Stupid rock on the 405 put a chip in my windshield. So angry- especially since AGN in Irvine replaced the entire glass just 2 years ago. Spoke with Pearl after filing with my insurance, and she got me an appointment the next day. Alvaro suggested we start with a resin fill and see how that comes out. The resin fill came out great- way above expectations. 95%+ better. The glass was damaged, so the chip is still there, but barely visible and the fill should keep it from cracking any further. Even though the repair was covered by my insurance, their pricing is surprisingly cheap - and the fill is way cheaper than replacing the entire windshield. Highly Recommend. read more

Called a few other shops and settled on All Star for their pricing, especially for OEM glass. The process from calling in the appt/order to installation was convenient and easy. I had a terrible experience and would NOT recommend All Star Glass! First the technician brought the wrong window, then 5 days later, after the technician replaced the window there were 2 very noticeable areas where the paint was missing. I was told it was due to the weatherstripping glue and it was not their fault. I contacted the company to file a claim and they refused to help, even though on their website they claim "we offer a national warranty on our work and craftsmanship that is good for as long as you own or lease your vehicle". I ended up having to file a claim with my auto insurance to have the paint repaired so a $250.00 window cost me $500.00 and I was out of a vehicle for 3 weeks!! Plus the technician left broken glass all over my driveway which I had to clean up. This is totally unacceptable from a "professional" company! read more

Late Saturday afternoon my car was vandalized and the rear glass was shattered by a hammer or some other blunt object. The impact left a large defect measuring about 1x2 feet. There was more glass in the interior of the car than left in the rear glass panel. After reporting the event to my insurance company that day, the following Monday I received a referral to All Star Glass in Van Nuys. Within 30 minutes of my calling the shop they set an appointment for the following day [Tuesday] for glass replacement to be done at my home. The technicians [Hormoz and Seth] arrived on time. They explained the procedure and about 90 minutes later the job was complete with a significant amount of time being spent meticulously removing multiple shards of glass throughout the car. Both Hormoz and Seth did a terrific job, especially with regards to cleaning up the interior.. Both were extremely professional. Damn rock cracked my windshield going down the 101 and it was only getting bigger especially when I got car washes. I asked about the crack with my car dealer. They recommended to go through All Star Glass since they fix their windshield repairs. They also mentioned to go through my insurance. I contacted my insurance and they also recommended All Star Glass, but I can obviously use anyone. Out of all windshield repair places, I couldn't believe they were recommended to me 2/2 times. I wanted the same manufactured quality glass because my husband had a bad experience with his windshield being replaced elsewhere with shoddy glass, and my car is new with fancy safety features that needed special calibration. After talking with their rep, I knew I was in good hands. My husband dropped the car off. They test drove the car before doing any work to make sure the safety features worked. It took them a couple of hours and they test drove it afterwards to make sure it was the same as when it came in. Service was great and prompt with both the sales rep and the friendly technician. They did a great job. I've been driving for months and the windshield seems brand new. The down sides about this place were I had to call them several times to set an appointment, and there was somehow multiple quotes for my car. I found myself horrified when a tiny chip turned into a huge cracked windshield from driver to passenger side thanks to swiftly falling Tahoe temperatures in mid-February. I called my insurance company, USAA, which advised I select my own replacement vendor. I was going to be traveling to SoCal for work and saw great reviews for ASG. The scheduler (I believe her name was Katherine) was extremely friendly, informative, and helpful. Our glass had to be special ordered because of our built-in dash cam and other sensors. It arrived a day or two later, which was faster than expected, and Katherine called me to let me know. We scheduled the repair, but she then called back a little later to let me know that upon closer inspection, they had found imperfections in the glass and were sending it back. After a few more days, she called to let me know the new glass arrived with no impurities and got me scheduled. Luckily, ASG was perfectly on my route from a job in San Diego to LA, so in the middle of my business trip, I made my way to ASG and within just a few hours I was set to go. I got some work done on my computer while I waited and loved that the TV was showing classic shows including my all-time favorite, "227". The payment process was easy enough and after the insurance, my final out-of-pocket cost was just a few hundred dollars. Everyone at ASG was super friendly, even the technicians who gave me pointers and explained that the noise I'm hearing from our other car's windshield is likely due to an air pocket (who knew?). I hope to never have to have another windshield replaced, but if I do, I will absolutely call ASG again. read more

My car was broken into in my apartment garage and my insurance company booked my passenger glass repair with All Star Auto. My scheduled appointment was supposed to be for 10am and I had to actually call them at close to Noon to remind them. Fourkmaz (spell check) proceeded to tell me no he can't repair it inside of my garage because of lighting and offered a myriad of ways that I should just take it in to the shop. I was not given any notice of limitations on where the vehicle would need to be. I especially didn't want to drive it anywhere with glass shards in the seats. I told him I could bring it out to the street to repair. I found a spot and now hesitantly he was baffled as to where to park, which there were plenty options. I texted him and later told him verbally that my parking spot has a ton of glass as well that needed to be vacuumed. He told me "You would need to sweep that yourself"...and that he's needs to hurry up and get to his next job. Mind you they were already 2.5hrs late. I told him I was offered mobile service and this included vacuuming but again he didn't have time and he hopes I understand. After I asked his name, and now fed up just asking to get pay so he can go about his way, he then offers to clean up the spot. After close to begging and offering to vacuum it myself if I could use his equipment, now his tune changed because he knew I was ready to write a review like this. No, I no longer wanted him to clean it up and I will now be attempting myself. Wish me luck that I don't look like Edward Scissorhands after wards. read more

This is the first time I had to go into the location because I didn't need an entire window or windshield replacement. Just needed a very small hole filled - rock from the highway got it. The repair bays are off on the side street 1 block past Saticoy. I was there 45 minutes. Everyone is wearing a mask. Office staff are sitting on opposite sides of the room. There was 1 other customer and we were about 10 feet apart. Windshield is fixed- unless you knew it was there you wouldn't notice it. But it's not a cosmetic fix, it's a safety fix. If you want cosmetics, you buy a new windshield. They will always be my go to car glass repair or replacement. read more

I am pleased with the service I received from All Star Glass because I called at 8:30am yesterday morning and booked an afternoon appointment for the same day. This review will save you money. Read, as I am not just bickering! I have a 2010 Dodge Ram Truck. My back middle window busted out and a genius friend of mine slammed the bed and something cracked the center window. Sounds pretty easy huh? Nope! So I called Allstar glass, my go to place for years, they told me that the entire 3 pieces need to be replace, and the cost is $1000+ They said that I could make a claim with my insurance and that I would only be out $500 which makes sense. I though oh thats cool whats the soonest, they said 1 week later. I said okay thank you but 1 week is too long and that i would try one other place and call back. Thank Goodness I did! I decided to start with Dependable dodge, the company i bought the truck from, maybe they knew of a glass vendor they subcontract through. TO MY SURPRISE, they said they can quote me to just replace the middle window. I said no way cool really? They said of course. Their quote was $300 and change. They said they could have the part in the very next day. Told them i would call them back. I wanted to confirm this so I called the Gingle we all know, Safe lite repair safe lite replace! They told me that they could also replace just the center glass for $329 including tax as well! Well i am a loyal person for whatever reason so I decided to actually physically bring my vehicle by their shop All-star Glass on my way to lunch. Went into the place and told them Safelite and the Dodge dealership said you can replace just the middle piece. Instead of doing research or anything the snobby girl in the back said "OH look we have a new owner of allstar" ... ? Yeah so I told the guy what the other two places had told me, he had his tech look at the truck and said nope, $1000+ So i drove one block futher near the firestation where safelite has their shop, scheduled an appointment and $329 I have a new back window. Our Insurance Company, Electric Insurance which is a subsidiary of GE, referred us to All Star Glass to repair glass damaged during an attempted break in to my daughter's 2004 Volvo S60. The safety glass was damaged my multiple strikes but the window remained intact and working owing to the laminate on the glass. During the initial repair of the window glass, the working regulator was damaged by the technician, which resulted in a prolonged and frustrating process to get this damage attended to. Multiple calls and poor follow up by All Star Glass ultimately led us to split the cost of the regulator as it seemed like the necessary price to make this problem go away. I find it to be somewhat ironic that All Star Glass' website speaks with pride of winning the Customer Satisfaction Premiere Achievers Award, as our experience with All Star Glass showed a disregard for service and workmanship. I had a truck kick up a stone that left a chip on my windshield. last time that happened i ignored for a week until the chip turned into a crack and the crack turned into a new windshield. So I called around yesterday and a couple of fly-by-night sounding places offered to repair it for $45.00. I called All-Star Glass yesterday and they first quoted $69.00 but offered to match the $45.00. Since this is a real business with a location and insurance and a landline; I chose to go there and set up an appointment at 8 this morning. About 10-15 minutes later, my car was done. I can see where they repaired it, but of course I know right where to look. I think you all might have to squint to find the "scar". I am a happy camper. read more

My insurance wouldn't let me get my windshield replaced at the dealer so I took it to All Star Glass in Van Nuys. I was happily surprised at how genuinely nice and friendly the people working there were. The man replacing the windshield couldn't have been nicer. He finished sooner than expected and even buffed out a nasty scratch on my almost new car door. I didn't even ask him to do it! As it ended up, some of the work had to be done at the dealership. I was going to have to pay the dealership and then fight my insurance to get reimbursed. When they heard this, All Star offered to pay for it and they would deal with my insurance.
