Not happy at all!!! Yesterday..yesterday is when I received my vehicle back after it was with the service department for over a month! Yes they had it from Sept 25th until Nov 3rd.I'll try to summarize but I didn't enjoy my experience with Austin Infiniti's Service department. I took my SUV in for a simple battery change on Sept 21. They changed the battery but when I went to leave, l discovered that they shattered my windshield. No joke. Not sure how they missed it or how they did it.They said that they would take care of it but it would take a couple days to complete. Few days later I was told it was ready but when I went to pick it up, the work was horrible. Completely unaccceptable, so I didn't accept it. It had the wrong bulky, weather stripping installed and it looked very wavy as if my car had eyebrows and it was making an angry face emoji. They agreed that the work was not to Infiniti's standard and they would correct it. 2 additional windshields later(1 arrived wrong type and another arrived cracked) and now we are here, Nov 3rd. To top it all off, when we went to get in the vehicle to leave, it wouldn't start due to the new battery needed to be jump started. SMH. I promise I can't make this up. During the whole process , I only spoke with a manager once, and that was early on, when he was checking that my windshield wasn't cracked when I brought it in. of course I asked several times but they seemed to never be available. I have now purchased three cars from this dealership and I cannot say enough good things about them. Everybody there, from the receptionist, to the salespeople, to the service center staff, to the design center women, to the finance guys are SO fantastic. I feel at home in that dealership... and that's not EVER something I thought I would say about a car dealership. The used car market is out of control right now and I am embarrassed to admit that I totalled two cars last year. The second time I did not think I would be able to find an Infiniti I could afford. My salesman, Allen, would NOT accept this, refused to give up and was indeed able to find me exactly what I needed, in my price range. He even made sure I was first in line when a car that fit my needs came in at the end of the day and had me driving off in it the following afternoon. Here it is a year later and my car needs some work. When I got to the service center, I spoke with Monty and he told me they are so busy they can't diagnose cars for 5-7 days and have no loaners until December. He was SO apologetic, as if he was personally responsible for this fact.... yeah right!! I have to drive 100 miles/day, so I CANNOT be without a car and was freaking out. Monty went to see if he could work some magic for me and was able to find me a loaner within 15 minutes! They have earned my loyalty for life many times over. I took my vehicle in 5/14 for an oil change and to have front tire looked at for nail puncture. I was up sold on a new tire because "unrepairable damage" and an alignment I didn't need when I arrived. I picked up car next day and is not driving correctly. I brought back immediately and have been jumping through hoops to have repaired since. Their shop foreman "didnt have time to talk" when I tried describing the way vehicle was driving after pick up. I was told "maybe I was used to driving my wife's car." No responsibility taken, only excuses and blaming on "worn tires, we don't know how car was driving before, driving like 100k mike car." They did put me in a loaner while searching for the issue- the first loaner was a dirty, I brought back to swap for something comparable to my car while they've continued working in my car. They are standing by "no problem has been found and issue is my tires" I don't agree since we've drove car with 4 new tires and still not normal. Their service had been mostly good, considering all, until I was reprimanded for needing to "take responsibility for my Vehicle" implying I was being opportunistic or wanting more than my car back in the condition I gave to them, and threatening to "call authorities" and back charge me for loaner they gave me while trying to fix damages. I am not an expert mechanic, I have trusted this establishment with my vehicle and it has been stolen. I am now taking vehicle to second mechanic to have diagnosed for them to repair. Beware, if shop screws up, they all speak same language on covering their own and is hard to hold accountable. All I want is my car to be back in good driving condition like it was when I dropped off. The facts: My car was driving fine before being brought in for just an oil change I was given an alignment I didn't need before I came in - their computers say otherwise... My car is not driving correctly upon pick up After trouble shooting no responsibility for damages and left on my own to cross check and bring back Inappropriate text messages from Bobby Davis I have video documenting every interaction They've stolen my joy for Infiniti. After holding them accountable I'll most likely end up selling to avoid doing business with Continental and take my business back to Sewell in Dallas. Chris Corn is back at Austin Infiniti ("AI"), and he did it AGAIN! This is our 3rd pre-owned vehicle purchase. It was time to replace the vehicle we bought from AI in 2015 (we prefer to replace vehicles before big $ maintenance/repairs occur). Chris, my "car realtor," was put to task to save the trouble of research that I previously did myself. Since pre-owned vehicles sold at AI bear their brand (license plate border), they MUST pass THEIR standards to be for sale on their lot. The last 2 vehicles we bought were from Chris Corn/AI and have been everything a car-buyer expects/"hopes" (which can be a gamble with pre-owned vehicles; and oh, I have stories about other dealership-listed vehicles that presented one way, but in actuality they were bad). Chris was SO thoughtful in his selections. Having come to know us, he chose a range to honor past financial "crunch times," while offering/tempting us (yes, he IS a car salesman!) with newer/more upscale makes/models. We are SO excited about our selection: This post is 9 months after our purchase, and we're still as ecstatic about this purchase as the day we bought it! We financed: AI makes it work (I assume most dealerships do). We added some extras (extended the warranty - newer vehicle, added interior protection - kids!, and window tint - a "must" in TX, Lol!) - pleasant experience, and it was made to still fit in our budget. Our purchase was on a Saturday, and we had to contact our bank: They were patient and had a P.Terry's truck on-site providing free meals for an "end of month" sales celebration (in our past visits, their in-house "bistro" is also quite nice). I even picked up burgers for the kids at home, lol! Personally, I don't really care for the car-buying experience. I bought my QX60 from this place 8 years ago. The purchase process was really good, better than other places I've been to (not infiniti). But that's a one time thing. This review is for their service folks. It's not unusual to have a good experience at a service center. Having a consistently good experience every single time for 8 years - that's something else! The advisors are awesome, the techs have never made a mistake that needed me to come back to have something re-checked, the waiting area is awesome. If you ever wait too long outside the advisors offices, you can almost guarantee the manager will come out of his office to ask to help. They do loaners and if they don't have one they just pay for a Lyft ride. I can't praise these guys enough. They do an outstanding job! read more

To start off, I had a really nice service guy named Treyvor that was very helpful and kind. However, when I did pick my personal vehicle back up, my personal items that were left inside my truck under their care, were completely all over the place. The items in my back console area that you lift up were all out and on my back seat. Everything that was in my cup holder area was out on my passenger seat. And lastly, everything that was inside my front console area was completely tassed around and gone thru. After thorough inspection, I found that I am missing headphones from my back console area and from the front console, I am missing a small wallet that was left there. I called the dealership back to make them aware of my experience and they quickly mentioned that they have had issues with the homeless rummaging thru certain cars. I asked how they would get in my car....wouldnt my car be locked if left on your lot?? They said it could have possibly been an oversight on their end. I asked if I was the only person this has happened to and they said I am not. It caught my attention that the individual I spoke with never offered for me to speak with a manager....they just asked for the dollar amount that I think i am missing and an itemized list of any other items etc. I asked to speak with a manager and they told me the manager was on the phone. So i asked that the mgr call me back. When they called back, I spoke of my experience again and they confirmed again, that this has happened to other customers...matter of fact, they said a couple days prior, another customer had their car broken into while in their service care. So this is a PROBLEM with this dealership that has yet to be fixed!??!?! An explanation is deserved as to how and why our cars could get tanpered with if they are locked etc??? That question never really got answered for me. I am awaiting resolution at this moment, but wanted to make this news public just in case this happened to anyone else at the Austin Infiniti Dealership on Burnet Rd. This is a big deal to me and a huge problem!! I will return here with a follow-up of my current situation and how Infiniti is handling their customers that have experienced such unacceptable loss. Seemed very strange that they quickly just wanted a dollar amount so this can be brushed under the carpet quickly...but how are they protecting other customers around this issue?? I recently purchased my 2015 QX80 from Austin Infiniti and I was very satisfied with my experience. I recently fractured my ankle and I'm unable to get around very much. When I inquired about the vehicle I wanted to purchase, that I seen online I was impressed by the quick response from Sam my sales person. I'm a little lax in posting this, but back in March, I brought my Infiniti in for a fan repair and a cabin air filter replacement. Everything went well regarding the repair, though with a curious glitch: Before I left, I found the old, dirty air filter sitting on my passenger seat! Uh...gee, thanks. I guess *I'm* supposed to put this in the garbage when I get home? I suppose the next time I come in, I could bring the contents of one of my office wastebaskets in trade. 'Hey, guys, do me a favor and throw this out for me while I'm here.' I turned around and brought this back to one of their service desks, which they accepted with slight embarrassment. I'm scheduled to go back in April to get new tires. Hope they don't send one of the old, worn-down tires home with me. Incredible customer service @MauriceDancy; on April 27 2021 I traded in my Infiniti FX 37 Sport and purchased at QX50 (I thought Luxe) but was a Pure from another dealership. It was beautiful but that is it. I greatly disliked this 4cylinder 2.0. On May 25 my husband and I went to Austin Infiniti and met Maurice; he showed us a few vehicles and then I wandered over to the QX60 and I was sold. Maurice never felt like a salesperson to me he was up front and honest and even educated us on a few car buying practices. On Thursday, May 27 exactly one month after purchasing the QX50, we became the proud owners of a 2020 Certified Preowned QX60 Luxe AWD. Initially, I wanted to give this 1 star but I waited four months to do this review to express my honest feeling and hopefully help others that are looking for a dealership. First off, I want to start off with the finance department with David; it was fast and easy transaction, very straightforward and tell you how it is. Infiniti offers very competitive rates comparing to other banks. They was able to gave me the best rate on the market and beat the competitor. +1 for that. Secondly, Alex the shuttle service and front desk are very friendly and helpful! Alex arrived on time and even waited to pick me up from work. +1 for that as well. Lastly, the car. I recently bought a G37 IPL and it's my dream car that I never thought I could find. I had been searching for this particular model for almost 2 years. (Manual transmission/red interior) Once I saw the car, it was meant to be and it was love at first sight. The car was everything I ever wanted. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was the lack of communication and genuine feeling from my salesman. My salesman, Matthew made me feel unwanted and seem like he did not want my business. I felt as if I was being judged due to my age range since I'm in my mid 20's & it seems as if I can't afford a car to him. I felt like I was wasting his time every minute I tried to negotiate with him. It got to the point where I have to changed to a different salesman, Tony. He was helpful but again, I felt as if I was being judged by how my appearance was to them and how my wallet wasn't big enough to buy this "luxury" car. This is my fifth time buying a car and I have never experienced this type of judgement. As well as being unwanted. This car buying experience made my passion for Infiniti deteriorate. I'm huge fan of Infiniti that own both of the G35 and G37 but now it's just sad that something that I love will no longer be the same... In conclusion, will I buy from this dealership again? Update to my review: The dealership picked up the car and left us with a loaner at no expense to us. They found that the new starter they'd put on in June -- failed. So they installed a new one as well as the components that melted due to the low grade fire. Because we've had so many issues with this car they offered to let us trade it in at a little bit above trade-in value and they offered to sell us a car on their lot or from Subaru (owned by same Group) at a great price. Unfortunately none of the cars they have at the moment will work for us as we need to be able to tow our RV, so they sent me details in writing saying they will honor their offer if and when they do have a vehicle we could trade-in for. Peyman Kargar referred me to his #1, who then referred me to one of their consumer affairs reps. Jeff Pope referred me to same rep. She worked with the dealership and looked into extending the after market warranty I purchased with the vehicle. Because it is not an Infiniti warranty, she was unable to extend it, so she informed me that to make up for all the time we've spent dealing with these issues, Infiniti is mailing me a check for 4 months of my car payments. I still am worried about this vehicle and my husband is afraid it's going to catch on fire on the highway, but I appreciate the offer made by the dealership and the restitution made by the company. As soon as I receive the check, I'll apply it to the current loan, to make sure that when there is a vehicle we can trade this in for, we won't be underwater on the loan amount. .................................................................................... It was in need of repair exactly the next day, requiring a new Catalytic converter. Within 28 days, brakes needed repair. On June 28th, it broke down in the HEB parking lot in Kyle, TX, requiring us to have it towed, because the starter failed. We had it towed because the dealership told us they could not do that. About a month ago it wouldn't start outside my husband's clinic, your team towed it (lo and behold, it IS possible for the dealership to tow it), and said the battery had a crack in it. Your service manager, Dave Hendricks, has been helpful and took care of the 4th issue we'd had with this car. Tonight, on my husband's way home from work, the engine began spewing a metallic, burning smoke out of the hood into the air and into the car. He quickly parked the car once he made it home, and then it wouldn't start again. We had to physically push the car, which as you know weighs at least 5,679 lbs., up a slight incline, so that we could get my car out of the barn so that he has transportation to work tomorrow. I left a message for Mr. Hendricks, demanding that Infiniti retrieve this vehicle from our home tomorrow. What I can't wrap my head around is how you conducted a 167 point inspection and didn't find any of these issues. We have owned the vehicle for all of 6 months, and this is the 5th major problem that has occurred. Not only that, but my husband drives this vehicle a couple times a month to rural towns, up to 3.5 hours away, so he can work an ER shift. As these small town hospitals have only one ER doctor at a time, if he breaks down on the road, the hospital would have to shut down the ER. In normal times this would be a major issue, but during a pandemic, it's even more critical. What will you do to remedy this situation? At this point, I need you to replace the vehicle itself. This is completely unacceptable for any auto brand, much less a luxury brand. We specifically purchased a used luxery brand rather than buying a new non-luxury brand because of the reputation. Our sales agent expressed the hope that we'd be Infinti clients for life and that I'd trade-in my 2012 Lexus for an Infiniti. I purchased my used Lexus 2 years ago and have never had one single issue, so suffice it to say, at this point, I don't plan on owning an Infiniti EVER AGAIN. Personally, I feel that taking advantage of an older woman not knowing how to go about buying a car is a disgrace. Taking advantage of anyone is BTW. I did months of research but buying a car isn't easy. No, they did not put a gun to my head, but I thought bc of the CAG name I could trust them. Ok, I'm to blame... I did not get to TEST DRIVE before buying because they said IF I DIDN'T HURRY & BUY "someone was in the next office ready to sign" (& I was already w/out a car for 3 weeks, no pressure) & that's "all they had & best they were going to find" (I guess they forgot they could look online at their sister dealership's inventory). I'm not saying I wouldn't have chosen the car after a test drive...yes I am! It's beautiful & luxurious but I hate this car. It was not what I would have picked. Ok, still my fault. I called after 5 days of trying to make it work for me & they said "TOO LATE". I even offered for them to keep their commission!!!!They made $8000 off of me. Yes, $8K. You'd think they could have given me a break & traded me into something else. Nope. They said it was the best car/deal/price/etc., I would b able to get in the lack-of-cars economy. Little did I know THE EXACT CAR I wanted was in their sister dealership at the same time (but then they would have to split the $$). I didn't get any help/instructions b4 or after (I've since found out they have someone specifically to show u all the hi tech gadgets that r completely out of my wheel house). Wasn't told of any "perks" they claim to offer for buying thru them either. They showed me the car while being detailed w/the trunk open; said it had been reported as having an accident but "they couldn't see where it happened...it's just perfect". I saw it--after better inspection over the next few days that the trunk is misaligned. It works sometimes, sometimes not. Haven't been in a down pour yet... They said everything was new (ie: tires, oil, brakes, etc) NOT TRUE. I've had a blow out, need to have oil change, do brakes, & have only put 2000 miles on it. Of course I am trading it in (w/a loss & a lot of wasted time). This experience has truly been a black hole for me like I've never dealt with in my life. read more

So I have an FX35 that started getting the bubbling problem on the dash and took it in to get replaced for free (since Infiniti did an extended warranty due to this problem). I got in contact with Steve Donovan and he got me set up and ready to go. I came in at my appt time, dropped off my car, and left with a loaner. Steve updated me on the progress throughout the day and made everything very easy and smooth. I came in the next morning to pick up my car, had some breakfast in the cafe while they were doing some finishing touches, and was on my way. I had an excellent experience and they even looked at other stuff not related to the dash replacement such as my fluid levels, a license plate light that was out, and some other stuff. The service here was excellent and I would definitely recommend bringing your Infiniti here. read more

A good place to wait for your car to have oil service with a good coffee and excellent customer service

As I type this, I'm on the access road to Mopac in a broken down, Leased (from Austin Infiniti) 2019 QX60 with about 12,000 miles on it. Since June of last year, it's had continuous problems from annoying (can't control the radio) to horribly inconvenient (driving to work in sub 32 degree weather with the window down because it won't roll up) to very dangerous - the car shuts off while driving on the highway. The car won't start. The car won't accelerate - leaving me in the middle of the road and unable to go anywhere faster than 5 mph. This week's problem is that the gas gages don't work (again) and when my car said I had a half a tank of gas, I'm guessing it's empty right now. Am I embarrassed I didn't ask myself when the last time I filled up was? Yes. Am I angry that I've taken the car in 3 times and they keep giving it back to me saying there is nothing wrong? Absolutely. They've gone as far as yelling at me that I "don't care about other people" because I have the audacity to think I deserve a loaner car above people who need an oil change, to hanging up on me, to lying that the check engine light has never come on, so they're not even being nice about this problem. I'll spare everyone the the ranting nitty-gritty complaints (of which there are many). I've asked the sales person for help. I've had it escalated to the lead technician. I'm so frustrated and I don't know what else to do, especially considering the persistent problem of getting them to even call me back. read more

After the worst experience up the street, they were able to seal the deal in 10 minutes (10 minutes before they close mind you) by whipping up temp tags and letting us test drive a G50 for the weekend. Not only did they match us on price and an old, outdated lease incentive - they made sure to upgrade the vehicle to include a Bluetooth package (all free of charge). I haven't had much experience with service yet since my car is fairly new but a couple of gripes - although mainly with car not service department. My one gripe with service dept is their " express " service for oil changes, etc.. every time I call it's an hour and a half wait - sorry but that is not "express"! Biggest complaint is the car itself. I have the QX50 and overall it's a nice vehicle but I wish I would have stuck with my Jeep Grand Cherokee and will go back to it most likely when this lease is over. The QX50 is pretty squirrelly when you step on it which is a function of the turbo and front wheel drive I believe. Also, from a service point of view it's a royal pain in the rear. I'm kind of stuck with going to the dealer for oil changes as Jiffy Lube can't handle it apparently due to a skid plate over oil filter that's connected by a bunch of plastic snaps they are afraid they will break. Should be able to take a car pretty much anywhere for a simple oil change! Biggest complaint though is the idiotic run flat tires. I don't know how or why this trend ever started but I have a nail in the tire and it's apparently not repairable - so I get to spend about $280 to buy a new one. This happened about a year ago on my wife's Mini so I should have known better but Ive learned my lesson and will never again buy a car with run flats. They are not foolproof and both her car and mine do not have spares so I ended up having hers towed to the Mini dealer for a simple flat. Towing was covered under warranty but still took a lot of time and car was out of commission for 24 hours. Biggest fear is having a flat in the middle of nowhere! Took my car in to get a few small items fixed (one for the second time around). I bought the car 4 months before issues started happening. My thoughts are they never looked over the car to begin with before they put it on their lot. My husband did a trade, they kept my trade and said they would do a make ready detail on it. That took TWO WEEKS. Fast forward to first time car goes into the shop for start stop malfunction, car was still drivable. They kept it for a month. No updates during this time except for when we called. We had an appointment with them when we brought it in , when we would call they said the car hadn't even been looked at. So frustrating when we had an appointment. Second time took a month and a half to get my car back. They put a screw back in they had fallen out and refixed the same issue that happened before. Same thing, we had an appointment and would call and was told the car hadn't been even looked at. Granted they did give us loaners each time but the length of time that I didn't have the car that I purchased AND have been paying on the warranty that I bought is just wrong. We paid cash for this $30k vehicle. I would hope to have gotten more respect. No cute little coffee bar would make my service experience any better. read more

I had not bought a car since 2001, so needless to say the thought of buying a car, especially during Covid was daunting. I did my research and reached out to Austin Infiniti to sign up for my first test drive on a car that was posted on their site. Allen Dehoff, my assigned sales rep immediately responded and sent me a video of the car (inside and out with a narrative) that I was interested in. He then suggested, instead of waiting until Saturday for me to come in and take the test drive, that he would drive the car to my home for the test drive. That act saved me five days of waiting. I took the test drive, loved the car and the rest is history. The paper work was painless and quick. I interacted with 3 other Austin Infiniti staff (finance [Mike] and design [Stacy Soleberg]). None of the staff were pushy just professional and friendly. My experience was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL beginning with my first call! This is a classy dealership with a highly professional and friendly staff. HOWARD SHAW in New Car Sales/Leasing was truly a God send. I desperately needed a new vehicle because my car was totally TOTALED (lol). I discussed my situation, gave Howard the specifics, and he took over from there. He is the most thorough, knowledgeable, PATIENT, honest, and kind salesman that I have ever encountered. Howard has an easy-going spirit and his professionalism is unmatched. My car was fixed in 2 days and there was clear, transparent communication throughout the whole process, THANKS to MONTE! Purchased my 4th new car from Austin Infiniti a couple weeks ago, and was very pleased. This time around I did all research in advance, and after test driving, performed pretty much all negotiation/communication via email. Upon visiting again, we were in/out of the dealership in just over 2 hours (probably the fastest/easiest purchase ever). I've since had accessories installed, during which there were some scheduling complications. While a couple days late, they made every effort to take care of me during the delay - and offered to drop-off a loaner car (we didn't need one). After the work was completed, upon returning home, I found a hand-written note with an apology and a gift-card. I also later received 2 follow-up calls to confirm everything was to my satisfaction. Beyond the quality of Infiniti, the above reasons keep me coming back. read more
