[ 2nd part of posting ] At this point in time the owner had…read moreasked me if I wanted to repaint the roof and this may have been another red flag but it completely went over my head as I was upset. I should have asked him why he was asking me that. Why was a a shop doing a wrap asking me if I wanted to repaint the roof? At the end of day 2, upon picking up vehicle I now know why that was a question. Again, no phone call was given as to the severity of the roof condition after old wrap was removed. I was told that old wrap had burnt itself into the clear coat causing cracking in the clear coat and peel up in small sections leading to the roof being sanded down. In pictures obtained from the owner, it looks as if a harsh chemical was used to remove old wrap & glue causing a paint reaction. Upon inspection of the new wrap on the roof, it appears to have hastily been done possibly towards the end of day knowing that I'd be there by 6. Wrinkles on some edges, not tucked and simply cut and glued down. There is even a small piece that was puzzle pieced together due to the roof wrap being cut to short. The rear window rubber glass seal has also been sliced in various sections. Cuts not straight but jagged on wrap and bubbles appearing larger than a dime in size. You can clearly see the cracking in the clear coat under the wrap and sections where either paint or clear coat came off in chips. I do not know the actual condition of the paint/roof under new wrap, just told it was only "sanded to smoothen out the roof". Not only was this evident under the new wrap but clear circular sanding marks were visible on paint adjacent to roof and on top of rear window close to roof. Upon further inspection, paint is lifting and bubbling on C pillar at rear window junction as well as low spots around passenger side trunk hinge area. There is clear indication that a chemical was used causing the chemical to run down the C pillar channel area and pool up at the bottom trunk hinge area. Rubber channel has been stained white leading to further speculation that a harsh chemical was used with some paint being removed with chemical and sanding dust liquid runoff. After talking to the owner of Cuba Window Tinting for a third day, Yosvanny did not take any accountability of the damages and simply stated that his shop was not responsible for the damages to the paint and further denied any liability that his shop did anything to damage the paint also saying that maybe it came in like that. He added insult to injury by pointing out some scratches on the front lip and bumper of my car as to discredit my accusation of his shops negligence by saying that it should be repainted as well as the new roof wrap removed, roof repainted and rewrapped so that my car can look "real nice". Now, I know I didn't pull up in a flashy brand new car like a Tesla, Mercedes or Ferrari nor am I a sports star and this satement made about my cars imperfections by Yosvanny not only came off as being unprofessional and tacky given the situation but also made me feel less of a customer and more of a nuisance. Not only did he not take accountability but said that he knows of a body shop that can do all this, AT MY COST?!?!?!? I mentioned that it's only a matter of time and with rain, the paint will absolutely start to further lift and eventually peel. He felt otherwise and further attempt to sell me on his friend's body shop. He did not want to refund any of the cost and said if any other issues arise to bring car back. He did not take accountability effectively meaning his insurance will not be involved causing me to file a claim with my insurance company which ultimately was denied due to this being a unique situation that does not fall under the parameters of my comprehensive coverage. What was supposed to be a 1 day roof wrap job has now spiraled into the removal of new wrap as to inspect condition of paint/clear possibly needing to be repainted, prep & paint all lifting paint areas. Don't let my mistake of taking my car here for a roof wrap be your mistake. The roof did look better than when I brought it in but at a cost that will now cost me a lot more money than the wrap. Cuba Window Tinting does not have a long history of wrapping and there are some negative reviews on his past wrap jobs , do your research and don't ignore the red flags. At time of this posting/review, the owner of Cuba Window Tinting, Yosvanny still has not replied to me with his insurance info and or replied to me at all showing his absolute professionalism or lack there of.

For my truck, Yosup recommended ceramic tint and walked me through several tint percentage options. He explained that adding 5% over the factory privacy glass would make the rear windows extremely dark and suggested that 15% would provide a better match to 5% on the front windows. I appreciated the honest advice and his willingness to share his expertise without any pressure. In the end, I decided to go with 5% all the way around because that was the look I wanted, and he was absolutely right. It is extremely dark, but exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was just as impressive as the quality of the work. Although my appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, Yosup accommodated my request to drop the truck off early in the morning so I could pick it up after work. He even finished the job ahead of schedule. It is hard to find businesses that combine great craftsmanship, honest recommendations, and exceptional customer service, which is why I continue to trust and recommend YS Window Tint.

If you're reading this you already know Golden State has great reviews and have been around for several years. So I sent an inquiry to their info account and Mark the owner responded promptly. Over several emails, Mark gave me a quote, answered all my questions and scheduled an appointment at their facility, all very promptly. I dropped off the car (with my usual separation anxiety), the appointment went smoothly and the new glass looked great. But, the installer pointed out a "bubble" in the rear-view mirror seal and said it may or may not self-correct in a few days, and I should let them know if not. Bottom line, it didn't, I did, and Mark said he'd order a new seal and send Jesus to my house to do the fix. Jesus was quick and professional and now the mirror seal looks perfect. The whole experience was professional, no-hassle and confidence-inspiring (and "dealership quality"). I'd highly recommend Golden State Auto Glass.

Ramon, his partner, and the tech provided excellent customer service to tint my Chevy Bolt. Based on the suggestions and demos, I picked 10% for rear and the hatch, 50% for front. Windshield un-tinted. It turned out fabulous! This combination provides privacy for rear passengers as well as UV protection for the front. The rear vs front tint gradient makes front tint looks subtle yet functional. The application was quick and I got courtesy rides to and from the mall as well! In the original application, there were some imperfection a few days into the curing process. I contacted Ramon and he gladly schedule a followup appointment for me to go back to have the correction done. Without hesitation, they replaced the original sheets. They really stand behind their reputation and their pursuit of perfection has earned my highest rating for this business. I would highly recommend Auto Aesthetics for your tinting needs! read more

Based on a referral from a close friend, he confirmed that DPCS exceeded his expectations. He took his Tesla, BMW, and his Honda to Renan, and he was thoroughly impressed with his entire experience. My current vehicle already has tint installed (XPEL Prime XR+) on all windows, including the windshield. I wasn't satisfied with the installation, and I didn't want to return to the original shop that had done the work. That said, I called DPCS, and the rest was history. Renan gave me the option to stick with XPEL, or to go with GeoShield Pro Nano. I explained that I wanted my side windows to match in shade, and that we could go darker for my rear glass. He kept me informed throughout the process, and his execution went beyond my expectations. Shop around as I did, and make sure you give DPCS a chance to earn your business.

When I got there, I received the same high level of service I got more than a decade ago. Some new faces this time. I had asked to see how 70% looked and a sample strip was applied just so I could see how dark it was. I appreciated this extra help. There was clear communication each step of the process, so I never felt lost. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Fast forward a month later, I still see some spots that seemed blurry. I made contact again via Yelp and explained my concern. I was told that a month is more than enough time for it to cure. So we setup an appointment so that they could inspect it and re-do the tint if necessary. Unfortunately, it did seem like it needed to be redone. I'm glad that they had foresight to allow enough time to redo. It's now almost a month later and everything is still great!

I found Elite Window Tint on Yelp and contacted Jose to get a quote and evaluation. It was actually an easy selection process as Jose seemed very honest and with a fantastic attention to detail. He was also the only one in the area with the STEK PPF I wanted. Right after picking up my car, I dropped it off at Elite for a 10-day makeover. Jose and Jonathan did a masterful job of prepping the paint and windows. The PPF was installed (nearly) perfectly, and they have been very very responsive at fixing any of the minor glitches. The window tint looks amazing and really helps reduce the glare when driving. The ceramic coating beads off water like crazy. The pricing is definitely competitive. Not the lowest, not the highest. But you get a great result that will (hopefully) last a while. Overall, I'm impressed and very happy with these guys. Great job and highly recommended.
