Wow wow & wow I'm literally in shock. As a family searching for a car for our 18 year old daughter we literally don't understand why this happened with this car place and it was either their owner or manager. We are assuming it was the owner based on how he took over and talked so disrespectful to the worker and my husband. We went in this place to test drive a Lexus my daughter absolutely loved for a reasonable price. The car deal ship guy was totally normal and friendly. My husband and him spoke regarding the car and we left to talk about it. He was professional and answered all questions. Then the most ridiculous out of line incident happened the next day we went back to discuss pricing, and the typical back and fourth conversation you would have buying a car. Like I said this isn't about the worker it's about the owner/manager who came into the room while my husband was discussing everything with the sales guy. He barged in a berated his worker, shut him down, told him not to speak and basically questioned If my husband "can afford a Lexus" that was an older but reasonable starter car for our daughter. He rejected how the sales guy was going about everything. The owner started arguing with my husband and shouting at him saying "you gata prove you can even buy this car" He totally out of line and aggressive we are taken back and so confused. His worker, sales guy tried to intervene but his boss raised his hand at him to shut him down. Idk if it made him angry that they were discussing price or what happened?? My husband of course got up out of his seat and told him he don't need to prove anything to him or buy his car. That he has his own financing through our bank but instead he would rather go somewhere else if that's the way he's going treat him. That he was being so rude and it was unnecessary. Basically it was awful experience especially kinda killed the whole thing for our daughter which this was going be her very first time buying a car. It was literally a horrible experience and I was of course so pissed. Don't go there they don't deserve any business whatsoever. Ultimately we found a great little Mazda for her and had awesome experience at another local car shop. We made the deal and walked away being treated very well and gave them amazing professional review as they deserve. Idk what this was this place but honestly I feel really bad for this car sales man who works for this horrible guy. Please leave you don't deserve to be treated like a slave. Future people don't take your business here. As stressful as car shopping is or any large purchase can be go where you are respected and valued. Take your money to people who work hard and deserve it!!! Go to National City Auto Center!!! They are great at what they do and make the process simple and less stressful as possible. It's been 2 months now, so I figure that's a fair amount of time to wait after buying a car to leave a review. Mo was patient with me as I browsed the lot looking for the best deal possible. I was originally looking at a Lexus, but it was a bit out of my price range. Mo suggested a Mercedes C230 Kompressor that he has gotten in the night before and was drying from being detailed. I checked out the Carfax, drove the car, and it seemed like a good fit. I decided to go ahead and buy it because the price was comfortable and it was in great condition, one owner, low mileage. My gripe here was that it was overpriced by about $1400 and there was no budging on price. I was in a position where I had a deadline to purchase a vehicle and couldn't afford to look around anymore, so there wasn't a whole lot I could do about that. It was less than I was expecting to pay for a car, so I was happy. I noticed the following day that it seemed to be jumpy when switching gears, 1st to 2nd and vice versa. My friend told me that amount of hesitation is normal in that type of car so I didn't think much of it. Yesterday I ended up taking it into the mechanic and he diagnosed a slow transmission leak. I doubt Mo would have known considering he had just gotten the car the night before I purchased it, so I don't have any hard feelings, but my wallet is now $368 sadder. And on top of that, the sunroof just stopped working, too. Still, these are things you have to anticipate with a used car. The process was time consuming, but pretty simple and Mo answered all of my questions and really did want to help me purchase the car (obviously he wanted to make the sale, but he wasn't pushy and seemed straightforward). Last gripe, he didn't even fill the tank before selling the car! I mean, come on now, it costs $50 to fill the gas tank and it was at 1/4 tank. I was pretty insulted by that. Buy at your own risk. They have cheap deals but the cars are usually very high mileage and may have "hidden" problems. Back in 2009, I bought a 2003 explorer from them for $6k. Three months later I had to have the transmission rebuilt. Luckily I had purchased an extended service plan directly from Ford. The sales guys were okay. Just be very aware of what you are buying and be sure to have your car double inspected! read more

I bought a 2000 Lexus gs300 from Moe 2 days ago and couldn't be happier. I had been looking all day, starting at the Qualcomm "Tent Sale" and also went to several other used luxury lots, dealing with dozens of douchey car salesmen. It was getting late and most places were closing down however I called in about their ad on Craigslist and Moe let me know that they were closed but said he'd meet me there if I was serious about buying a car. I met him up there and seen a car I liked, drove it, and wanted to buy it. The price was right but as a fellow salesperson I knew I could negotiate a better price. Moe wouldn't budge and said their cars are priced to sell since they get most of their business from the Internet, which sounded like bullshit. Since this was the best deal I seen all day I bought it anyway. Later that night I noticed my headlight was out and started to regret my purchase knowing that the xenon lights were expensive to replace and questioning the rest of the car. The next day I came back to complain and Moe rode with me to auto zone and bought me a new $100 headlight which he personally installed that night. I did not expect him to do it [since the paperwork I signed did not hold him liable] and definitely didn't expect him to replace it that night. All in all, Moe's a great guy. Very genuine, sincere, and will not pressure you. Auto gallery is a small lot with high quality cars that are well priced. I would highly recommend going there prior to any of the larger lots or "event". I still cannot find the car I bought online for a similar price without 2x the miles. read more

Decent dealer off of Midway Dr. Parking is tough, only street parking across from the dealer and maybe if you steal a spot at the bar next door. We parked across the street and made a dash like frogger across the road! hah There seemed to be a nice selection of cars but we were only there to look at one. The dealer was nice though. Not pushy at all and he was really knowledgeable about the car's history. He told us that a piece of the car had been repaired (which he didn't have to) and also told us what damage was on the car vs us finding out on our own. The car was in really great condition, great interior, and threw only 1 minor code when I scanned the engine. Price-wise, we got a good deal. Now the 1st day the car got posted online it was at cheap price and then later they decided to raise it, we called about it and he said he would give it to us for the lower price. They then bumped the price up afterwards. So, we were walking out with a good deal without having to haggle. The damage on the car was something broken with a door handle, he said he would fix it however if he did then he would bump the price back to the more expensive. I looked at it the repair and it's simple enough that I can do myself, so I told my friend to pass on that and take the lower price. That was whatever, I'd rather just have the lower price. They do in-house financing and the whole process took my friend around 30-40 minutes. The sucky part was that the car was all signed and done however it had not been smogged yet and because of that it was not ready to drive off the lot (cars need to pass smog when selling for the registration). So we'll have to come make another trip here...minor inconvenience. Just a good experience...nothing spectacular...Mellow dealer, good price, great car. read more

I called the first time and was told to come and test drive it, got there in 30 mins and the car was "sold." few days later called a again to see if the sale fell through and he said the car was "sold" an hour ago. i thought strange Ill try in a few days and see what they say..I call 2 more times and each time the car was "Just sold a few hours ago".. strange I guess they magically made a duplicate of the car multiple times. AVOID THIS PLACE. I agree with all those who thinks its shady. We pulled into the parking lot with the owner trying to start a Corvette that was clearly not working. First thought of this place, "Not all their cars are in working condition" We were thinking of buying the car that day with money in hand and wanted to test drive it. As soon as we leave the lot, the car starts to make a extremely LOUD ticking noise. Can't emphasize loud enough. During this time, of course the guy says that its totally normal and will go away which it did way later in the test drive. We get back to the dealership and I turn off the engine to inspect under the hood. It looks fine but I thought "something smells fishy". He brings out a can of WD-40 and sprays it all over the engine to make the noise go away. I start the engine again and what do you know, the sound comes back. He goes off about how the engine was cleaned out and the "chemicals" make it sound like this temporarily. He then suggests I take it to his trusted mechanics that are nearby. No way am I going to trust his own mechanics by paying them and telling me the same shit they probably tell all their customers. I asked to take it to my mechanic that I trust and he flips. He explodes that this is a great deal and nothing is wrong with it mentioning again I should take it to his trusted mechanics. Perhaps he freaked out that we wanted to take it to a professional mechanic and they would tell us all the HIDDEN problems with the car. We ran out of that place like no tomorrow. I bought a car here in 2007. About a year after I bought the car the paint started chipping. Eventually enough paint chipped away so that I could see a poor bondo repair and some rust. I'm absolutely loving my 2002 Lexus RX300 that is newly purchased from Auto Gallery. Super clean and super smooth, I cannot believe you can but a vehicle like this for just under $11k. It has 100k miles on it, but feels like it's just rolling off the the car dealership lot. My previous car was a 1993 Lexus GS300 that I bought w. 112k miles on and now has 163k miles and still runs very strong. So I have complete confidence in the Lexus name and have no problem buying a used Lexus w. this many miles. In fact, I can't ever foresee myself buying a new car when used cars like this are available at such incredible prices. Anyway, "Mo" at Auto Gallery asked me to write a review for him on Yelp, and I am happy to. My dealing w. him were very straightforward. Everything he said about the process and the product were right on target. I asked him if everything on the car worked and without missing a beat he said "everything works". Well, there must be SOMETHING that doesn't work. But sure enough, this is the first car I've ever owned (I've never purchased a new car) that I can't find anything that doesn't work. I originally came in on an early Sunday evening, and had test driven the vehicle and was very impressed. I tried to talk Mo down, but he wasn't interested. I offered to leave my phone number in case he wanted to reconsider, but he didn't want it. He knew that this vehicle was going to sell at this price. He had already baked any negotiated discounts into the asking price. So I went home thinking that I would be passing up on this purchase. But then I did some research. I checked the listings for this vehicle in Autotrader trying to find a similar deal within 100 miles. Nothing. Then I tried within 500 miles. Nothing again. Then I tried a nationwide search. There were a few vehicles that had the same year and mileage, but they were 2k to 3k more expensive. So I felt that I couldn't pass on this vehicle, not only because of the the fact that it was such a good deal on paper but also because I test drove the vehicle and got the feeling that the previous owner had really pampered it. So I got my loan at my Credit Union lined up on Monday and was the happy owner of an RX300 by Tuesday night. My experience w. I give Mo a 3.5... I put four because i have no way to give a half.. so I round up... I got a great SUV.. price was fair..Three weeks now.. I found some small problems, a few scratch's on front end I didn't see cause I always came at night. and a stain on the seat. Was not vacuumed very well, and found a cigarette burn in door handle. The back of the drivers seat keeps popping off,, looks like the previous owners kids kicked the hell out of the seats.. that sucked Mo and I had some difficulty on price, but we worked it out. I bought a mercedes s500 from them about two months ago. While on the test drive we noticed the left blinker on the mirror was out and the alignment was out. The owner, Mo, had the alignment and front tires replaced with the exact tires it had on the back. That alone cost him $360. The blinker was another $200 but they fixed it. Any further problems with the car are my responsibility. When you buy a used car test it out. Roberto let me inspect the car for about an hour while I tested everything.
