The lack of communication and not being willing to discuss why the repairs did not last is not professional. My messages were polite and patient, but I was not treated with the courtesy of any reply. I wish they had told me up front that the repairs might not last. They should have made the effort to respond (at minimum) and/or try the repairs again to stand behind their services.
