Half a pulled pork sandwich and half a brisket sandwich, (hubby and I shared) fries, cheddar jalapeño sausage and zingy bbq sauce.

Popped in on a whim and WOWOWWW! We got a brisket sandwich and a pulled pork to share so we could try them both. Fries, O rings, and sausage cause we always have to try the sausage. Peach cobbler for the win. It was all so good. The employees were friendly like they owned the place. Bonus: the chairs at all the tables are FABULOUS! Brown leather, wide seats, firm and the right height. I'm so tired of squishy seats or hard wiry ones that cut into the back of my legs.

We do love coming to this restaurant for the great meat and desserts. However, getting up to the front door can be tricky, especially if you are new to this location. You can miss step and accidentally fall. See picture for reference. However, finally realized that this was an old garage and they can lift up the doors to enter another area in that restaurant, which was awesome Service is very quick and reliable and friendly staff every visit. It is also a very calming relaxing environment.

Prompt to go service. Food was good and fresh! The green beans are so good! And I just learned they have a live band on Saturdays.

This place has the best BBQ in DFW... They are consistent and never have an off day. Everything at this restaurant is so good. The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. The establishment is very clean and has such a family-oriented environment. The cashiers have top notch customer service and are always so pleasant. The freaking collard greens are the bomb. They taste like a grandmother from the south cooked them lol. I wish they would sell them by the bucket . Great portions and great prices. Run and do not walk to this place.

I come here more than I'd like to admit, and not just out of convenience. I really love their Baked Potato, which I get fully loaded with either pulled pork or brisket. And they have one of the best cheeseburgers around. I've always had great customer service, whether I'm sitting in the dining section or the bar area. They have fun events and live music (worth giving a follow on social). But one of the most telling things, to me, is the regulars. In my opinion, a business with customers as frequent and loyal as I've seen has to be doing something right. Here, after a while, you get greeted by name, they remember your regular order, and give service with a friendly conversation. It's nice. Ask for their spicy habanero bbq sauce :) it's amazing with just the right amount of heat. The atmosphere is hometown casual, counter order for the dining area, but you can order at the bar, too, and I've always had excellent service. It's family-owned and operated and, selfishly, I'd like to see them in this location for a long, long time!

Excellent moist BBQ, the fried okra is the best I've ever had, coleslaw is sweet and crunchy. Worth the trip from anywhere in town!

Barbecue and the sides were EXCELLENT! Definitely give this place a try, much much better than other BBQ places in Addison or N Dallas.

The pastrami is incredible--it literally melts in your mouth and is packed with flavor. Their brisket is just as amazing and always cooked perfectly. The prices are a little higher than some barbecue places, but the quality more than makes up for it. The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the vintage atmosphere gives the place a lot of character. My biggest tip is to get there right when they open at 10:00 AM, Wednesday through Friday. The line builds quickly, and you don't want to miss out on their best items. If you're looking for some of the best barbecue around, Cattleack is absolutely worth the trip!

The line took over 1.5 hours before I was able to place my order. At the register, I noticed I had been double charged and pointed it out to the cashier. Mistakes happen, especially during busy hours. However, she initially denied it and removed meat from my plate to reweigh it. She later acknowledged the mistake and admitted the error, but not before making an unnecessary scene. The brisket was good, but the overall experience could have been better. 2 stars.

The food is consistently excellent. We went for dinner on a Saturday night (reservations are highly recommended). The wife had the chicken as a main entree. It was outstanding. The chicken was smoky, tender, and moist. It has a bevy of vegetables that are cooked perfectly. It comes with a side and she got the baked potato with everything. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. I cannot wait to return.

There were people celebrating birthdays, couples enjoying date nights, and others watching the games, so it had a really fun and welcoming atmosphere. Our server was so kind. I could tell she was tired, but she was still absolutely wonderful and took great care of us. The restaurant manager was also very welcoming, checked on us several times, and genuinely wanted to make sure we were enjoying our visit. We were SO indecisive when it came to choosing our meals . We started with drinks, which were really good, and I loved the cool, puffy bread they bring to the table! My husband and I ordered the crab cake and tenderloin appetizers. The crab cake was okay, but it wasn't super flavorful to me. The tenderloin appetizer, though, was AMAZING! We also had dessert, and between the bread, drinks, appetizers, and dessert, we were completely full and never even made it to an entrée. Overall, this was such a cool restaurant and a great experience. They also have outdoor seating, which was a nice option. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in Dallas!

If you grew up in North Dallas you went to school with someone here. Don't let that keep you away. It's the family feel that's a huge selling point. That and the food. Sure I love the 2 meat plate with moist brisket and jalapeño/cheddar sausage with their twice baked (warm) potato salad $19 BUT what about that brisket on a patio $19.99. Wait! There's more. The French Dip $16.99 is very good along with the Chrissy Chicken $12.99 then spice it up for $1.99 more with the Buffalo or Nashville wing sauce. The Alabama white sauce is good and most excellent with their killer French fries. They are that good. The regulars are very regular and you just might make a new friend. Good people. Good times. The bartenders who run the whole place are characters. Talented, friendly, and will actually take interest in their good guests. I may come here more for their company than the food but man, the food is good. Good seasoning and the burnt ends had a good crisp to it. I think if they cut the burnt ends smaller it would be more crispy lol I really love a good baked potato and this has to be one of the best loaded baked potato's out there! The potato was soft and stuffed with butter, cheese, bacon and chives. It's good to eat with the meats to balance out some of the flavors.
