Our breakfast nook and kitchen were made almost unlivable by the amount of heat that our old windows let in. We have had many mid to high 90 degree days since our new windows were installed, and our breakfast nook and kitchen have become our favorite places to be, as our Window World windows keep all that heat out completely. Our entire house stays much cooler now. Braden, our salesperson, was extremely professional and not high pressure at all!! Unlike some sales people, he understands all technical details of the windows, and the process of installing them. He used to be a window installer himself, and it really shows. He took very, very accurate measurements, so all our 55 windows fit perfectly when they arrived. As he looked at every window for the estimate, he explained what would need to happen for each one, such as caulking, masonry, etc. The price for all 55 of our windows was 1/2 the price of the 3 other companies we got quotes from. The quality, and look, of the windows is fantastic! After the installation was complete, Braden came by and looked at each window. He tested them for ease of raising and lowering them, as well as tilting them in and out. We found about 12-15 that were too tight, and he sent a crew over the next day to take care of them. They did a tremendous job of making them absolutely correct. I can't say enough positive things about the crew either. They arrived exactly when they said they would each day. Wes was our foreman, and did a good job of communicating with us on the first day. Bruce was the foreman-on-site of our job (was there every day), and he did a SUPERB job! He answered all the myriad of questions we had in a very professional and friendly manner. It took a 4-5 man crew 3 1/2 days to install all 55 windows. Bruce was very easy to communicate with. All the men on the crew were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Each crew member was very proficient and knew exactly what to do. The men got along very well with each other. It was a very happy crew. In my opinion, a happy crew does a good job. They had large tarps which kept the construction mess away from our carpets and furniture. Even with the tarps, they thoroughly vacuumed all the carpets and wiped down our belongings at the end of each day. They were very respectful and careful with our belongings. We were very impressed that WW's installation inspector came by twice just to be sure that things were being done properly, and to our satisfaction. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of our experience with Window World. It could not have been any better.

Window World Austin was BY FAR the most engaged, direct and customer focused. The salesman, Jose, came by for an initial and a follow-up call. Then he came out to measure - this was when his magic shined (as we found out later). He said "our installers are professional and customer service is priority." He offered me two options and gave us just enough info for us to make an informed decision. He said two months AND IT WAS EXACTLY. We got a call from customer rep, Kathy, who just continued the positive experience. Had to work around the holidays on timing and a couple logistic issues but it was not a problem for Kathy. ALWAYS RESPONSIVE. Now time for install. I was told "Bruce and his team (Anthony, Bairon, Juan & Jair) would arrive in a specified timeframe and be on site for two days. The arrived on-time and left the house as promised and clean as a whistle. Also Jose's measurements proved to be SPOT-ON as the windows fit perfectly and as promised. We followed the instructions given us and on arrival Bruce and the team went to work. The team did take over quickly and we admittedly were slow to vacate so their music and back-and-forth did cause us consternation. However, in all my years of home ownership and repairs and renovations I have never had a crew who was so focused on a good job and genuinely enjoyed the task at hand and their coworkers. I was able to submit a web form, email a picture and an appointment scheduled over email. Garrett arrived early, was extremely professional and courteous and found the issue quickly. It was fortunately very minor: clogged weep holes that couldn't be seen or reached from the ground. He grabbed his ladder, cleared them out and explained to me in detail how they work and can fail. He even took the time to check a few more windows for me. If I ever need any services they provide, they'll be the first I call!

I had 18 new windows installed in 2022 and it was a nightmare…read more First, installation: Ringer did not apply for the required permit with City of Austin and an Austin Code of Compliance guy showed up just 2 hours after they started installing and shut down the job. Ringer finally filed the appropriate permit and completed the job about a week later. They left trash behind in my yard and damaged the Sheetrock in one of my walls around a window. When I pointed it out, the supervisor laughed at me and said, "You live in an old house!". He then suggested I could hire and pay the cousin of one of their installation guys to repair the damage they left. Mold: In 2024, my blood pressure skyrocketed for no apparent reason. While I was dealing with that medically and trying to figure out the source, I found a tiny mushroom growing inside above the window where they damaged the Sheetrock. That triggered me to get mold testing done and there was mold growing in the wall behind the cracked Sheetrock above and below one of the windows they installed. They had not caulked externally above or to the side of that window, nor the window above it (2 story house). I grew sicker and sicker from the mold until I could have it remediated and then had to have reconstruction done because they had to tear the Sheetrock and insulation out and was down to the studs in my living room. It cost me nearly $8,000 to get it corrected. Greg Ringer: The windows were still under warranty, of course. I had guys out from Ringer Windows to show them the missing caulk, cracked Sheetrock and suspected mold (before the mold was removed). I sent Greg Ringer a demand letter for the cost with pictures of the mold, mold testing reports and all the invoices and he only offered to pay about .30 cents on the dollar for my damage and his lawyer tried to make me sign an agreement not tell anyone or they wouldn't pay me. I finally had to take him to small claims court and prevailed. The court made him reimburse me fully for the damage. Given that I only had mold (so far) with 2 windows, I have 16 others that for all I know could get mold at anytime.

My two large front windows and an awning window over my kitchen sinkdone by Ringer cost less than a price my brother got for one large window in his home from the company that I mentioned in the first sentence of this review. Please people even if you are wealthy do not waste your money on the company that is in your mailbox every week. Read their terrible reviews on Yelp and then call Ringer.

So obviously I love this house & wanted the absolute best for it, as it will be a multigenerational home. The first round of windows, I needed 8 windows for the newly renovated second story. I KNEW I wanted Marvin windows. Based on all of the research and reviews, Marvin made a window that would outlive me, and that's what I wanted. I mean they are an investment. My first Marvin dealer gave me a high number that I wasn't stoked about, but okay, they're amazing windows. The thing that got me shopping for my second dealer, was that the first dealer wanted signed permission from my husband to purchase windows.....CASH. As much as I love that man, I don't have time for that. He works hitches, I run the ranch. My second dealer was in the same ballpark on money, but they also wanted signed permission from a man who did not want to be involved. At this point, I had not even been able to lay hands on a Marvin window because neither dealer had a storefront, they wanted a signature from a man who was away at work and I was left with holes in my house where windows should be. So again, off I went to the third dealer. When I arrived at Showroom Windows, you wouldn't believe it, but they had a SHOWROOM! I could finally lay hands on a Marvin window, a Pella and even an Anderson! And do you know what happened next? Those nice people took my cash and ordered my windows for me, even without my husband's permission. It was so refreshing to be treated like an adult and the price, the price was way under what others had quoted me. I have been so happy with the staff at Showroom Windows, that I ordered my second set of windows and just had them installed today. In fact, until this entire renovation is complete, I will continue to order my windows from them. Even if it requires a drive, I'm close to Waco, the level of care you receive as a customer is top tier. As for the actual windows. I wanted an unobstructed view from the second story, so where the distance was high enough from floor to window, I went with casements. HOWEVER, it was not uncommon, read daily, for that house to experience high winds and I needed a window that would not rattle, flap, or break should future generations leave a window open. They have been left open a lot and are absolutely rock solid. Plus the view is amazing. In the eaves, we did double hung, as they were only inches from the floor and it was imperative that I had a window that could be dropped from the top and lock. Even though my kids are grown, looking out for the well being of my future grands was a top priority. Marvin absolutely delivered on beauty and safety.

We contacted Austin Pro Siding as part of a comprehensive siding replacement project, as our…read morefiberboard siding was end-of-life and starting to really have problems that would have only gotten worse. Along the way, we also discovered that we needed to have the roof replaced, and so put that in the mix for a bid as well. We contacted six different companies, each of which brought a particular set of strengths and challenges. We chose Austin Pro based on a combination of factors: personalized attention to our project, comprehensive estimate and explanation of each line item, and ability to get the project done on a timeline that worked for us. We chose to have the house re-sided with Hardie Plank, painted with Sherwin-Williams paint, and re-shingled the roof with GAF shingles. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the process of basically re-doing the entire house, especially when insurance companies come into play. To that end, everyone at Austin Pro was first rate. Before we even settled on a contractor, Paul, our project manager, walked me through the intricacies of the process, and spent probably more time than he wanted explaining how things would go, and what options we had. The bid was competitive, and the line-by-line items on the original bid made it easy to see what was going to be done, and what materials were going to be used. He was patient and courteous and flexible, and was also able to speak to us in a way that didn't make things even more confusing. Kevin was the siding project lead, and though we never met in person, I felt comfortable that he had our best interests at heart as he got the crew on site, working fast and efficiently to remove and replace the siding. He even called in the middle of the siding job to tell us that we didn't need something we thought we would, saving us money that we could then use for add-ons we didn't originally budget for. The siding install and siding paint was done beyond our initial expectations, with nice touches like window framing and utility box framing that I didn't even know we needed but now look perfect. We had the back door repainted as well as our front balcony and pillars, and the end result is fantastic. It really was done to the point where it looks like a brand new house, and not one built in the early 1990s. Paul was back on site for the roofing job, and the roofers did a great job removing and replacing the shingles and skylight with new materials, on a roof that is exceptionally steep and challenging. They had the entire project done in only two days, and it looks fantastic. Finally, Garrett came by to do the final walk-through and punch list check-off, and was a real pleasure to interact with. He fulfilled all the items on the list, at least the ones he could do on his own, and did so in a friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient manner. All in all, Austin Pro lived up to their name and to their reputation. It is possible to find a company that can do your big jobs for less, but I am not sure you could find one that could do it better. They stand by their work with a quality assurance guarantee, and while I don't intend to need it, it's great that it's there.

We are loving the new look along with the temperature and sound regulation benefits! For reference, we also got quotes from Window World (slightly less expensive but not energy efficient certified), Titan Windows and Siding (significantly more expensive), and JP Construction (comparable on almost everything but not quite as proactive on follow up).

We never liked these, and it was time for a serious upgrade. After doing a lot of research we selected 3 candidate companies to explore and GreenTex was easily the one at the top of our list. We liked the fact that they are family owned and place a high value on integrity and honesty. Our first experience was with the sales consultant, Bill. Bill was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and address all our questions. There was no high pressure or rush to make a decision (unlike other companies!!) and he did everything he could to help us meet our budget objectives while maintaining a high standard of the final look & functionality of each window. We went with their vinyl offering and he walked us through all our options. In the end, we knew exactly what we would be getting, how they would operate, look, and enhance our home. Both my wife and I were really impressed with the company from that moment on and we signed up. Next up was our construction lead, Dave. Dave was super friendly and came out to take exact measurements of each window and re-reviewed everything with us to make sure that there were no questions left unanswered. We have a lot of brick work and GreenTex never touched our bricks and replaced/resurfaced the mortar. The windows themselves exceeded our expectations. The build quality is amazing, and they operate smoothly and are consistent from one window to the next: no product variation. They also look fantastic both inside the house as well as from the curb.
