Later that afternoon they called me and told me the problem I had with a critical senser. (The other repair shops could not look at my truck for at least a week.) They had to order that part from Denver. With the Interstate Hwy 70 closed West of Denver, there were shipping problems causing delays. They told me that they could repair my truck the same day that they get the part. That Wednesday they called me and they had repared my truck. They charged me a reasonable fee for their services. Unfortunately my hotel charged me much more money than my truck repairs. I was happy that John Roberts got my truck repaired in a timely mannor and I got to check out of that unreasonable motel.

Jeff at John Roberts was very helpful and set me up with an appointment. When I arrived,, he greeted me, took my information, and gave me an estimate of how long it would take. He then pointed me to the waiting room and told me there would be coffee. As promised, my vehicle was finished a little quicker than his estimated time. I will use them again next year when back in Gunnison.

Brought a vehicle in for a simple repair that I needed done quickly and didn't have time to do myself. They took forever to get to it and destroyed more components in the process! I called for a warranty of the parts that failed in under a week and was treated as if I was a lying toddler and knew nothing about the vehicle. After bringing it down (via specific time appointment) for them to inspect the faulty part and the damage THEY incurred, they let the vehicle set for over a day before even inspecting. Upon finally inspecting the vehicle they call to tell me all the damage was MY fault and existed prior to their work on it. On top of it all, the rate I was quoted at for them to fix the issues they created was just plain thievery. Claiming to split the labor cost of the repair (which I had to do myself in the end and took me but an hour!) at $175!! That means these guys are charging ~$350 an hour to break your vehicle and install faulty components! When you bring a straight and dry vehicle in for a simple part replacement and receive it back with grease spewing out of the axles and oil puking out of the seal (which can only be damaged upon installation of said replacement part) it screams incompetent mechanics. And when the poor work is followed up with dismal customer service and refusing responsibility for their mistakes its makes for a headache inducing, and expensive nightmare. Even if your vehicle is busted and you're in a rush, avoid this shop. You're better off walking, it's a lot cheaper.

How many customers of yours drove less than 50 miles after getting an oil leak fixed and have had catastrophic engine failure due to no oil being in the engine? Just curious. You do know that no oil in the engine will also lead to a rod being thrown....right Don? I have done my due diligence as well, I have spoken to 6 shops owners and mechanics at two different shops in town and they ALL say the same thing. "Someone did something wrong". All assured me they would be stand up guys and take care is their customer. When I told them your course of action, all were shocked at how you could take zero responsibility and offer zero assistance. You say the oil was checked before I left....how do you know with such certainty that oil was in there? Because your tech that doesn't want any heat said so? Please tell me there is more than the word of your tech not wanting to admit a mistake was made. How about the result Don, does that really mean nothing? It couldn't possibly be a mistake on your end? 35 miles and engine blows....after oil leak was "fixed" for the 3rd time in 10k miles for a total cost of $10,000....do the math Don....your business is not 100% innocent here. What a joke!! You hid behind your parent company and did nothing. His in your office when I came to visit you about it. I don't buy vehicles from Stellantis, I bought vehicles from you (4 in total), my family did (another 7 in total, my friends did (20+) easily at last count. I have let them all know about how you wouldn't even assist me on the $1700 bill I paid right before driving 35 miles and the engine blowing it up. YOU DID NOTHING BUT TELL ME...."I guess we both lose on this one"....as you knew you were throwing away a good customer. I am a local businessman and a great customer to almost every business I work with. Unreal!! Still cannot take ANY responsibility! I spent $10k on repairs and was left with a truck that needed another $15,500 for a new engine. $25,500 in the toilet......DO SOMETHING DON....you are the local business owner....I am your local customer!

I was asked if the vehicle could be kept another day and I agreed. On Wednesday morning, I received a text that work had begun. Around 3:50 in the afternoon, I had heard nothing so texted to get a status. The response was that they would be done in 45 minutes. I reminded the service manager about the fact that another dealership had suggested that the brake pads might need to be replaced. He texted that they were just starting the measures. No further texts came. Was the truck ready? I was expecting communication either that the brakes were good and I could get the truck or they needed work. Nothing. I texted after hours for an update and the service manager texted the next morning saying he had already told me the truck would be ready. When I got to the dealership, I was walked me through what was done per the paperwork and assured these were straightforward tasks and that I was doing the right thing by my vehicle. 10 miles from the dealer the radiator hose popped off - it hadn't been properly secured. The engine temperature alarm went off. I pulled over. I called the dealer who arranged to have the truck towed and a "loaner" provided. It took a while but eventually an older Dodge Dart covered with dog hair arrived. The service manager contacted me later that day and said everything was buttoned up and they would have one of their staff drive it up and exchange for the loaner. When I get in the truck the check engine light is still lit. So.. things weren't buttoned up and this kid just drove my truck for 30 miles with the check engine light on. I called a local parts store to ask about clearing the codes and mentioned I had had work done at Town and Country and his immediate unprompted response was "Sorry.". The next day I took the truck to another mechanic to have him review the work as I was headed out of town on a long trip in some remote areas. The fluid levels and plugs seemed ok, but the air filter I was shown wasn't. It's like they just don't care. I called and asked to speak with the General Manager who is also a part owner. He didn't pick up so I left a voicemail detailing the above and leaving my number in case he wanted to call back and discuss it. He did not.

Decided to just get there first thing to make sure I wasn't late. Got there and the service guy didn't seem too enthused about helping me. Then he says there was no record of my appointment, nor was there any record of the extensive descriptions to the multiple issues that the lady put into the system. He's like "so what's goin on with it?" I just said they didn't seem very professional and got my keys and left. Got up early and drove an hour for nothing. Prob a good thing because I had brought it in 3 yrs before when it was under warranty for the air recirculation not working and they said it was working fine. After leaving I checked it and it was still not working. Brutal. Thought maybe that since a big Denver dealer bought the dealership they would have a more professional operation with capable techs but apparently it's just a new name with the same people running it. Obviously would not recommend.

I am writing to formally document my experience regarding a warranty repair on my 2020 Ford Escape…read moreinvolving the driver-side door weld/arm issue. I first brought the vehicle to your dealership in February 2024 for warranty service. After approximately four months with no communication from your service department, I called to check the status and was told the required part was on backorder. I then contacted Ford directly and was informed the part was not on backorder and had apparently never been ordered. After bringing this to your staff's attention, I was assured the matter would be handled immediately. However, over the following months, I repeatedly had to call your dealership myself for updates, only to continue hearing that the part was "on backorder." At one point, when I asked specifically which part was delayed, no one could even identify the part in question. Throughout this entire process, I received virtually no proactive communication from your service department. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back with updates, but no one ever did. I ultimately waited over a year from the original service visit before learning the part had finally arrived -- and even then, only because I once again called your dealership myself. I later discovered the part had reportedly been there for approximately a week before anyone attempted to contact me. When I finally scheduled the repair this week, I was originally told the repair would require 3-4 days. I made transportation arrangements around that timeline due to my work responsibilities as a university coach. After dropping off the vehicle, I attempted to use the text update system your dealership provided and received no responses despite multiple attempts. I again had to call myself, at which point I was informed the repair would now take an additional seven days. I also contacted Ford's national customer service line and learned there are warranty transportation assistance policies available under certain circumstances. Unfortunately, your dealership never informed me of any rental or transportation assistance options during this lengthy process. At this point, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, lack of accountability, and overall customer service I have experienced. The repeated misinformation, failure to follow through, and complete lack of proactive updates over the course of more than a year is unacceptable.
