Top notch!! My blue 2017 Tesla X is only 3 years old. But, the previous owners must not have known what wax was and used dirty salt impregnated automatic car washes to clean the car. It didn't just have swirl marks, but deep scratches all over. Looked horrible in the sun. It took a 3 stage paint correction which they completed in a little over 5 hours. It looks like it can off of the assembly line. Unbelievable how great it looks and I am super particular about my car paint.This is the third time I've used this amazing team, twice on my F250 ans now my Tesla, and the results each time are unmatched. He cancelled one appointment time he chose, and then stood me up on the replacement appointment time he asked if he could come then instead. He even confirmed the time and date a day or two before. Then the day of the appointment - no call, no apology, nothing, just crickets. My call to him asking if he was coming to do the job or not went to voicemail. I had a very last minute request as I had just found out on a Thursday I was the designated driver for a girl's weekend trip to Gold Country. I so rarely drive these days, and do not keep the car in the garage, so the car was filthy. The outside looked awful too. Alex was able to come out the next morning-thank goodness. So, its time to sell my car and its thrashed after a season of tball coaching for my kids. Its been two months since I've even washed the thing, ... and as far as vacuuming? Can't remember when. I could take the car in for a typical car wash with some basic shampooing, vacuum, wax sort of thing, ... but really, my little G35 needs a little more love than that. With my two kids frequently sitting in the back seats, there are crayon markers here and there, dirt caked up in the seat cracks, and a couple places where homework assignments have been left in the car a little too long and wound up sticking to the leather. The problem is, that I don't know anybody that does detailing. So, I go to Yelp. Not enough info to make my decision. Only one place with one short review. I turn to my backup: Craiglist. ... Dial a couple of places, ... and within thirty minutes a guy named Tim calls me back. He asks me a couple of questions, what sort of service that I'm looking for, the year make and model of my car, ... and he gives me a very fair price ($75 less than the competitors) and we coordinate our schedules. Sunday AM, he arrives with his pickup truck FULL of professional equipment. I ask him if he needs my hose. Nope. Want to use the driveway? Nope. Need some shade? Nope. He has EVERYTHING he needs in his truck ready to go. A blue tarp goes on the ground. Tim props up a professional canopy to shield him from the shade. He fires up his generator and a powerful water gun is used to start the process. .... And for the next SIX HOURS, I watch as he puts his blood, sweat, and tears in to making my car shine like it never has before. I'm not easily impressed. I tend to have a high level of expectation ... particularly when I'm paying good money. But this guy ... I kept looking at the window, shocked not only at the amount of TIME he put in, but also the relentless amount of energy! Every nook and cranny was evaluated and treated. Two, three, four times over he poured over the car. Just amazing. Three or four cars stopped throughout the day, awed by the spectical of Tim working away. He is a sight to be seen. Seriously. When you see him set up, you can't help but stop and ask ... "Whats going on over there?" ... He is just a flurry of hard work! Its instantly obvious that he is all pro material. One week after my cars were serviced by Tim, I saw him again on my block ... obviously a neighbor saw the work he had done for me and asked him back! Tim is a young college man, professional, corteous, and more than capable in every service he provides. Words are cheap, right? So let me tell you this. Normally I would just go to the car wash if I wanted to clean up my ride but I had a specific problem. I was in a slight altercation on the freeway during which a lovely young lady and I traded a full fountain soda thrown against my Lexus for a shot of pepper spray in the face. Tim and his staff are extremely professional and go above and beyond to make sure their customers are pleased with their work. Since Total Perfection comes to you, be aware that they may have to postpone if it's going to rain. Yet, they're worth the wait. I called Tim and told him what my situation was. He was very helpful and explained the steps they would take to detail the exterior of my vehicle. On the day of the detailing, two of the Total Perfection staff arrived on time at 8:30am, setup their tarp to catch all of the crud that came off my car, and got to work. So, I needed to get my filthy LR D-90 detailed. The top comes off in the summer, so it had dirt and dust in every interior crevice. Outside, it had some dried mud here and there, road salt from the mountains, and some scratches here and there. I was going to drop a couple hundred bucks at Scrub Boys to get it detailed, but it's a pain getting it there and I really wanted the stereo to still be in it when I got it back. He spent about six hours doing the detail, and I must say that it was awesome. He must have used a q-tip. I can eat off of just about any surface in or on my truck if I wanted to. Everything was done as agreed upon for the agreed upon price. I could have gone through the hassle of bringing my car somewhere else to get it detailed, but why would I when Tim came to my house, did a fantastic job, and charged a very fair price? However, he did an amazing job, and I have received so many compliments on how nice my truck looks. Tim and his partner were on the job site from 9am till 6pm, and the damage was only $275. Tim does a great job and I liked the service because it's convenient, well-priced, and, surprisingly, environmentally friendly. I called Tim because I had some surface scratches that I'd wanted touched up. After looking into paint touch up, Tim gave me an estimate that was half the price. It didn't include paint work, but I was plenty happy with the job he did buffing out the minor scratches and making the major ones much less noticeable. All this, and a wash and wax as well. What I really dig about the service is that Tim puts your car onto a mat that catches all the wash water. He then uses a wet-vac to haul it out. By doing this, all the water is prevented from heading down the storm drain where the water, soap, grease, and other pollutants typically end up polluting the river. Tim also uses a pressure washer, so the amount of water used is minimal. Overall, a thumbs up experience. I'd recommend him to everyone. read more

Searched for a car detailing service on Yelp and decided on Total Perfection based on reviews, price, convenience, variety of services, and response time to my inquiries. Had my 2008 Lexus detailed by Alex and an assistant. Alex was always quick to respond to my questions about prices and services offered before I scheduled an appointment. Alex was very accommodating on dates and times (which had to be changed on my part). Had the car detailed last week, very professional service. They were at my home before the scheduled time of 830 and stayed until 5pm working on the car the entire time. As mentioned in other reviews, they laid out a tarp and pop up tent and after the job was done it was like they were never there. I'm VERY pleased with the result. Every nook and cranny of the interior was addressed, even some dials that had gotten stuck with crud over time are working like new. The carpet work was impressive, there were coffee and grease stains that had been there for years that they were able to remove. The leather sections and seats were cleaned and back to original luster. The exterior and wheels were showroom clean and sparkling. I also ordered the headlight package, but Alex did not charge us for it because he felt it probably wasn't needed, and also that these headlights tend to be sealed well from the factory and he didn't want to create more issues later. As it turns out, the 'standard' cleaning made the headlights look brand new anyway. I appreciated his knowledge and the fact that he didn't try to overcharge me even though i ordered the add on. He could have easily billed me more and I wouldn't have known the difference because of the quality of the end result. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this service with NO RESERVATIONS.
