I was referred to Auto Care from a friend that has been using their service for years they came highly recommended. I had been quoted 8800.00 for an engine rebuild from the dealership next door and it just didn't feel right because the code was for a random miss fire. Auto care found that the spark plug had no gap in it like someone had dropped it or something. In stead of being dishonest or completely incompetent like the others they fixed the real problem that I needed done and saved me an enormous amount of money and heart ache. My 90 year old mother-in-law moved to MB last year. A few weeks ago she called and said her 23 year old car was shaking badly and she did not know what to do. I found Auto Care Specialist on Yelp and based on the reviews, recommended them to her. They could not have been nicer. They got her in within a few days, diagnosed the problem as bad brakes and replaced the pads and rotors - this had not been done in 23 years! On the way home, the car just stopped. She called them and they came quickly and determined the problem in a parking lot and she had it towed to them. They replaced the alternator and battery quickly and she was on her way. They were very polite to an older woman and did the repairs quickly and for a fair price. They even reset the clock after putting in the new battery. She is very pleased with their service and will absolutely go back if she has any other problems with her car. read more

It was Friday early afternoon when my car would not turn over. I called around and they said they would look at it if I could get it there soon. Even though they were busy, they inspected it, and realized it was the battery and also checked our AC because I said it had not been cooling well. We travel to Myrtle Beach approximately 4 times a year and have been doing so for approximately 20 plus years. On our way down this year our AC totally stopped working despite having it serviced before we left Michigan. We searched the internet and checked with some locals and Auto Care Specialist had the best online rating and word of mouth recommendation. I went there on Friday 9/2/2022 and explained my situation to the gentleman working the office (I am terrible with names). He regretfully told me that they are absolutely swamped and that he could not get to my car right away or today. I could tell that this gentleman did not want to turn me away but it was Friday before the Holiday weekend and they were very busy. I also told him that I am going back home this weekend and that it was very hot driving down here with no AC and that I dread driving 12 hours home with no AC. I asked him if he could at least have someone tell me if my freon is full or empty? The gentleman told me to wait a moment and he will check with a mechanic. A short time later a mechanic came and got my keys and asked me what was going on. Approximately 2 hours (I would have waited 5 hours) later my AC was fixed and is blowing colder than it has in a long time. This mechanic literally stopped what he was doing to work on my car which likely means that he got behind on his other work. I even noticed that the mechanic did not stop for his lunch which I would not have had a problem waiting. This garage / shop truly cares!! The price was lower than I expected!!!! The ratings don't lie when it comes to these mechanics. They could have charged whatever they wanted and I would have had to pay but they did not, very very very reasonable price. Five star AAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ service, honest, reliable and affordable. There arent a whole lot of mechanics and shops left that would do what they did on a friday before a Holiday weekend. Arrived in Myrtle Beach with rear wheel bearing problems in a KIA Sorrento. Dropped in at Myrtle Beach KIA. Spoke with Bradley Cooper. Explained to him what I thought the issue was. He seemed more interested in trying to sell me a new set of tires rather than trying to fix my KIA. He also told me that the earliest I could get an appointment, was three weeks away. I found this to be unacceptable and continued to look elsewhere. Auto Care Specialist were recommended to me by a Lady clerk in the NAPA store. NAPA Auto Care Specialists were kind and caring. Who fixed my issue within a few days. What wonderful people to deal with! It was a pleasure to meet such a group of dedicated professional Auto Care Specialists. We were out of town on vacation in MB and ready to head back home when our van ran into some serious mechanical problems. We were so, so, so very fortunate to be pointed to this auto repair shop which was within view of where we were and we were able to get the van there. We didn't have an appointment, and they were busy, but they got us in, diagnosed the problem quickly and went above and beyond to get it fixed for us so we could go home. I sure wish this business was local to me because I would bring ALL of my vehicles there for work. These guys are great. I have taken my car to many different shops but out of all of them this is the best. I recently had a coolant leak so I took my car in and turns out I also needed a new radiator. I brought my car in the morning and they had it done that same day. They are fast, diligent and friendly. I felt very welcomed when I walked into the shop. They really care about their customers as they knew exactly who I was when I came back to get my car. 2 years ago I brought my car to this shop to fix my engine. I have not had a single problem with my car engine since they worked on it. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

I was a walk-in in need of some auto help! I needed a new air conditioner installed, and I needed a new battery. A previous location quoted the repairs to be $340 before the battery. This man repaired my AC (which a previous mechanic was unable to do after keeping my car for four days), and installed a new battery all in matter of 90ish minutes. He only charged me $200 with the new AC and battery installation. I was in such shock at the speedy, affordable repairs that I was stammering as I replied, "Debit," when they asked me how I'd like to pay. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! read more
