I first went to Patrick 31 years agoa. I was told by several mechanics that I needed a new clutch which would of been lost of money. so I went looking for quotes. Patrick found out the clutch just needed to be adjusted at a big savings. I have gone to him for 31 years driving all the way from Gwinnett. Many times his honesty saved me money and his work was always excellent with low rates. His shop is a little big of a hole in the wall but he and his son James are excellent. They know what they are doing and will do their best to fix your car properly at the lowest price. My only gripe is they don't answer the phones on a regular basis. Patrick is the best mechanic I have ever had. His pricing is fabulous (usually about 1/3 to half off what the dealership or any other mechanic in the box charges). He is honest and reliable. Although the shop is small, and it's difficult if you want to wait there for the work to be done, the work itself is well worth it! It's a good idea to call ahead to check the schedule and get parts ordered. read more

Couple of years ago, my Toyota would randomly not start, so I took it to Patrick. He kept it for 4 days trying to replicate the problem, but couldn't. When I came to pick up the car, he explained that while he found a couple of ground wires that were loose and he fixed them, he couldn't be sure that was the root of the problem, so there was no charge. At that moment, Patrick became my mechanic for good. And he's right near Roxx and Johnny's Pizza, so if you have to leave your car for a couple of hours, yum. read more

This guy is an awesome mechanic. I took in my 71 blazer after I thought I blew a Coolant hose. Turned out my battery had exploded. He noticed a hose that was about to get ripped through because it was too long. Also I have always had some difficulty with cold starts. Takes a long time to warm up. I thought it was normal. He took a look at everything and said my choke thermostat was worn out. Never heard of this piece. He recommended I order and install myself so I did and I could not believe the difference that one little spring could make. I now have no stalls after starting no trouble starting on first ignition even after not driving for weeks. I will say that it is really hard to get a hold of anyone on the phone and callbacks are iffy. Seems to me like he knows he does a good job and has enough business so "customer service" is not that important. I will take my car back there for new issues....if I can get a hold of him. read more

They are excellent mechanics, very thorough and very honest. We have taken all our cars to them over the past couple of years including two with over 150,000 miles and an old BMW with parts that are hard to find. We have been very satisfied with the work that was done. They explain everything that needs to be done before they do any work and don't recommend doing work unless it is absolutely necessary. read more

I recently took my auto to Patrick's even though I heard quite a bit of people saying they had bad experiences with his service. I should have listened. Not only was my auto no repaired correctly, but he also damaged my auto. I tried to get him to make it right, but he had attitude and it ended up costing me almost $1000 already and the original problem is not repaired. Please don't make the same mistake I did, take your auto business elsewhere. read more
