Today I made a trip to get tobacco at 8:26pm and was greeted by a giant neon open sign and an employee sitting outside. He said "I just mopped, it'll be 30 minutes till you're allowed in." On 4/10/26, I went to Vape Smoke Universe to purchase a mod and was also sold batteries for it. After getting home, I realized the batteries they sold me were completely incompatible with the mod. I went back to the store to fix the issue, only to find out they didn't even have the correct batteries in stock. Had I known that from the beginning, I never would've bought the mod in the first place. I then had to go back home AGAIN to grab the box to attempt a return or exchange, and made a third trip back to the store--all because of their mistake. That's three trips and a huge waste of my time. Instead of properly fixing the issue, their "solution" was to deliver the correct batteries to me later, after I'm already off work, which is incredibly inconvenient. They sold me incompatible products, caused multiple unnecessary trips, and still refused to take accountability or offer any real compensation for the inconvenience. I even tried to exchange for a different mod (with about a $60 difference in price), and they still wouldn't work with me at all. The whole situation made it feel like I was the problem, when this all started because of their error. Very disappointing experience. After being a loyal customer for years, this is how they handle things. I won't be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere.
