Stranded at The Austin Trailer of Lights. Don't trust this company. Something was mentally wrong with the driver. He left us at the Trail of Lights after dropping us off and when we called him to pick us up, he told us his car broke down and said another driver was going to pick us up but they never showed up. This was for Prom. Once in a lifetime prom. We clicked the button for 'request and book' for a Sprinter Limo. The pics online were great, shared them with all the teens and they were super excited. What confirmation did we get? A 'Sprinter Van' which looked more like a super shuttle that would take you to the airport. No one ever contacted me that these were different vehicles. In addition, the pics on the site of the 'Sprinter Van' are under the Executive suite line ,a part of the website I never even went to. I called and explained what happened and they said they will talk to the team about it but offered me nothing. Doesn't matter as the kids were disappointed anyway and you don't get those memories back. In short: these guys are not at all representing what you think you are getting. The driver was very nice and friendly, but that's about the only positive comment I have for Austin Prestige Limo. The limo we rented was ok, but had speaker issues, we could not listen to any music without a lot of loud static. We over paid for 4 hours because we booked same day service, which I was willing to bite the bullet on, but then 3 days later, I was billed an additional $250. When I called I was told it was because we went over by 1.5 hours, but this was not the case. We were picked up a little after 6p and dropped off a little after 10p. I will never use this company again or suggest their services. If I hear anyone mentioned this company I will be sure to warn them about the shady business practices they use. I'm giving this 2 stars: 1. for the nice driver. 2. because every time a review has 1 star it is somehow immediately followed up by a 5 star review. Danny, I would like to paint the picture of our experience with your company. We called to arrange for your standard limo to hold 7 people. We requested the limo to have champaign glasses and a bottle opener in the limo. We were called later and told that we have been "upgraded" to the Hummer limo. (we did not make this request) He was to be to our place at 5pm. He arrived about 15 min late. He met my wife around the corner at our mailbox kiosk so that she could put gift bags and sparkling cider in the limo. He then drove about to the front of our house. The limo has what appears to be rust stains on the outside. The door panel and threshold is broken. He started to pull away. We asked where the glasses were. He pointed out the stack of red solo cups. NO bottle opener. So, I asked him to return to our house so I could grab glasses and an opener. He tried to make a right turn and got stuck up against a rock. He then made a left turn, went over 1 mile out of the way to "turn around." At this point, I was hanging through the window into the cab giving him directions, telling him to slow down, and kept him from going down a dead-end road, which would have been hell to get the limo out of. So, we finally made it back to our home to get the glasses and opener. This is now the second time he's been to our home. This is important later. We then headed to The Grove downtown. He said he had directions, and knew where he was going. As we approached downtown, he circled, taking us way of of the way. He then wanted to stop short about 3 blocks from the restaurant to let us out. Again, I found myself hanging through the window into the cab showing him on HIS phone where the Grove is. We finally made it to our dinner about 15 minutes late! After dinner, he picked us up, dropped the girls off at their dance, and then took us home. Arriving into our neighborhood, he drove to the mailbox kiosk to drop us off. We explained to him this was not our house, and reminded him he had been to our house twice before. He then backed up, turned onto our street, and drove passed our house. NOTE: there is only one house on the block. AND we had 6 outside lights turned on! He failed to see our home. Once again, I crawled through the window, pointing out that he drove passed our home. He then backed up, drove up over the curb! At that point, I insisted he stop the limo, and let us out. Now, after hearing this, you claim this is the standard of service Austin Prestige Limousines provides? And only want to offer us a free ride to the airport? I made a reservation one month before arriving in Austin. I also called the day before I arrive to make certain they had all my flight information since they hadn't responded when I said it to them a month previous. The day I arrive, my flight sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes before we could approach the gate. The driver said he came and we were a no-show. He never even called. I paid for a Mercedes S class and got a Cadillac. Do not use this company. They suck and they'll take your money and don't care. read more

Dont Do it! I contacted Prestige limo for a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. I had planned out an entire day and the arrival of the limo was to be the icing on the cake. Danny, the owner, assured me we would only be charge hourly and there was no fuel charge, etc. Only hourly. The surprise was somewhat foiled as the limo driver was over 30 minutes late. I had been in contact with the actual driver and told him the plan hours in advance.. When he did arrive the Car was filthy with what looked like swirled mud wipe job everywhere. It was a joke and looked ever so low end. At the first stop I asked the driver to go get it washed and he wiped it down with rags in front of the bar that we drank champagne. After our 4 hour drive about and the end of the night I tipped the idiot driver to much, but that was my fault. I checked my credit card statement 2 days later and realized they had charged me for 6 hours instead of 4. I have called them 4 times to remedy the blatant overcharge and there has been no remedy and no call back. Even Speaking to Danny the owner twice...then the last call I was told "Danny is traveling to his home country". This is now 2.5 months ongoing. So to sum up. 1. Not new or newish limos with lots of wear on the inside 2. Drivers who dont care about punctuality nor about their cars being clean. (inside was rough too with no ice) 3. Overbilling and no customer service (outside of taking credit card numbers)Dont Go with Executive Limo and spend a little more. You will be happier. read more

In the Chauffeured Transportation Industry being on-time is everything and when you hire a company "Austin Prestige Limo" and not only do they NOT SHOW UP, but I called every number I had and sent emails with NO RESPONSE, its very disheartening. Fortunately I was able to find a professional company and they saved the trip although 30 minutes late, but in the long run not my client. As I read in another review a common excuse appears to be Danny ( the Owner ) was out of country. Well Danny has never called me or even answered an email to apologize for what his company did. WARNING do not give Prestige Austin Limousine your debit card number - I was charged and then charged again after the event. We agreed on a price for a specific round trip and two days later My credit card is hit for another $195 after I paid $500 for the limo. No call no nothing. I paid a high price for inadequate service with a dangerous vehicle - one of the two passenger doors did not open from the inside. In addition the driver was late for pickup, had not checked traffic and we were nearly late to our event. Suggest using another limo service that does not make extra money charging your credit card again even after you have paid the agreed upon fee - no customer service, poor timeliness and unsafe vehicles. read more

I would not recommend this company for any event. I booked a chrysler 300 limo, or atleast that is what I was told, for a wedding. They arrived in a completely different car. I called and was told that the chrysler would be there in an hour at the first location. They did not show up. It was cold, the bride & the groom were ready to go & we were running late. I called and was told they should be there any minute. 20 min go by and still no limo. The bride & groom ended up driving themselves. I called to ask for a refund, received a not so professional answer and way of talking to a customer. Never using this company again, very disappointed. read more

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I want to start out by saying that Austin Prestige Limo was very responsive when initially booking the transportation for our wedding. However, a contract agreement means nothing to this company and they have no interest in providing customer service. On the day of our wedding the driver was 30 minutes late to pick up our guest and take them to the venue, which resulted in guest driving themselves and the rest being late to the ceremony. When I reached out to the company after, they told me that "they are not responsible for their driver being late". Not only did I have to call over 5 times to get a response, but Daniel was extremely rude and pretty much told me that no refund would be given and that the driver was late due to traffic (I looked up the traffic report for the time of pick-up, and there was no traffic). This shows me that they not only lied to me but were unwilling to accept the fact that they provided poor service. I was then told to write an email to the owner expressing my concerns, but it has been a week now with no response. I would highly advise picking a different company for your transportation, as Austin Prestige Limo legally did not follow through with the contract and will probably do the same to you. read more

All I know is they charge for the time it takes to pick you up before you are even in the limo as well as extra tip even if you have already tipped them in cash. I don't normally even do a review if its bad but be very careful with this company. When you try to call to ask about their policies the manager is always on vacation. 20% tip charged to my card after I already had tipped 20% in cash. If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is as unprofessional as it gets. I'm not convinced with the other 5 star ratings on here. The limo driver left our party at a location and it took hours to get it all sorted out - for services we booked weeks in advance (of which I have email copies of). I have called numerous times, at least 8 to speak with customer service and they refuse to call us back or communicate with us. I have also contacted the BBB in order to resolve this. I have tried to contact the company via their facebook page, contact us form on the website and phone. It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to not own up to it and ignore the customer. If you go with this business, you are really taking a chance. There are just to many other reliable car service companies in town to risk it.... As a response to Austin Prestige to my post on: 6/1/2015: I'm just replying here to the business reply to my original post. Not 100% sure if I'm doing that correctly. You replied to the wrong customer. I didn't have 12 passengers. We only had 8. Our service was not on May 19th, it was on April 25th... So, please make sure you are replying to the correct customer before accusing us of bribery. This is completely laughable and I stand by my original rating of 1 star. By the way, for anyone reading this, I have tried to contact Austin Prestige Limo on multiple occasions, and they have never, not once accepted my call, nor reached out to me. So, again, this is who you are dealing with. They don't even have enough common sense to make sure they are replying to the correct person here. We were taken downtown to the Rainey Street area, and it was so nice to not have to worry about traffic, parking, or driving after our night out. Just had our limo driver arrive to our Austin home in a town car for a planned trip for dinner and lights along the river walk in San Antonio. We have 6 people and they brought us a fucking town car!! The owner asked if I looked at the confirmation. I impolitely said I did not receive a confirmation which is why I called twice to confirm the reservation for this EXACT reason. Reserved a town car for 7:30 pm January 21. We agreed on the price and I was told gratuity was entirely up so me. The payment confirmation came the day of the reservation and a "20% standard gratuity" had already been added. That's the least of the issues. The driver called me after 7:00 and said that the car had mechanical problems and he would be about 20 minutes late. He was subsequently provided with a replacement vehicle (by his boss) but the boss failed to give the driver the key for the electronic ignition. So when the driver finally arrived at my house and he stopped the car, he couldn't restart the vehicle. So we waited for the boss to bring the car key. We were about one hour late. I sent an email to Prestige Limo later that week and never received a response - no apology, no partial refund, nothing. Definitely would not use this company again. read more

We wanted to use this company to shuttle guests for our wedding. We booked them in August for our December wedding and were quoted a great price. However, less than a month before our wedding, we got a call from them saying the employee who did our contract was not authorized to give us this price and told us it would be almost triple the price we were quoted. They were extremely rude and unprofessional and not once apologized for their mistake. I've never been more disappointed in a company. I travel often and use car services every month. I booked a Hummer limo for some special clients and it looked like something out of a movie. Dirty, old and torn up! The audio system did not work and there were no refreshments. There was nothing pretty or luxurious or even comfortable about this experience! The driver was late. They arrived early to our pick up location, the bus was very clean (all though it did not look like the one on their website, also it was described as an "all-inclusive" party bus that provided ice, water, & soda. This was not the case, I have to say I was a little disappointed by this) However, I was very impressed with their driver, David. He was very nice and professional the whole evening.
