I only give two stars because the window tint from inside the hummer Windows was in awful shape-- peeling and melted. We literally could not see out at all. Windows were also dirty. What is the point in renting a limo???? From the outside it looked fine but inside the limo was in need of some repairs -- and things that could and should be maintained . The AC was awful so we were very hot for our whole 3 hour ride. This in combination with not being able to see out was awful. For almost $500 (including the tip for the driver) , I expecting more. Terrible experience. Would not recommend using them. Booked wine trip a month and half before event after reviewing pictures on their website for limo bus and talking with them . Was told it could hold up to 24 people. Limo bus shows up on time and is nothing like they advertised on the website. About 30 years outdated(Obviously they contracted this service off). Not the limo bus advertised or even close. Hand railings barely attached to ceiling. Very unappealing and this limo bus could not hold more than 18 people as we were crammed in with 18 people. The major problem with this limo bus was that on a good day with the wind blowing behind it, the bus couldn't go more than 60 miles per hour. Heading to the Austin hill country poised a huge problem. At some moments we were doing about 20/mph up small hills. It took us over an hour and 45 minutes to get to first vineyard from Mopac and slaughter lane. Normally takes little over an hour. On a 7 hour wine trip, the speed of his limo pretty much killed the trip. We were late by 30 minutes on all three stops we made. Last stop was treaty oak distillery which takes 30 minutes to get to my house. Took us an hour to get home because of speed of limo so we were late and Austin prestige limo charged an extra hour. Best part of the trip(this a joke) was when I couldn't find the driver when we were trying to leave and found the driver wrapped up in a blanket sleeping in the back of the limo. When I called on the Monday after the event to complain, I left 3 messages over 3 days and sent 2 emails with no response. Then I get a text message from limo driver(not from Austin prestige) accusing me of not paying him for his services. I told him Austin prestige limo had been paid by my credit card. He apologized. It appears Austin prestige limo was holding his payment. So I called the driver, we talked and cleared the air. Nice guy. Explained my dissatisfaction with limo to the driver, that we paid $165/hour and definitely didn't get that with the limo. He agreed and said he only charged Austin prestige limo $100/hr plus tip and that is his normal rate. He also confirmed his bus has issues with speed and is not good in hill country. Can not go more than 60mph. Finally get a email response from owner Danny saying there is nothing they can do about our experience. It was on us since we didn't complain about limo bus in beginning. If we had complained they could have had a better one sent in 20 minutes. My question was why wasn't a better one sent in beginning. No response. Asked for refund and was told that since I didn't complain in beginning they have a no refund policy. Told Danny how am I suppose to know the limo you sent wouldn't drive at a normal speed level. They offered a free ride to the airport as a refund. What a joke. I don't expect a refund on the full the trip. The contracted limo driver did his job and provided service so he should be paid but I would like a refund of the $65/hour for the 8 hours that Austin prestige limo is going to receive for this limo event. I challenged Danny to go look at the limo bus he contracted out to me and see if he thinks it's worth $165/ hour and get back to me with his response. Obviously I know why he has not responded back to me It shows this company doesn't do its due diligence on the limo services that they contract out to clients. They will send anything out and advertise something different just to make money. Have done yearly wine trips and limo bus tours over the last 15 years. Worst experience I have had. I had booked a sedan for my 5 year old and I for this morning at 4 am for a 5:55 flight to ensure we were early and had enough time to check bags. We were ready and waiting and the driver did not show up. It wasn't until 4:10 am that we received a call from our driver that he had dropped the ball and thought our pick up time was 4:30 am and that he wouldn't be there until then. At that time in the morning we had no other options (uber isn't hanging out in Georgetown, TX, although I checked) so we waited, hoping we could get to the airport in the nick of time. Unfortunately, we were too late to check our bags, even at curbside, arriving at 5:15 am. It was imperative that we get home early today to prepare for my daughter's birthday party tomorrow! Now instead of arriving at 10:30 am back home, we won't arrive until 7 pm (!) and I am in the airport for SEVEN hours with a toddler awaiting the only flight option home today (it is spring break/Easter week after all). I am extremely disappointed and I will be up all night trying to prepare for this important day tomorrow... all because of this critical miss/oversight in a booked reservation time. Really hard to have a crabby, sleep deprived toddler amuse herself for this long at the airport. I did call the company this morning and was immediately refunded the cost of the service and both the driver and person on the phone were apologetic, but that reimbursement can never repay our time lost today and this incredible inconvenience. I have used a great deal of car services in my 18 years of business travel and have never experienced this. In retrospect, the red flag should have been that I was not given a courtesy call or email the night prior to my reservation, confirming the driver name and number and again validating the time and location. This seems fairly standard practice in the industry of how other car services operate, demonstrating professionalism and excellent customer service. I would not recommend booking with this company until they implement this practice -- please ask them-- to ensure drivers are absolutely clear on pick up times... ESPECIALLY for early morning flights! Edit added April 7 2016: Both the driver and manager contacted me directly within a few days after posting of my experience. Heartfelt regrets and a courtesy ride was offered for my next trip to Austin which was appreciated. More importantly for others, plans for an automated confirmation of driver contact information and pick up time validation is 'in the works' to be rolled out to alleviate this issue occurring again. I believe it would be beneficial for the management to post a response of how long it will realistically be before that is a reality. read more

Avoid this company. Intentionally ripped off 29 families. Large prom group of 29 was crammed into a limo bus for 26. Not what was agreed, contracted or shown on website. All bad. The bus didn't have the same features and was rented from another company. I Called Prestige and they disingenuously said that they would refund 100% if we cancelled - oh sure, 29 seniors will walk to dinner and dance. I will say the limo and service itself would rank it a 4 star, however this company will scam you behind the scenes and overcharge you for everything. Note to customers DO NOT give them your credit card over the phone. Always ask to see a bill before paying for anything. I was ordering a limo for my wedding. I needed service from Lost Pines resort just outside of Austin to downtown Austin. I was quoted 7 hours which is the exact time I used the service. When I tried to settle after the service the drive didn't provide me with a bill and said I would receive a bill from the office. Being my wedding I went with it. I also asked how tips should be handled. He claimed all tips are done by cash. So I tipped my driver for his service with 20% cash. A few days later I noticed 4 charges on my account from APL. When adding up the charges they over charges me by 2 hours and added 20% tip (which I already paid in cash). When I tried to call to speak about the over charges the manager was always on vacation (back on Tuesday- yet at lunch or had to leave come that Tuesday). I called 5 times and he was never there. The lady who works in the office said the two hours were added because lost pines was just outside of there service area and it was time added to pick me up. However, when I receive the quote they never indicated this to me. They knew exactly where they were picking me up and dropping me off, and failed to tell me they would have to charge me to pick me up. Also, the driver straight up lied about cash only tip. Don't give the driver cash!! When talking to the office lady she said that they would remove the charge but they never did. I tried argue the charges with my CC company, but since I provided them my credit card over the phone I gave the authority. They gain access to your credit card when they ask for the 100 dollar down payment "to hold the reservation"! They claim that the 100 dollars will be credited to your card. Guess what, another lie. They do not credit the 100 dollar charge to your bill. I am very serious considering taking this company to court. I've read many reviews where they continue to scam and over charge. My credit card company claimed APL was very clever with their charge codes. I bet people get burned all the time. Avoid this company, complete headache. read more

Bait bait and switch. We rented a 29 passenger limo for a senior prom group. What showed up was a 26 passenger limo with a totally different seating configuration. We contacted the company to talk about the problem with the different vehicle and they're completely unwilling to discuss it. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. read more

reserved a Lincoln Stretch for 10 people...driver was kind and on time. it was cold and drizzling and the limo HEAT did NOT WORK! And the windows were wet and fog covered ....on the INSIDE of the car. I was a little embarrassed because I was responsible for providing the car and it cost $700. read more

Don't use. We rented a limo and driver was 20 minutes late. Air condition broke handle fell off. Driver talked to us the whole time. Almost ran into the ditch. Charged a 20% tip without telling us. We asked for a partial refund and they said had to let them know within 24 hours. Told them we had death in family. Another family member a heart attack and all they would do is give a credit and we don't live in Austin. Don't use them. read more

We were looking for a vehicle for a high school prom. I was actually given Danny's name and number at Austin Prestige Limo by another limo service here in Austin b/c they did not have any vehicles available. You know it's a good sign when a competitor recommends them. However, I did not expect the professionalism, the care to detail and customer service we were then provided. Danny followed up when he said he would, gave me his cell # for questions I may have and answered them promptly. Their fleet is beautiful too. The first limo we ordered was awesome but when it came closer to prom and an even nicer, newer one became available, Danny called us immediately. He sent me pics and told us, not to worry, it held the same amount of passengers and there would be no up-charge! The driver they had that evening was Teddy. He was excellent. He kept in contact with me as the parent and assured me he would keep a close eye on them and he did. We were so impressed, my husband who works for Oracle and travels a lot, switched to them as his car service to and from the airport. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and look forward to using them again in the future. read more

10pm and we needed a limo fast for 3 hours and they were fast in delivering the perfect limo... very clean with ice and soft drinks. The glasses were very clean and I'm very happy that they exceeded our expectations. The next time I need a limo I'm definitely using Prestige Limo because I'm very happy with the job that they did. read more

OMG, watch out for this company. They charged me for 2 extra hours when my wife clearly only used an extra hour. They tried to say their GPS said different but I know for sure as we took pictures when they arrived that it was just over 1 hour and they were 5 minutes late as well. I paid over $1200 for just over 6 hours of service. On top of this trying to deal with their customer service was horrible. Could barely understand one of the service reps and could never get them to follow up with me. The Manager Danny did not follow up with me had to call him back. He said that he could not make any decision on crediting me back and that would have to be the owner. I asked for the owners name and all I would get was his first name and no number to call him (Shawn). Still have not heard back from Danny. This was not about money just about principal. I don't want to be charged for time I did not use. Don't use this company. Don't trust them. I even explained how I had used them for company events in the past and was a loyal customer but still did not care and now follow up. I will never use these guys again and you should not either. Horrible experience. All they had to do is credit my back for 45-60 minutes. Wow. Wow! Danny you are not a good person and Shawn if you don't make this right you are just the same. I have read negative reviews about this company and rejected them thinking that they just had a one-off, bad experience. I was very wrong, and I wish I would've payed closer attention to these reviews and not have scheduled with them. It was off to a good start and I called and reserved my "Limousine Party Bus", obviously thinking that it was the "Limousine Party Bus" pictured online, but no--- the online pictures are fake, and their party buses are actually the complete opposite of "luxurious". I only found out what the actual bus looked like by emailing them multiple times for pictures of the party bus, and I told them I would need the photos in order to follow through with my reservation. So then, they sent the pictures of their so called Limo Party Bus, and I was in awe. I have schedule this party bus for a homecoming dinner and dance for Juniors in High School, and putting them in this bus would've completely ruined their night. The luxurious, fun party bus pictured online, would be nothing like the actual party bus that would've shown up. I have never written a yelp review before, but after today I do not want anybody else's evening ruined like ours now is. No other place has availability for a reservation for our party, and this was the bus we chose out of many options we had about a week ago, but it screwed us over with falsely advertising their "fleet", and now we are left without a Party Bus for HomeComing. They won't even give us a refund on our down payment, and yes I know it states that their are no refunds, but the law also states its illegal to falsely advertise, which you have done. I highly recommend actually asking for pictures of the bus, rather than relying on the pictures online, because their is a high possibility that the bus you want to reserve isn't actually the bus or car they will set you up with. This is not to bring down the company, but simply warn others so they don't have an experience similar to mine. read more

Contacted Austin Prestige Limo for my daughter's wedding on 12-13-14 as we just needed transportation from the hair salon to the venue. Was quoted for one hour for a stretch limo so booked it. When the invoice arrived it was twice as much and THEN I was told they have a minimum of 2 hours. How about telling you that up front. Anyway, we went ahead and decided to actually add one hour for a total of 3 hours having the driver pick us up at the make up place then transport to the hair salon and then to the venue. Driver was late and called us late. He was at the wrong location. I told him they were just finishing up on make up and we would be ready in 15 minutes. The time came and went. Called the driver and he was at a car wash. Hello??? a car wash???? Said he would be there as soon as wash was finished. CAlled him again and yet again. Arrived 45 minutes late. Took as to hair salon and then he was to take me home to get the wedding dress. His cell phone map would not work so I had to give him play by play directions. I had planned to sit in the back and make a few phone calls but he had the ghetto music blasting to the point he could not hear me as I tried to give him directions. Then I got to listen to him make MANY phone calls, cussing at people as his car had been towed the night before and he did not want to pay the impound fee. We made it to my house and back to the salon and he said he would be right back as two of the girls were ready and the other was on the way out. We sat in the limo and waited and waited and waited as were were now running late. I yet again called him and he was in a hot dog place ordering lunch which as we went to the venue he ate while making more calls and never once turned down the ghetto music. Do NOT use these people. Oh and I verified with Nelly THREE times the exact locations the driver was to pick us up at then the next locations and so forth so why he was just then using the cell phone for addresses I have no clue. Plus he never once got out to open the doors for us. Oh wait, he did at the last stop and waited for a tip. He may still be waiting as I did not tip him additionally, you do pay a tip in the cost so I was stuck with that. The car was nice and clean on the inside and since he had spent the morning at the car wash, it was also cleaned on the outside; however I felt it should have been that way to start with. read more
