I have been taking my cars to this place for over 4 years now. They have done all types of services on my cars from oil change to break jobs, transmission.... all done vary professionally. Rab is the owner and a professional mechanic. Well I went there to get my motor home smoged. My motor home seemed to run ok on the way there, not so good on way home. Ok so it failed the guy told me it was running really rich and my carb need adjusted 150.00 and new plugs,wires,cap,rotor 265.00 dollars . So I go home and look a spark plug wire was off and to top it off its fuel injected so if the plug wire is off its dumping all the fuel into exhaust no wonder it ran rich. So all and all I put my plug back on (free) took it else where and it passed. So I'm out 90.00 going to this guy. At least I didn't give him the 510.00 total read more

I made an appointment for my car. When i brought it in they said i still had to wait 6 hours before my car was look at. This place totally SUCKS and their customers services skills are NONE. I've used this company about 15 or 20 times on 4 different cars. Learned about them from my father in law. Now much of my family and lots of friends and coworkers use Auto Repair for Less. I've had amazing service in times with a tight deadline or when I have problems on the weekend. Rab is very good at giving an estimate and then sticking to it or beating it. He even fixed our explorer door handle thats broken 4 times. Now it feels rock solid and it was just an extra $10 on an already reasonably priced brake job. One time he stayed late so we could pick the car up. I have some pretty old cars with high mileage but after Rab checks them out I don't worry about driving into the mountains for 8 hours straight. They even did an onsite repair for a friend of mine so they could skip the tow costs. The review that gave 1 star sounds totally wrong to me. If they did have a problem, probably with an employee or a mistake of some type let Rab know about it and he would certainly make it right. Above all else he is the most honest mechanic I know of. I have been going to Rob for a few years and was very satisfied with the quality of service he provided. But things began to change. It's almost like he began to take advantage of me because he saw that I trusted him and I was a frequent customer. He hit me hard a couple times for a repair and at that point I began to get uncomfortable with him. I recently took my Passat for engine and transmission oil change and I did my homework ahead of time. I found out the prices of the parts from the VW dealer and wanted Rob to order the parts because he gets them for a discount. I'm not saying he'll sell me the parts for his discount because I know he makes profit from that, but I noticed he overcharged for some of the parts. I even had the paper from the dealer listing all the parts with their price on it. He began to answer like I was an idiot and started smart talking about how the dealer deal differently with the shops than with customers. Then he began talking about one VW dealer doesn't deliver and this and that and yada yada. Basically couldn't justify himself. I showed him the paper and he agreed to bring down the price slightly, then we agreed and they began to work on the car. The parts didn't get delivered until 2 HOURS LATER!!! And not all the parts came in the delivery. What the hell!?!?! This whole time I stood outside watching everything they were doing and noticed Rob order an engine filter that wasn't from the dealer, it was a cheap aftermarket. This is how we was able to go down on the price without telling me. I told him from the beginning that I wanted all dealer parts, simple as that. When I saw that they were installing a cheap aftermarket filter, I stopped them and said this is not what I asked for. So the technician stops and tells Rob, then Rob acts angry at him (which all seemed played out) for not knowing what part to install. Rob tells me the part is on it way and I said okay. Another 2 HOURS GO BY!! No part. Mind you I've been there this whole time waiting. I ask him and tells me to call the dealer and check on the order which was very unprofessional. Anyways for the sake of getting the hell out of there I call and they come within 10 minutes with the part. The technician then says to me "Are you happy?". I couldn't believe that I got so furious I was about to curse them out and spit in their face, but I kept my calmness waited for him to finish just so I can get the hell out of there. Once he did I payed and left. I will never go back to that place. I was too nice and patient with him but I learned my lesson. Be careful if you go there because he might be nice in the beginning, but will try to screw you over later. read more

My son dropped off the car Saturday morning they did not look at it until Sunday evening and then they said they could not figure out what was wrong with it. He opened the hood to find there were parts that were not connected, hoses, etc. There was also scratches on the truck and the hood no longer stays open on its own. read more

I've been going to Rob for years now with multiple cars. I'm practically a member of the family. He's honest, friendly and does a good job. He never tries to rip me off. For example, I went to the other place across the parking lot from Rob recently. They wanted $1400 plus a $100 diagnostic for the same thing Rob fixed for $300. I have no idea what these other jokers are talking about - nothing probably makes them happy. I've recommended others use Rob and he's always given them a good deal. read more
