to come with the kids so the kids can get comfortable and figure out where the restroom is.

Aunties beach house is basically a really cool daycare center for preschool-elementary school students who are potty trained. I've heard of Aunties beach house from several people, and they all loved the place. It's a great option for parents who are looking to have some alone time. Kids love the activities here and parents can enjoy themselves without feeling guilty. What I personally loved about the beach house is that they do offer parents the chance to come here and shadow their kids. For about an hour every morning, parents with young ones can bring their kids here and play with them before it becomes a kids-only zone. As the mother of an autistic child who doesn't always listen, this was the best option for me because I didn't want to leave my son here without me. He was able to play in on the gym sets, color pictures, and even play video games. Overall, it's a great place for kids. I only wished they let parents stay with their children for more than that short time frame in the morning.

I love Aunty's Beachhouse! My daughter loves this place and wants to be here as soon as it opens until it closes at night.Sometimes we have to pry her out just to get her to eat and she wants to go back in right away LOL. All of the cast members here are very very friendly and I definitely trust them with my children. They are always willing to answer any questions or go above and beyond their duties. The kids have so much fun with all of the crafts and fun that they have here with all of the different play rooms including the outdoor tree house I can see why my daughter never wants to leave. We come every summer so I am starting to get to know all the cast members and it's really funny to see everyone year after year. All in all Disney has superior customer service again and the beach house had definitely proven that!

There's always a line in the morning and spots fill up quickly! More at: https://www.instagram.com/p/BDgdvXbmyvV/

Auntie's Beach house is really great when you can get in. They open at 8, but the line starts earlier than that = 7am, maybe even sooner. Parents want to sign their kids up for the days activities early because they fill up quickly. You can also drop kids off for free play during the day, but only if they're not full. Fortunately the day we needed to drop off our LO, they had space and she had a blast. So if you can get in, definitely use it. Kids get a wrist band that they need to wear while they're there, and can wear the whole vacation - but LO found it a little uncomfortable for her. Anyway, Auntie's is a great idea - wish it was a little more practical.

Aunty’s Beach House Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Aunty’s Beach House

Will my 4 year old have fun if she's by herself (no friends or siblings)? Does anyone have feedback dropping a solo kid off?

IMO always more fun with friends/siblings but if she doesn't experience separation anxiety, is relatively independent, and likes to explore on her own, she can have fun by herself too. There SHOULD be a cast member there to guide the children…

Are they open to the public or do you have to be a guest at Aulani?

This was our first time in Hawaii, so we figured if our hotel wasn't the best it would be ok, since we were not planning on spending much time in the hotel. It was such an amazing place and we got a great deal on it which made it even more amazing. As soon as you walk in, the front desk welcomed you, and you can tell they upkeep this hotel very well and take pride in their property. They do offer parking on the premises, however they do charge $40.00 a day, which i thought was pretty pricey but didn't have a choice we had rented a car. The girl at the front desk told us the area was safe and there is usually parking outside the hotel for free, we didnt pay for parking our whole stay! Our room was super clean , updated and super spacious! We got a call daily asking if we needed anything, you can get beach towels daily without issues as many as you like. The cook-to-order breakfast was simply AMAZING!! The food was great and the cooks are super nice and welcoming. The pool is a little on the smaller side but we didnt have the need to use it but its really nice. over all i would 100 percent stay here again. It was a wonderful experience and wonderful value! The wife and I booked two nights here, and our status with Marriott got us upgraded to a king suite with a kitchenette. The living room and kitchen area had a sofa, desk, TV, small dining table, and the full set of kitchen appliances. It was nice to have some of the comforts of home when traveling! The room was equally comfortable, the free WiFi was reliable, noise isolation was great, and shower pressure was good. The walk-in shower had a doorless design that allowed some water to splash out, but maybe that's why they give you extra towels! There's a pool (with complimentary towels to borrow) and a fitness center. The fitness center is a cut above most with several cardio machines, a rower, a cable weight station, free weights, and more. The complimentary continental breakfast has a reasonable selection of items like scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, rice, pastries, cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice. The breakfast was on point! The eggs were made well, there were several toppings for the oatmeal including nuts and dried fruit, and it was nice to have rice as an option. Our stay here set the bar high, and I missed that "home away from home" feeling during the rest of our trip when we were at a hotel in Waikiki that wasn't as nice!

We stayed in Waikiki for part of our trip but then came here for our last part to celebrate our daughters birthday. Best choice of the whole trip. We were told our room wouldn't be ready until 4PM, but Disney magic it was ready at 12pm. Which was amazing with toddlers. The attractions, there are so many pools to choose from, the lazy river is amazing, the slides were so fun! The attention to detail everywhere is so Disney but with a Hawaiian feel. It was great to be able to get towel service anywhere, there are beach toys, life vests available all free. We didn't have a hard time finding chairs. Theres some good quick food service options near the pool. We ordered a bit of everything and it was all good for pool service food. The kids loved the Disney Mickey ears shaved ice. We did a paddle board rental and the bay was so calm, clear and amazing, it was beautiful to see the bay from the kind of view and experience. We did the Character breakfast dining and that was so fun for the kids to see all the Characters come through, the food was plenty. They have photos with Mickey before and you can buy all the photos and a print out for a packaged price. The characters came by and visited with the kids it was so adorable. The servers were so sweet and amazing like a true Auntie. The kids had so much fun at all the meet and greets with the Characters. Moana and Stitch were of course the island favorite and highlight. We took advantage and took lots of photos with the photo passes and had to buy the packages because what sweet memories. Self parking was very close and in a garage so it was great for us with the car rental that we had. The valet/car staff were amazing as well, they were accommodating and helped with all the bags. Bell hop was exceptional here as well, so helpful and friendly. The room itself was cute, there was a kitchenette but we didn't take advantage of it. The bathroom was a good size and had everything you needed including liquid hand soap. The room was a decent size, but the bed was a bit smaller than we are used to, it was a full rather than a queen or king. The kids pull out sofa was much bigger, but we didn't spend much time in the room. The attention to detail was great, there was room to store your bags under the bed. We had a wonderful view of the garden/pool. Great for pictures. Mickey and friends called to tell my daughter happy birthday. Overall the experience was so memorable for our family. I was tempted to sign up to be a DVC member but we don't go to Hawaii often enough to make it worth it. But by far the most beautiful Disney resort we have been too. We love DisneyWorld but this was a different Island feel. Of course we went to the gift shop too because it was a must and had special Disney Aulani items only! The lounge they had for guest use on the day of check out was amazing feature on our last day when we were flying home. We were able to use the pool and all the amenities and then shower and refresh before out 8 hour flight home.

However, the resort pricing overall food value was disappointing. At check-in guest are giving a discount card for 10% of Off at the Market and certain resort locations, which is appreciated. However, if you forget the card in your room while heading to the pool or Beach, you were simply out of luck since purchases can be charged directly to the room, it seems like the discount should automatically apply to the guest account instead of requiring a physical card. The 10% discount definitely helps because Hawaii is already expensive but the price is at the market and eateries felt excessive. For example we had 6 drinks and two orders of fish and chips at Long boards and the bill was $171. Unfortunately food felt like it mediocre pub food, which made the cost even harder to justify.
