My total was $175 dollars for an oil change... no add ons no air filter change, nothing... just an oil change. They advertised 115 on the sign and then my total came to 175. I asked why and they said because it was only the first 5 quarts. My car takes 8, so it was 3 extra quarts that were 15 dollars a piece and that totaled 175 dollars.. they gave me a discount only because no one informed me that I needed three extra over the first 5 and I complained about it. I will never ever go back to this place. Incredibly expensive and it took OVER one hour. I was sitting in my car from 8:15 until 9:30am. I needed a transmission oil change and as I called around, shops were telling me they needed a week in advance and a couple of hours with a high charge, then I called Oilstop, where they were incredibly kind on the phone and said not only would they take me immediately, but it would only take them about 45 mins. When I arrived, everyone was kind, took me in right away, explained everything they were doing, showed me what oil they were using, offered me a water. Best oil service I have received. I went in on 5/23/26. I went around 5pm. And there was a little bit of a wait. But it was almost closing time on a Saturday. The service I was given was above and beyond anything I expected! Especially from Kaitlyn! But the whole crew was fabulous. I'm not car savvy at all and they helped me through the process without making me feel like I was being ripped off. They tried to fix my low beam that was out in the front, and when they couldn't they just put my old bulb back in and didn't charge me for it. On May 17, 2025, I brought my 2020 Nissan NV200 here for a basic oil change. Instead, I was misled and sold services I did not need, with the wrong fluids installed: They put in the wrong oil (5W-30 Dexos, which is for GM cars), even though Nissan requires 0W-20 synthetic. They claimed my coolant was low and sold me a flush at only 37,000 miles. Nissan's schedule clearly states the first coolant replacement is at 10 years/105,000 miles. They used the wrong coolant (generic "extended life" instead of Nissan Blue). They used a suction method to remove oil instead of draining it properly. After the service, they told me my oil change was "only good for 3,000 miles," which is false -- Nissan specifies 5,000-7,500 miles. They didn't even give me a printed invoice at the time of service -- they only emailed it later, which violates state law. Because of this, I had to go to Nissan and spend over $400 to have the fluids corrected. Nissan confirmed Oilstop's work was wrong. I live with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), and this shop took advantage of me by selling unnecessary services and lying about what my car required. That is not just bad service -- it's fraud. I have already filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. My advice: go to your dealer or a trusted mechanic. Do not let Oilstop near your car. read more

I've been coming to this location for years and have brought 4+ cars here consistently. I've also recommended this place to many friends and family because the customer service has always been great. Even when prices started going up, I continued coming back because I trusted the people and the service. I actually live pretty far away, but the way I was treated made it worth the drive. During my last visit, the staff gave me a $25 off coupon for my next oil change and clearly stated that it had no expiration. Later on, a manager told me there was suddenly a two-week expiration and then claimed the coupon was meant for me to hand out to friends or relatives. That was never explained when the coupon was given to me. What really disappointed me isn't the coupon itself -- it's the sudden shift in attitude. As a long-time, loyal customer, it felt like the business is now more focused on squeezing every dollar, rather than valuing the people who have supported them for years. That's not the experience that kept me coming back. It's unfortunate, because this used to be a place I trusted and stood behind. After this experience, I don't think I'll be returning, and it may be time to find somewhere closer to home. read more

I feel very confident about the service provided. When I did have a problem last service, it was addressed properly the next day when I returned. I also questioned a service charge of over $100 for two Qts of ATF to be changed on my manual transmission Chevrolet. 5qts of synthetic oil and filter was less that 2 qts of ATF drained and changed. No explanation why, just a blank stare. The other issue I have is that the variety of oil viscosity has been limited to new cars and as such I have 4 cars I cannot get serviced by your staff. read more

Such a great place to get a quick oil change! I was in and out within 30 minutes. The guys that work here are very knowledgeable and helpful. Muzzy and Marcos helped me out today, very polite! What I learned from asking questions... depending on your car and the type of oil you put in it, your next oil change may not be for another 3,000-10,000 miles.. I get full synthetic and I have to change my oil every 6,000 miles (according to my car setting) which is what I do! Also, you don't have to buy what they offer or recommend. I've come to this place twice, the first time when they stated they didn't have the filter for my crossover, the management told staff to tell me "we currently do not have your filter in stock, but what you can do is go to Autozone, buy the filter, and we will take off the filter charge and give a discount to you." Well, I did what they asked, and because I was exhausted from the entirety of the day and just wanted to get my oil change done. I didn't bother to check the charges on my receipt until I got home to find out, no, they didn't take off the filter fee nor did they give a discount on the oil service. This was back in August/September. It was my fault for not double-checking before leaving the facility, however, I felt that the service provided by the staff was good. And thought to myself "the staff was good and it's an honest mistake." So today, about a few months have passed since I've been here, I came back, but this time I was stopped at the entrance, an employee approached me and said the exact same thing, "Hello, I have my manager over there... we don't have your oil filter in stock, but what you can do is go to Autozone and buy the filter, and come back. Then we can deduct the price of the filter, and give a discount." I politely declined and left, if you have a Volvo XC series, do not come here--they apparently lack the common sense to just place a sign that they don't service this type of vehicle. read more

Not coming back. $190 for a change w/ cabin air filters (they don't stock the 2 under the hood or it would have been four. They tried to sell me a bunch of other work. $500 or so worth. And it took about an hour and a half to get the service done. I sat in the hot sun waiting. Once in the facility, I was trapped. Cars and trucks running their engines inside - great - I now have an awful headache. I ended up spending $190. And it could have been $700. The attendant mumbles. And fumbles. I now get to go vacuum out my car from the mess they left from changing the oil filter. I'm going back to my usual shop. So the note after this from the manager asks me to send my contact info. I did. I have heard nothing. Let me do the math. Two catrs, both get oil changes 2x a year. Thatis 2x2=4. I spend between 140-250 each time or roughly $560 or $1,000 a year. That's what I'm worth. Sorry it's not enough for you to invest in a note or cal. read more

It's convenient, you dont have to leave your car and wait in some lobby, because everything is done while your in your car. My tip for anyone who uses them is to get a piece of cardboard and put it under your engine of your car when you get home, because what's inconvenient, is they don't clean up the oil mess they make before you drive off and the excess oil they leave drips on your driveway or garage floor for a few days. Beware. I have taken my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan here for its last three oil changes. It has yet to drive 50K miles, and I drive it locally 90% of the time. This place has been suggesting that I change the oil in my car every three months, and since I don't know much about cars, I have just been going with it. Today, having the oil changed every three months was a little excessive, especially knowing that my car does not get driven in excess. I called a Volkswagen dealer today, and I was told that if the vehicle is serviced with the proper synthetic oil (which I have been told at this oil stop they are using the correct oil), it should only need an oil change every 7500 to 10,000 miles or once a year. I called the oil stop to find out why they recommended that I get an oil change every three months, every 3,500 miles, or something similar. The person told me that I should read the manual to learn the proper maintenance of the car, and the same person continued trying to explain why they had been advising the wrong recommendation for my type of car. They have supposedly been using the correct synthetic oil. The listed price for this service is $125.00, and with me not accepting any other recommendations, the total at the end was $160.00. This price included a fee for extra oil that they say was needed to complete the service. If you are considering driving to this place, please do some research first. They are unfamiliar with or do not have access to information on how to service different car brands. The most frustrating part of the situation is that when I brought up my concern, the person said, "Check your car manual." If you have a Volkswagen vehicle, it might be worth taking it to a VW dealer for an oil change, as the price is practically the same. read more

These folks have always been great whenever I've brought them one of my cars. Just an FYI for you folks out there with lower sports cars, you should check them out if you're not changing your own oil. My previous Mustang was quite low on static suspension and it was serviceable here.
