Stopped in for lunch while having the car serviced next door. There were a few people already seated but otherwise it was wide open. The service was good. No issues there. We had a small pizza which we shared and it came out pretty quickly and was hot out the oven. Their pizza is always consistent and over all it was good. They must have a buffet on some days and they do have plenty of tvs to watch any games. Perfect place for lunch while getting your car worked on. read more

Unfortunately, this aurelios pizza is not nearly as good as the one in Homewood.(don't forget to ask for the original oven.) This Cedar Lake Pizza is not as crispy, the cheese doesn't taste as good, and they don't add enough sauce. The people are nice, the service is fine, but I would definitely drive to Homewood to get a way better pizza! read more

Just love their pizza! The pasta is also amazing. This is one of my favorite places to eat, or order from.

Something needs to be updated on the app or in the store in regard to wait times. I'm sitting in my car waiting 45 min past the quoted wait time for my pizza. I had already pre paid unfortunately. I have no issue waiting if the prep times were accurate so I don't waste my time in my car. Last few times I've been here it's been like this. Quality is down too so it's a true disappointment. I do not plan on coming back to see if changes have been made for a long while. read more

Very consistently good pizza. Their sauce is amazing and their ingredients are always fresh and tasty. The only strike to keep them from 5 stars, is their prices are a little high for me. What did they do to their pizza? Up until July, we've had good pizzas, including gluten free. Last night we got a pizza there that was awful. The sauce on it tasted like, well, soup from a can. And the cheese (or whatever it was) looked and tasted like rubber. We won't be back. read more

This place used to be the best pizza joint around! Sadly I believe the work force is changing and this will close very soon. If you order for delivery it will be over their estimated time the food is rarely cooked all the way or is cold. It's very upsetting considering the entire family could always agree to get their pizza but we have had too many issues lately maybe we will try again after some time if they can fix how the place is ran. read more

Don't usually use this place because there's another pizza place closer but my wife just had to have Aurelio's for some reason. We used to order from here all the time because the pizza is decent but it's been a couple years since, and I forgot why we stopped. Today I was reminded. Ordered a medium pizza and 2 apps for delivery. Website says 1 hour wait for delivery. 1.5hrs go by and I call. I'm out on hold for 8 minutes to be told that the food is with the driver. Food is delivered just shy of 2 hours after ordering and I open the pizza box to see it's smashed to the lid of the box and ice cold. The apps are also ice cold. Called and got a refund. Awful experience 2 times in a row now. read more

Phones lines absolutely suck. Try to call and it won't go through. After trying 3 or 4 times it finally goes through they answer and put you on hold for 5 minutes. Hang up try again goes through after 3 times they answer the phone thanks for calling can I put you on hold I say No explain what happens and the girl says there are 3 people ahead of you and put me on hold again. Why ask if you are just going to put me on hold. Owner needs to up his phone game and spend some money. Place is backed dont so he can't say it doesn't have any. read more

I'm from Chicago and you really can't find anything like Chicago Pizza! When you want great pizza, Chicago is the best! Sorry Aurelio's.......the pizza wasn't very cheesy, the crust tasted like hard tack, it just wasn't very good pizza. The bottom line is I wasn't a big fan, sorry! While the original Aurelio's Pizza was in Homewood IL, that pizza was superb! Lots of wonderful mozzarella cheese and other fine ingredients. When you become a chain, you lose some of your individuality and perfection. However, that does not mean that Aurelio's, the chain of pizza parlors is bad. It's different than it was originally meant to be. Aurelio's is a great place to enjoy excellent pizza! I found this pizza to be very good. We loved the pizza. It was a tad salty but not overly salty. Definitely NOT greasy. as I have previously read posted. Our service was extraordinary. Our female server was responsive, came with refills for our iced teas and was bubbly and friendly. We were most pleased with the quality of our pizza and ravioli as well as the service we received. Definitely would return! Very pleased! I highly recommend this Aurelio's location! read more

Standard family pizza place. Casual no frills family oriented dining. The menu is large with many options. For the first time I think the gluten free pizza was actually better. They use a deeper dish dough, that was not chalkboard thin or dry. It also did not fall apart and held together so you could eat the pizza by hand. I had the Hawaiian which was tasty and went well with their pizza sauce. The pizza sauce has a sweet tangy flavor to it. My husband had a bite of the gluten free and said it was one of the better gluten free pizzas he has had, but that the normal pizza was just so - so. read more

I haven't been a fan of Aurelio's Pizza for years. Other then the one in Homewood, they all seemed to have lost the recipe for good pizza, service and cleanliness. So, for some reason, I decided to give the new Aurelio's in Cedar Lake a try while I was in the area. Wow, it was like the good old days. The pizza was perfect and very good. Service was great and the place was totally remodeled so it was very clean. If I wanted to complain about anything, it would be the noise level. But that's only because everybody was having a good time and there were a few birthday parties. Can't complain about that! Parking could be better. Only three parking spots in front so you have to park behind the building and walk around to the front to enter. In the cold and snow it wasn't very good. Keep up the good work guys. I use to goto this place as a kid! Went back to visit family. We had to stop in and see if it still tasted the same. It did! Loved the mozzarella sticks. Our server was sweet and had a cool accent. To top it off they had $2 IPAs. Was nice to feel at home again. read more

Went with friends today to check-out their new lunch buffet (Mon thru Fri 11am - 2pm $9.00 plus drink). Pizza was as good as I remember from the Homewood and old Beecher locations. 4 kinds of pizza, salad bar, mostaciolli, garlic bread, fried chicken, dinner fries, and Italian beef sandwiches. Also (very sweet) apple pie pizza for dessert. Considering the quality of other pizza joints in the area, this place will be favorite for us. They serve beer and wine, but have no bar so it's a good place to go with kids, unlike the Zuni's that was formerly in this location. Back then the obnoxious and loud drunks at the bar chased away anyone with kids or wanted a quiet evening with conversation. read more

Tried the online order. It said an hour for delivery. An hour and 20 minutes later I called and they couldn't tell me if my pizza was out for delivery, in the oven or not even made. A manager got on the phone was still struggling to find information on my order. He finally said it was out for delivery and it should be there within half an hour. He did give me half off my order and delivery driver was very apologetic. Which is why the 2 stars. read more

I don't know how anyone says this tastes or looks like Aurelio's Pizza. Got one today and it was so greasy and salty. I had to sponge the grease off with paper towels. Absolutely disgusting. I've been a customer of Aurelio's for over 20 years. I will say that the Homewood location bar none is THE best Aurelios. The manager did give us a credit for next time but very unsure if we will use it. $17 down the drain. read more

Always great. Always friendly. I loved the Homewood Aurelio's growing up and wasn't a fan of Beecher's Aurelio's. I am always very pleased with the experience at Cedar Lake's Aurelio's. The food is exactly like Homewood, I'd go as far as even arguing better. The stuffed pizza is my personal favorite from here. Perfection. And to top it off, the service is amazing: very helpful, never a long wait, and friendly. I love coming back. I definitely recommend this location to anyone and everyone. read more
