As for Cadillac CTS, Bill Dodge seemed to have better discount rate from MSRP than O'Connor. As for Toyota Prius, Charlie's Toyota in Augusta has many of new Toyota Prius, Toyota Lee in Brunswick has more used Prius than anywhere else. Smart Questions to Ask the Dealer Don't be afraid to ask questions! Not only will asking smart questions ensure you get a great deal, it will enable dealers to find the car you want! * Which trim level are you quoting a price for? * Do you have additional available trims? What is the difference in pricing between the trims? * What color is the vehicle? * What additional or dealer installed options are included? * What is the cost of these additional options on top of the invoice price? * Does your pricing include Taxes and Registration fees? * Does your pricing include destination charges? * Does your pricing already account for rebates or incentives? * Are you able to lower the offer to beat competitor pricing? Track & Evaluate Dealer Offers Don't go to the dealer empty handed! Once you've found the best offer, print this page for reference. 1. Document dealer price offers below to locate the best deal for the car of your choice before visiting the dealership. 2. Remember, prices vary based on trim levels and options, use our list of Smart Questions to Ask the Dealer to ensure the price quotes you receive are for the car you want. 3. Compare each dealer offer to bottom line and suggested buy prices to see who has the best price! How to find second hand car here in Brunswick manual: Tip 1. Go to craigslist car listing by owner and dealer http://maine.craigslist.org/cta/ Narrow down make, price, and year. Our first pick: put Less than $3000, then looked for newer than year 2000 and less than 140,000 miles... Second pick: just typed Prius, and compared year, miles, and price Tip 2: Ask around and keep your eye on the used car dealer on the way to the target dealer or private owner for the test drive. We were recommended "Craft Auto" on 196 and saw cheap cars less than $3000 at "The shop" on 196 (Lisbon) Tip3: Google certified dealers and call them to find out if they sell the car (color, model, package, year) you want and price. Tip4: Find out price and availability of the car in Hawaii through craigslist and calling dealer in Hawaii. This help you to pick what kind of car you want ( considering price depreciation, premiums) I personally also checked price in Japan with Carsensor considering many scenarios. Checking price in Hawaii helped me to get more discount, when dealer was trying to give me only $4000 discount. "It is exact same price with ones in Hawaii!! I can not buy anything which is not cheaper than ones in Hawaii. New car depreciate $8000 immediately after we purchase. How can we resell the car??" Like that ....Having more information help you to get the best deal. Tip5: Price negotiation Always have the price from Kellybluebook, consumer guide. Never buy over priced. Dig more info. with Carfax and cost of owning price. Google any discount, coupons, you can find before you buy (Ex. $750 USAA member discount) Important advice from Captain: Make sure if under the car is not rusted (Typical for the car 5 year or older ) and make sure to get " under coated to prevent the rust from snow and salt". As for registration in Hawaii, while you are in Maine, will be added later.

Please read full review…read more I bought a 2005 Volvo S40 T5 from them in February 2013 and I've nothing but problems since. Because I paid what the car was worth and not what they wanted for the car I did not receive a warranty. Ok, if I'm buying a good car I shouldn't need a 30 day warranty anyway so I should be safe. The car made it 75 days when the head gasket went. The car was in the shop for two months after the head gasket repair because of a timing code. I then had to take it to a Volvo dealer because the first shop couldn't figure out what was wrong. The out come is a junk engine that needs to be replaced. That aside you really can't predict mechanical failure so let me move on to the "Brand new tires". They were hung up on the new tires that they had put on, and pushed quite a bit during the sale. After a short time it would appear that an alignment was never done, so my new tires started cupping. After blowing off some steam in this review and being quite frustrated with my situation, my wife decided to call the dealer just to inform them of what was going on. The owner Derek was quick to respond to her and talk through the issue, but quite frankly Lake City doesn't owe us anything. Because I did not receive a warranty as part of the bargaining process and I would have been beyond the warranty time line anyway. What happened next is the surprise and how every person should run a business. Derek contacted me and said that he would have the tires replaced because it's obvious that something was not right. AND because he wants to take care of his customers the best he can, he's going to give me some money towards the engine replacement. I really appreciate Lake City Exports' customer loyalty and the help that they have given me, above and beyond what they should have. If you ever purchase a vehicle from them and have an issue large or small contact them right away and I'm sure they'll help if they can. Thank you Lake City for your customer care.

Bought my truck with just over 80,000, (just voiding their extended warranty that goes until…read more80,000), for around $26,000 listed price. (Under 100 miles over 80,000) Timing chain went on truck within 2 months. IWE system started being noisey within a month and half. Still isn't right after the dealer has looked at it 3 times. And when I called and asked if they could just hook me up with a mechanic that could get in sooner than the dealer, (I literally stated I don't expect them to do a thing for me as I'm outside their warranty), I got "what do you expect us to do for you". Did end up calling his mechanic who basically told me their first apt availability was a month out. I would say "Buy with confidence" anywhere else and I truly hope this helps someone in the future when looking at their motto.
