I would not recommend this auto shop to anyone. My vehicle was here for over 3 months (since December 18, 2025) for front-end/radiator damage and a no-start issue. From the beginning, I was told over and over that my car would be ready "tomorrow," but that day never came. Every time I called, I got a different excuse and no real answers. What's even worse is that they later admitted my car had been pushed around the shop the entire time it was there. The vehicle never cranked once while in their possession, which means they never had it in a condition to properly diagnose anything. Despite that, they still claimed they tested it and told me I needed a new engine, which makes absolutely no sense. Instead of being honest that they could not get the car started or properly diagnose it, they kept my vehicle for months, gave me the runaround, and then tried to push a costly engine replacement. When I had my own mechanic inspect the car, I discovered ignition coils were missing and connectors were unplugged -- the car was not even fully reassembled. A vehicle in that condition cannot be accurately diagnosed, and it explains why they were unable to start it in the first place. After removing my vehicle, they admitted they did not have the missing parts that were originally on my car. That is completely unacceptable. I also paid $3,500 out-of-pocket, and my car was still not running. Meanwhile, they had no problem quickly taking and completing the insurance-paid portion of the work, but failed to address the main issue. To make matters worse, my vehicle was ransacked while in their possession, and personal items including credit cards were used without authorization. This raises serious concerns about how they secure customers' vehicles. At the end of the day, this is an auto body shop, not a mechanical repair shop, and it shows. If they can't even properly get a car started to diagnose it and instead push it around for months you definitely should not trust them with major repairs like an engine. Go else where they don't know what they are doing and will take your money SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! A lot of the reviews on google are fake and they make sure to do right the first time get a review and do you dirty next. Had to bring my vehicle back 3 times for the exact same issues after the 3rd time the exact same issues were there still. Paid for a brand new mirror and they bought a used one off ebay. Paint job terrible, camera in mirror not calibrated. Parts guy lied and said i asked to keep my deductible down i never spoke to him until the last time i picked it up and i was hit so i had no deductible. Auto point on Bel Air Rd. has always done a wonderful job on repairing my cars over the years. I had a side rear ended car crash accident. I took it there for the repairs to be done and they took good care of my car. It looks a feel like a new car. They exchanged parts and did a paint job as well. I will NOT be giving any stars!!! My whole experience from start to finish was HORRIBLE. I was involved in a hit and run 4/18. Car got towed there 4/21 . I am just getting my car back today 6/13. They claimed they offer free rentals I not once was offered a rental. The lack of communication with them is HORRIBLE. They did a piss poor job on my repairs but had NO PROBLEM contacting my insurance to get more money for "other stuff " that needed repaired. A tow company damaged my vehicle and completely ripped off my front bumper! I had to get my attorney involved because they initially did not admit any wrongdoing! I took the vehicle to AutoPoint and not only did they help me hold Manheim responsible, but assisted in getting me alternate transportation and expedited the whole process! Shane is a great guy!! DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! THEY F...KED my car up! I went in for a brake job at 9 a.m. That's it! The mechanic broke a bolt in my caliber. No one called to tell me. I called 5 to 6 times asking about my car. Its being worked on. 6 p.m. in the evening I go there, shop is closed. Mechanic out the back smoking with a buddy. I didn't have my phone or my house keys so I was kinda stranded. They helped me every step of the way and got me back in my car quickly. I took my car in for brake service . I called on Saturday evening November 2nd and was told I could bring my car in at 9am on Monday November 4th . Everything was fine until Now . I have been waiting for my car for over 8 hours after being told it would be anywhere from 2- 3 hours . I selected AutoPoint because it was close to my job . The excuse from the staff was that Parts were slow to come in and that they were short staffed . I am completely livid because now I am currently stuck on Belair Road when I live in Owings Mills. My job closed at 3pm and I have no way to get home until they finish my car . I feel that they should have told me that earlier that either (1) . The car would take an extended amount of time to fix or (2) . To pick the car up the next day . This place could be good but it was a complete mess due to poor communication and an inability to time their services appropriately. So now I'm stuck here on Belair roar until my car is finished.
