Recently, I bought a car at Courtesy Chevrolet. As part of that process, they encouraged me to give them a try for my first service appointment. Well last week, it was time for that. I made an online appointment. It couldn't have been easier. There is no way I could have forgotten about this appointment. They must have texted or emailed me 5 times in between the time I made my appointment and the date of my service. So of course I missed my appointment. Hahaha just kidding...I was there right on time. I pulled into the service lane and Aubrey was out to greet me before I even had the car in park. He went over my needs and gave me an estimate for the amount of time it would take. You guys....he tole me an hour to an hour and a half and my car was done in 50 minutes. Aubrey went over everything that was checked on with my car and he made sure I knew what to focus on with their print out. I was very impressed with this visit. The waiting room was small and clean with WiFi, a tv, and a coffee machine. They took really good care of me. This place is a hidden gem! read more

The only updates given were "no update as of yet Thank you for your patience" When I did get a report, I asked if the parts were available and for a time estimate for repairs. Again I got no answers just that my car had to be assigned to another technician in regards to an oil leak and thanked for my patience. No answers. No one ever called me to discuss diagnostic results. Just a link to a report with suggested repairs. We used to bring our car here for everything but it has really gone down hill in customer service. Wanted to buy a car that I found on their website. The car was listed at $26,200 and 3300 miles, screen shots available as proof. I was told the price online was wrong and they were going to "take a hit" on the car due to the price listed. They did honor the price, that is admirable. After this point everything goes down hill. Poor follow up, I had to message them multiple times To get the purchase wrapped up. Was quoted 5.39% on a loan (I have a video showing it) then they came back at 7.Something% later on over the phone. Finally at the last part of the deal, the mileage is reported as ~58000, was shown at 3300 online and was on the deal write up as 3300. I normally don't leave reviews, but my experience with Courtesy Chevrolet was extremely frustrating. My car was there for about a month, and most of that time was spent supposedly diagnosing the issue. After a month of waiting, I was originally told the car would be ready by Friday, then they pushed it back to "early next week" because the technician and apprentice needed more time. It ended up not being finished until the end of the week instead. What makes this even worse is that after all that waiting, the original problem with my car still isn't fixed. Waiting that long just to get the car back with the same issue is unacceptable. Communication was inconsistent throughout the process, and the constant delays made the experience even more stressful. I understand repairs can take time, but customers should at least receive accurate timelines and quality work the first time around. Very disappointed with the overall service. read more

Bought a new car here a couple weeks ago and the manager tried to not give us a military discount so had to ask the finance person and he thought that was crazy. We finally got a phone call from finance on 5/8 where we agreed to be refunded of our deposit but no overnight check has been received and again can not get ahold of anyone in finance. We get transferred to mail boxes that are full or to a finance dept who doesn't answer their phone and leave a message with the front desk but then no one calls us back. Just an update: The problem lies with the VIN number that my account with Courtesy was associated with. In 2021 I bought a new car (w/o Bose) from them, and I sold the car a year later to a different dealer. In 2024, I then bought the exact car (w Bose) but with a different VIN from a private seller as I got seller's remorse from selling the car in 2022. I brought in the second car in 2024 for the mentioned repair to Courtesy. Courtesy assumed I was bringing in the car that I bought from them in 2021 not knowing it had a different VIN and having different options (Bose speakers). I investigated and found out about this myself because when I ran the CARFAX report on the first car, there is a mileage discrepancy issue popped up on the report. I still blamed Courtesy somewhat as their check in process should be better. Other Chevy dealers I went to would use a tool to scan the VIN and have a service write up everytime I dropped a car off. That way the error could be caught early. Like I mentioned in my post, there is also no service write up on my issue, I might have caught the VIN discrepancy from the form that was issued to me. They should also be the one who investigated the VIN issue so I can be informed. But I guessed that was not important for them, and they could not care less ‍ read more

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying a vehicle at this location. The sales department was wonderful, however my various experiences with the service department have been incredibly frustrating and I cannot express how awful it is to have to deal with their service department. 1. You cannot actually talk to a service member unless you go through some sort of automated answering machine. 2. No updates are provided 3. They don't drop off, have loaners, or call an uber if it's beyond 10 miles. Which is incredibly frustrating when you are a full time employee who has a job and have to find your own way to and from work and back to the dealership. 4. They seem to never find my name or number in there system. I have to spell my name 3 times for them to then ask for a phone number, and they still can't find my information in their system despite me going in frequently enough. 5. They don't honor their warranties. I had a horrible experience with my transmission at 3 years in and they basically just pawn the issue over to the GMC representative. 6. The reps schedule your car in on days where there isn't a tech available and just expect you to leave your car on days sitting there. I do not have the resources for more than one car and this is incredibly unnecessarily inconvenient. I would definitely not buy a vehicle from this dealership despite the sales department doing a good job because having to deal with the service department long term (my warranty lists that I have to go back to the same dealership for services) is not advisable. HOWEVER, they hired a new manager and she appears to be making the service department have better customer service. After I expressed my frustrations she went out of her way to make my experience easier. I was originally going to put a 1 star and because of her i went with 2 stars. read more

I set an appointment for warranty service on my EV for a suspension noise. The service department called and said they only have one EV/Hybrid technician, so they would have to keep the car for 3 weeks until he is available. I asked, "Can I bring the car in 3 weeks from now when he is available?" The answer was, "No, our system queue makes us hold the car for 3 weeks while waiting for availability of the technician." She asked if she should move my appointment, then explained, she could move it 3 weeks out, but the car would then need to sit on their lot another 3 weeks. This is why Tesla, Rivian, and all newer companies are crushing traditional archaic automotive companies. They do what makes sense for the customer. I've had a few Teslas, and their service is super intuitive and efficient. I don't think GM will ever catch up. read more

I thought I loved my Chevy till I needed them to help me keep it maintained. It only has major issues. No minor issues. If you spend thousands on fixing the issue it only fails you again! Of course just after warenty. Within less than two years of each repair!! Biggest tip if you do buy anyway, don't expect high mileage and don't waste your time on repairs. Get rid of it before you have issues. They will come sooner than expected. Big issues. Multiple. Definitely don't go to Courtesy Cheverolet! I was there on an advertised lease, after they "ran the numbers", the payment almost doubled drone the ad. Buying the car was great experience. After that it was crap. Got a used suburban, bought the extended warranty. I have had it 2.5 months maybe. It's already had 3 problems with it. First time they were great got me a loaner car (which is exactly what they told me when we bought it ) second time my car got towed they couldn't get me a rental or a loaner. Told me to contact my extended warranty which I did but couldn't get a rental bc my claim was not yet submitted. (Not told this when we bought the vehicle) frustrating when I was stranded with a new baby and I can't even get a rental car bc they couldn't even look at my car until The next day which the day was almost over by the time they looked at it.. So without a car with 5 kids and all they had to say was you just have to wait until the claim is submitted or see if your extended warranty can do anything. 2/6/2025 - I am unable to claim my EV tax credit because apparently my EV purchase was not entered into the IRS Clean Vehicle Seller database. I have tried multiple times to resolve the issue, but have been unable to speak with anyone at this location other than to leave a message. I was promised they would investigate and get back to me, but nobody did. What makes this even more aggravating is that receptionist at. dealership never answers phone. And when I select another department n the phone tree, I am unknowingly routed to the Courtesy Chevrolet in AZ. This is an example of a dealership with sleezy salespeople. I bought a truck in 2021. As I was signing paperwork, I refused all extra warranties. This angered the salesman and he stormed off after slamming his hands on the desk and throwing some passive aggressive insults at me. The truck is nice and all but it only has 76,000 miles and now it is overheating. I was told it needs a new radiator. So, the quality of the vehicle speaks for itself. The biggest concern is that everytime I come in to get the truck serviced (I stay on top of services) everyone in the department behaves like I am bothering them. A lot of poor attitudes and very slow service. Even with an appointment, an oil change takes several hours. Long story short, get a different brand vehicle, or at minimum go to a different Chevrolet dealership. Message me for proof of poor customer service via text exchanges with the company. We recently took our vehicle in for a required electrical maintanence repair. The estimated repair time for the broken front sensor was 7-10 days. Luis failed to report the claim to our warranty company and sat on the car for over 16 days and either chose to lie to us about submitting the claim or was too inept to properly email and received verification it was processed. He even claimed they had requested photos. When I called the warranty company to identify the cause, I was informed he had not submitted the claim. After getting the claim processed, I requested an estimate of when it was received on a Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday. I did not get a response aside from, "...we will let you know tomorrow ASAP" until Wednesday. This resulted in a car rental of over $1200 for his ineptness and lieing in regard to processing a warranty claim. Steer far away unless you are willing to micromanage the service they provide and call every day. Courtesy Chevrolet should at the minimum cover the cost of the rental due to their inability to complete the agreed upon tasks without lieing and manipulating the customers read more

My two weeks of negotiations with Courtesy Chevrolet ended without the purchase a new Silverado. Many useless emails, texts and calls trying to get specific answers to questions. As with many GM dealers, you see very enticing pricing on their website of up to $14000 off MSRP. The only problem...you will never jump through enough hoops to get the price advertised! I think it's a wonder that no district attorneys around California have looked into that! For one "cash back offer", you have to be in law enforcement, another a EMT, another in school admin/student, another you have to finance through GM, another you have to finance through CC's "local bank", another you have to trade in a car, another you have to have a currently leased vehicle. It almost seems like you have to be all these things concurrently to come close to getting the advertised price!!! Oh, and the final straw...every vehicle for sale at Courtesy will have their mandated "dealer installed options". Total of these non optional options...over $2000! Four "options" I neither needed or wanted! See the attached pic. Anyway, after finally realizing I wasn't going to buy my new ride at Courtesy, I took a different tack. I simply called the sales manager at Bob Stall Chevrolet! Negotiating took 20 minutes, ending at the cash price "out the door" I wanted to pay! Plus, the people at Bob Stall all seemed happy! I finally heard from their DMV/finance clerk around mid to late August, and even then, nothing got resolved. They claimed my plates would be mailed since I had just moved. Guess what? Never showed up. I've been calling nonstop for weeks trying to get an answer. Every single time, I either get transferred to a dead line, told to leave a voicemail that never gets returned, or passed around between sales and finance like no one wants to deal with it. Zero accountability. Zero urgency. Today, after nearly a month plus of chasing them down, I finally get told my plates have been sitting at the dealership this entire time. No call. No follow-up. No apology. Just weeks of me wasting my time when all it would've taken was one person actually doing their job and checking. This is not customer service. This is laziness and flat-out unprofessional. Once they sell you the car, you're on your own. They don't care if you're waiting, frustrated, or driving around without plates. What makes this even worse is how completely different it is from my first experience when I went there to buy the car. At first, everything seemed smooth, professional, and helpful. Today It is January 23, 2025 and they have not finished my car yet. I am paying hundreds of dollars for a rental even though I have the extended warranty, Allied insurance will only pay for several days of a loaner rental car. They didn't even have the part for quite a while. So whatever you do, don't bring your car here I should add that even though they have called me and left messages they don't answer the phone when I call them back at the service department. read more

I brought my 2017 Impala to the Chevrolet service center twice for the same ongoing issue--jerking and shuddering while driving--and it still hasn't been resolved. Both times, I worked with service advisor Rafael Ramirez. The first visit, they kept my car for three days and said the issue was a loose battery cable. The second time, they kept it for an entire week and blamed a bad air filter. Neither of these fixes resolved the problem. I feel like my time and money were completely wasted.
