I was prepared to pay for the repair, but to my surprise, Peter asked me to take some photos and send them to him first. He then told me that whenever I had time, I could bring the car in, and they would take care of it within about 30 minutes -- completely free of charge. Today, I brought my car to the shop. During the inspection, they found that there were some other issues underneath the car and that a few parts needed to be replaced. Peter still kindly helped me get everything fixed without charging me anything. I truly appreciate Peter's kindness and generosity, and I felt very touched by the way they treated me. I believe many auto repair shops would not be able to provide this kind of help for free. A big thank you to Peter and the technician who worked on my car. He offered to speak to the other party himself to explain everything, which I greatly appreciated. When my availability didn't line up with when the repairs were complete, Mahar still offered to stay beyond the shop's closing time for me to pick up the car. And even when that didn't work, he was incredibly gracious enough to arrange for a different time.
