I discovered HAWK Auto as I was looking for a used hybrid sedan online and found a 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid in excellent condition. I called the number listed in the ad and Sean (co-owner) responded to my voicemail within the day. I must admit, at first I was hesitant about this dealership which was simply warranted by appearances of the facility, which are rugged and more shop-oriented. However, the associates and owners at HAWK have a high level of integrity which is shown through their excellent customer service, the quality of vehicles they choose to carry, the extremely high level of product knowledge, and their desire to build relationships with each of their customers. Sean & Mario both were willing to spend the required time with my wife & I to ensure our questions were fully satisfied and that we were comfortable with the transaction. At no time did we feel pressured to make a purchase, nor were we made to feel like we were a burden when our due diligence took longer than might be typical. My experience listed here is most definitely worthy of a high review, but the extra-ordinary aspect of my experience with HAWK comes in to play several months following the purchase of the vehicle. The title of the purchased vehicle was delivered via certified mail the very week I was moving houses and tragically became misplaced. After months of looking through papers & boxes, we deemed the title lost. Unfortunately, the vehicle had not been registered and now we had to get a replacement title. After contacting the DOT, the insurance company and the lien holder, all counsel suggested the dealer would have to request a replacement title. What made this extremely difficult was HAWK purchased the vehicle through an auction house in GA, who purchased the vehicle from a leasing agent in FL. Each transfer in ownership was hand-written on the title, so the last recorded registration was still in FL. In order to get the replacement title, Sean was required to spend a tremendous amount of time researching, tracking down involved parties, and initiating on my behalf the request for replacement title. This process spanned many months, involving multiple hours of work on HAWK's part in order to remedy the issue, and Sean was always quick to respond and very professional with each correspondence. At no time was I ever made to feel like I was a nuisance or inconvenience, which I know this issue must have been a large source of frustration for Sean. I do not know of many used dealers that would have put in the time and effort for a single customer who had already made a purchase. This, to me, goes way above and beyond the typical expectations of a used dealer and Sean has demonstrated his dedication to me as a customer. For that I cannot give him a high enough rating and I will always go to HAWK Auto for all of my used vehicle needs in the future.

He does have a very nice, and very helpful assistant who deals more with the hands on part of the business. I have been back to see the owner a few times since purchasing my vehicle for various reasons, and he has always made time for me to answer questions and help me find a missing part, etc. I felt that the negotiation of my trade in and agreeing on a price for the vehicle I wanted to buy, was a very fair and pleasant experience. An example is when I couldn't get my key fob to unlock the door. We called him and asked him if he knew any tricks, and he went to the trouble of sending his assistant over to where my car was parked. His assistant helped us identify that the battery to the key fob had the wrong battery in it, and it wasn't being reliable. The amount of money that was saved by this generous gesture, and offering us the expertise of his assistant to come all the way to meet us and help us was just over and above the call of duty in my opinion. And my wife and I both feel that if more people who sold cars had the integrity and consideration that this gentleman who owns the business has for his customers, more people would have a pleasant car buying experience. Needless to say, I highly recommend him! PS: I attend church with a woman who owns an auto shop with her husband, and she also knows him and is also a BIG fan of his. This is a great guy to buy a car from!

He had to pay $200 to get it towed to the dealership then to proceed to wait a week for the repair without being called it got completed and the day he picked it up. It failed not long after that. Then to have to proceed to pay another $200 to get it towed back and it not be reimbursed due to being told that the fuel in the truck is bad which would now require a cleaning for an additional $939. He is a military service member who relies on his vehicle on a daily basis and it's not the timeframe of the repair because I know we're not the only people on this planet that need our car to be taken care of, but however, the fact that we are being told that he has to now pay out of pocket when there is no proof that it is not the dealership's fault. If this is how you take care of your military service members, I'd hate to see how you take care of a civilian like me. We will be contacting corporate along with the Better Business Bureau because there's no way you should get away with screwing people like that.

Before an hour of driving the ABS light came on. No way they didn't know about these conditions. Took to ford, about 1500.00 to replace ABS module and RCM module. Shady business. I wondered why they had it in the shop getting it ready, clearing the codes. Paid 25K verified cash for vehicle. Said they couldn't give me the title for f14 days. Today was day 14, still no title. He was complaining about that it cost him $1200 to get it fixed like that was my fault. hey, you should've had the car fixed before you sold it Yes he did give me a loaner. The first loaner was a Honda Civic I'm 6 foot even 250 pounds the car was too small when it got cold the car did not want to start up so I took the car back finally put me in something decent was infinity Until my car got fixed once I got my car back from the dealership my check engine light came back on called him and told him he said they not gonna fix it because of the sensor I'm like but if I would've hit something they would've tore off another sensor because it was a sensor right next to it. They just the dealership put on a broken part. He didn't want to take it back up to the dealership because he said they was gonna Go to fix it I was gonna cost him another 1200 so he said the park cost $400. He made me pay so he made me pay half of the 400 for the part part which I don't think the part cost that much because he got it from O'Reillys so he probably got a discount on the part now I had to put my car back in the shop due to a recall, and I've been without a car for three days like this is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with I wish I could just give the car back. I'm so tired of this. Then on top of that, he was telling me to tell the loan people that the car is not in the shop like I wish I would've told the loan people. That the car was in the shop so that could reject the loan smh.....
