Well, it finally happened, a rock flew up on the freeway and chipped my front windshield. And what started off as a 2 inch crack grew over a few days to over 6 inches is multiple directions. So I checked my insurance coverage and it was $100 deductible as long as it was with a provider in their network. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was easy to schedule online with Safelite with lots of convenient time slots and automated reminders.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I looked at the reviews here; I was a little hesitant... however, after my visit here, I was pleasantly surprised! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The front desk check in was super efficient and staff were very friendly and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiting areas were immaculate... there were many other customers waiting and no one looked disgruntled. Luckily they had the windshield in stock for my Jeep Wrangler and quoted around 2 hours for it to be replaced. I walked across the street to have breakfast and came back for them to have it done in 2 hours 20 minutes. My insurance company sent me here , and no, they didn't fix my windshield. they claimed I had a problem with the sensor on my car. I took my car to the dealership confirmed the problem wasn't what they said. In fact, I had no problem with the sensor in question. My insurance sent me to this place. A small chip turned into this after safelite "repaired" it. The sales person told me it happens all the time. I scheduled a replacement of our Audi windshield two days in advance. Paid $860 in advance for it as well. Took off work and drove 20 miles from home to get there today. Upon arrival, I'm informed they don't have the windshield, come back tomorrow. I get home and they call to tell me come back next Tuesday instead. In my opinion, these people couldn't manage their way out of a wet paper bag. Clearly they couldn't care less about the inconvenience this has put us through. Very disappointing experience. I was quoted one week for my windshield to arrive, but it took more than two weeks with no proactive updates. When I brought my car in, the service was supposed to take 4 hours but ended up taking almost 6. Do Not Come Here ! I brought in my car to get a window repair and now been 2 months and I'm still dealing with the window. I brought in my car and got the window replaced , somehow they broke my regulator and I wasn't able to roll down my windows but I was able to get the regulator replaced under warranty . Top to bottom, this was an unprofessional and deeply dishonest experience. If you don't have time to read this review in its entirety, just know this - taking your car here means your car will lose value on a resale due to terrible installation work. And, water will likely get into your car, causing mold and other issues down the line. I don't have time to get into all of the details, but I'll say - the work was done very poorly by a very junior (but very nice) tech. My car was left dirty and with a bunch of unused parts all over the floor when I received it back and that's something I can overlook. But, that's not the issue - I can clean my own car. The largest problems - The windshield was not properly installed leaving major gaps and having it be slightly askew, there is a chip on the side of the glass from the installation leaving it vulnerable to crack again, and now the interior of my car has many areas slightly off from the install. That will make sense when you see the photos. Also, there are chips in my paint, the black glue was incorrectly overused, so my white car has black smears on it that are permanent, the glue being overused also means the ceiling cover will not attach to the front of the car anymore and is hanging open. Overall, go ANYWHERE else to get this work done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I returned a week later for a "warranty repair" in order to have it all addressed, I was told, "Oh I remember you. You're the woman who thought she heard something and came back."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When their poor installation left a rattling in my car that I noticed and had to turn right back around and have addressed that same day (after my almost 8 hours at their shop), the tech who serviced my car could not figure out what he did. I then found parts hanging that I reattached in front of them and it addressed the sound. So, no, sir, I didn't THINK I heard a sound, there WAS a sound. This started our interaction and he said the glue was just bubbled up and it was normal. I said I was concerned with the resale value and he laughed and said, "I don't think people are going to notice that." BE VERY CAREFUL when doing their alleged "warranty" repairs - when it is on their dime, they push back and say, "no". Also, he said they were not responsible for the install issues I was "seeing" because the water was not going to get into the car and that is all they guarantee, not that the work doesn't damage the car. He said if they needed to reinstall for the water damage, then they would address the other issues (but he also said there were no issues, so what?!?!). He also had to bring out a tool to fix some of the work the previous tech had done, as he looked at me and said that there were not any issues. If you're fixing issues in front of my face and telling me there are no issues, that's the same as peeing on my leg and telling me it is raining. DO NOT take your car here. My one year old car will look like this until I sell it. This place is shady, at best. read more

My first appointment with these guys and they did not disappoint. The biggest smile and friendly customer service with the gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name is Kelly) already gave a welcoming vibe. Paid at the desk before I handed over my key to Wilber with his wonderful team...he had patience with me and my questions, my "what if's" with future issues, and even offered different options when considering costs. Service took about 3 hours to replace the windshield, since my car also needed recalibration with the technology. I brought some work with me so I was ready to wait; their waiting room looks really nice and open. Lots of chairs and some tables, for groups or solo seating, and a tv for your viewing pleasure. Restrooms were also available. For those who need to eat, there's a mini plaza across the street with a 7/11 if you plan on waiting for your car to be serviced. Overall, expectations have been met and the awesome customer service made the whole facility just much more inviting. These guys were really busy and the line can get long, so make an appointment early in the day if your schedule allows it. Bravo, gentlemen!! read more

This was 9/7, and it is now 9/13 and no call, not even to apologize[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (let's not even mention that they have no one to solve any issues on Saturdays). On top of that, they disabled the "Eyesight" (which was working perfectly fine after the first recalibration) from my Subaru so I get a big message on the console that it is disabled and a daily email from Subaru saying there's something wrong with my car. If I were you, I would take it somewhere else where 1)they have good customer service; 2) they know what they're doing; 3) they don't make you waste valuable time. I now see why this place has the rating it has. I had an appointment here at 9:30am it is now 1:03pm and I'm still here waiting with my two kids. I have other things I had to do at 12:30 pm! Since the time I've been here other people walked in after me with no appointment and got their windshield repaired and they left. I had an appointment which I figured I would be priority over any walk-ins after me. I guess not! Perhaps it's because the way I came dressed they figured they would make me wait. This place is a hot mess, please save yourself time and frustration and don't do business here. I have the first available appointment time at 8 am. I was told the service would take approx 2 hours since it had to be calibrated. I gave them the keys and walked home, about 35 minutes. At around 10:30 I figured the repair would be close to being finished so I walked back and sat in the waiting room for about an hour. Close to 12 I walk up to the customer service desk to get an estimate on when the repair would be finished and I was told they are about to try and calibrate the windshield. It threw me off since I figured they would have done that by then, almost 4 hours after my appointment time. They then come back and tell me they are not able to calibrate my car cause the servers are down. They then give me the option to sign a waiver and drive off without my safety features working since they couldn't calibrate it or just leave my car there and they will "try" tomorrow. I asked, "how do we know if it will work tomorrow?" which they said they wont know until they try??? So now I either have to leave with half the work done and no safety features or wait until tomorrow to possibly get the same outcome which would have then made it a two day repair..... two days. I was quoted two hours!!! After having doubts about signing this waiver due to not having my safety features active, Kelly the not so customer service advocate was sarcastic and rude while telling me "just drive your car like before safety equipment existed and use your mirrors and breaks.........What???? So be rude and condescending to me cause your company cant deliver what you promised??? Then I had to get them to remove the calibration charge from the invoice since they couldn't do it and that took another 2 hours while going back and forth trying to figure out why it took them so long to notify me that calibration was not possible. While looking at the charges I noticed they were going to charge my insurance company $1155.77 but when I went online and was going to not use my insurance the quote was $869.22 total. That's $286.55 less then they were going to charge the insurance company....same parts, same labor. Sounds like fraud to me. After 7 hours.....7 hours I finally drove off with half the job done, a ton of frustration and still need to figure out what to do. While waiting I also noticed they had issues with the other two customers who were also waiting. One guy, they told him they replaced the glass but somehow it broke again lol and they would need him to go back again and another lady they ordered the wrong glass, again, for the second time. This place is full of clowns and you will not be happy coming to this place, please read the reviews and listen to them. UPDATE: After 5 weeks passed, 20 check in emails and not a single response, they finally came to my house to repair the piece after i was able to contact the Safelite 1800 number and as "coincidence" would have it they had the part in their possession that day. When they came to my house, sure enough, it was the wrong, unpainted part and the tech had not even bothered to open the box before arrival. So now 8 weeks has passed and our car is still missing a piece. I have emailed Deija Parker multiple times asking for an update and a call and she has not responded once. They sent out a repair person with a replacement piece of glass and unfortunately it did not fit because of accessories that were on the rear of my car. it turned out that we needed a factory piece of glass from Lexus and special clips in order to replace the window. After many attempts and a lot of back-and-forth with Lexus, the people at Safelite were successful in replacing that glass through no fault of theirs, it took about two months. I am very grateful to Stephanie & Richard for their diligence, their professionalism and their eye for detail and never ending efforts in finishing my job.
