This place is under new management. The family that is running it now (hold on... don't you love that? A family owned business) is making sure that the food is tasty, plentiful, well priced, and that service is top notch. I was very impressed with the waiting staff and the kitchen because they send the food out quickly even though the place was packed to the brim. You only find locals here. This diner is in an industrial area but everything is nice and dandy.

The breakfasts and lunches I've had tasted great. Quick service. Good portions as well.

NO iceburg here, but great leafy greens!! Chicken isn't just thrown on a grill, but has gentle amount of seasoning on it. PERFECT

I love coming here for breakfast and lunch. Portions are perfect and quality to match. Mike, the owner runs the grill to perfection and the waitresses have perfect memories. I first stopped in one day and asked for a egg bacon cheese with onions and hot sauce. 2 days later I stopped by and was thinking of what to get and one of them asked if I wanted what I had before. Amazing.

Decided to give this place a try after hearing a lot of good things about it. Staff was very attentive and service was nice and quick. Good coffee also. I would definitely come back again. Very generous portions at a fair price!

OMG! that's all I can say. The food is AMAZING. Super busy place mainly because work that. Small, cozy and cute. Staff are friendly and busy. Definitely will drive up from NYC just to eat here again.

Great food and big servings. Staff was awesome and the place had that at home feel to it. Didn't see till was driving away but they have a cute outside area for outdoor dining.

"Consistently Average" My wife likes going to Aurora for breakfast because it's always consistent. You know you'll get a decent breakfast there. It's not the best, but certainly not the worst. The restaurant is always clean and the owner and staff are friendly. My wife is a creature of habit and loves to get an omelet filled with sausage, tomato, and cheese and served with rye toast and crispy home fries. I had breakfast from the specials menu. The philly steak omelet with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese with rye toast and home fries. It wasn't great, but it was good. I wouldn't recommend Aurora as if it was on my favorites list. But if someone said they were going there, I wouldn't deter them either.

Food is good diner food, I've only had the take out in the past years. Will dine in again and waitresses are nice.

Initially, we were meant to be twelve people, so they asked for a $200 deposit with our reservation, which was later applied to our bill. A coworker who comes here often recommended it. I started with a blueberry almond mocktail. It was tasty, but a bit too sweet for my liking. My coworkers tried some of their holiday-themed drinks and had no complaints. We shared some appetizers, and my favorites were the common way calamari and the burrata. For my main course, I had the blackened fish tacos. Honestly, it was missing some acidity and flavor. The chicken fried sandwich was a big hit, and the short rib sandwich was also really good from what I heard from my colleagues. Overall, the experience of dining with such a big group was fantastic. Our server was attentive and checked on us multiple times. I'm definitely planning to stop by after work sometime to try their dinner menu.

Everything was very clean. Parking was a bit of a struggle - there was street parking above, below, and across, and a huge lot in the back. The menu looked pretty good so we started with some apps. Beer cheese- definitely a different twist than I expected but it was great. Very flavorful, really beer forward. The bruschetta was ridiculously amazing!! The cucumber salsa was missing something but ok, needed some acid or heat. My disappointment started when they brought out our meal, (we still had two apps to go, I hate my meal coming out with or before the rest of our apps. I had the hot honey chicken and NE Clam chowder. The chowder was brown and was not what I was looking for, I packaged up to go. It was primarily the brown I assume the roux went farther than it should have or there is something else in it.. The hot honey chicken was ok, the chicken was paper thin , tasted mostly arugula no heat, no sweet... I'd switch out the bread for a roll next time and douse it with hot sauce. The cottage fries are out of this world and I would come back for beverages and those!! My partner had the biria sandwich which was fire, also had a salad which was really good as well. The cookies are really amazing! Actual Dessert- I am struggling with we opted for the Chocolate cake which was literally melting- did not think it was ice cream so not sure why we had a puddle in a box when we got home. I want to try other things, as we had some good and some not so good, so we'll be back and update again after another try.

Brass Works Brewing Company is a craft brewery that opened in Waterbury, Connecticut in December…read more2015. It was founded by brothers Michael and David Ieronimo and their partners Christopher Urban and Kyle Ondrush. The two brothers started out as homebrewers in their mother's kitchen in the late 1980s. By 2004, David's brother-in-law Christopher and Michael's co-worker Kyle had also come into the fold. The four formed a homebrew club and brewed together out of a garage. The homebrew club evolved into a homebrewing obsession and the next logical step was starting their own brewery. They chose the name "Brass Works" as a reference to "The Brass City": the official nickname of the city of Waterbury. Kyle retired from the brewery in 2021, but the other three partners still continue to share their passion for good beer. I first visited Brass Works in June 2016. I was driving around the state visiting some breweries that were new to me. The interior of the taproom was really nice; lots of neat decorations. During my stay, I ordered a sampler flight of five beers which included: "Wee Windy English Bitter Ale", "Sweaty Sisters Blonde Ale", "Abel Porter", "Uncle Zac's Stout", and "Double Bird IPA". The latter was my favorite of the bunch; great notes of Amarillo hops! I ended up purchasing a growler of that one to bring home. Keep up the good work gentlemen!

Ordered and food delivered within 10 minutes, granted it was off hours, but we were pleased. My partner & I ordered some things to share. Buffalo wings were exceptional-crispy and a nice spice that had just the right amount of bite. Figgy Piggy with a burger. Insanely tasty. Burger cooked to perfection, fig jam gave it a nice sweetness, the bacon was really crispy, and the sourdough was perfect. Served with house made fries/chips that were a great accompaniment. Meatballs, where do I begin? First, we had to take them to go because we were already too full. 3 large meatballs in a cute cast iron skillet with a generous amount of marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. Served with 3 giant wedges of pizza to sop up that sauce or make a lil sandwich. Delicious, every last morsel. Highly recommend. The inside is large ! They accept reservations which is great. The restaurant is lit nicely and dining room is clean. In this past visit the waitress did not introduce herself, ask if we need help on the menu or welcome us to the restaurant. I would say the waitress was the only disappointment that night, especially getting our check before asking if we wanted anything else. Moving onto the food- claps for the chef !!! The appetizer of crispy Brussels sprouts was the best choice! Perfectly crisp but not burnt. Hot honey, soft/mild goat cheese, crispy bacon.. you just can't stop eating it. I went with the lemon shrimp pasta and it did not disappoint!! Just enough cream with a hint of lemon that wasn't overpowering. The shrimp were large and succulent. Plus the fresh pasta-ahhh so good I was saying mhmmm every bite!! My friend got the sweet heat pizza on a cauliflower crust. She enjoyed it but criticized that the crust was not evenly crunchy and there was a lot of flop. The spice level was on point though. We both had cheesecakes which were good. Not the best I had but good to finish with a nice dessert. The drinks were worth every penny!! I gave it 4 stars because of the service that night between dirty dishes not being removed from our table, to not being checked upon to finally getting a check without being asked if we want anything else. Had service gone better I would definitely give them 5 stars. The food really is high quality!
