We brought our 2015 Avalon in to have the front arm rests and console reupholstered. James responded to my phone message via text almost immediately. I looked online for a business to upholster my boat seat and sun deck. I came to this business because of the great reviews. When I took my boat in, I saw their schedule board was completely full. Even though they were very busy with phone calls and other customers, they fit me right in and gave me the price within 10 minutes. They told me it would be a couple weeks which was understandable since I saw all the things they already had scheduled. They finished late on Saturday and called me but it was 20 minutes before closing at 2PM. I couldn't make it there by closing, so the owner, James offered to meet me today, even though they are closed on Sunday's. They replaced the sagging headliner in my old Honda Civic in August 2018. The new headliner looked like it came from the factory. Over a year later, it still looks great and new. Very happy with their services. Being a woman I sometimes feel I'll be taken advantage of when going in to any kind of shops where it's mostly men working. I didn't feel that way here. After spilling some watermelon juice, and letting it sit overnight (forgot my lunch bag in the back seat). I started looking for an upholstery place. I called Auto upholstery Needs, and spoke with James who advised me I might be able to get it covered through my insurance. No other place had informed me of that. When I came in for an estimate I was pleasantly surprised it would be cheaper than my deductible. Yay! I was able to avoid submitting a claim through my insurance. They had my seat done fairly quick. I hope I never spill anything inside my car again, but if I do I will definitely bring my car back to Auto upholstery Needs. Fair price, quick, and best of all. Incredible service. They redid the top on my 1998 328i BMW. First off, they had me order the top online. Why is this good? They had me do it, so there wasn't a mark up on the parts. Very few people will do this. Then, they had me ship it directly to them. They quoted me a flat rate on the phone and stuck to it. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning, and it was done by the end of business. They gave me good directions on what to do to let the top "settle in". After letting it get set, I noticed a small issue. I took it back to them, and they took care of it, no questions asked. Finding good people to do automotive work is really hard to do. I left a message over the weekend to ask about replacing the top on a convertible. I think it was James who called me first thing Monday morning with a reasonable quote. I called him back a few days later and asked a few questions. All were answered without any nonsense. I dropped off my car there with John who was not exactly full of joy upon first meeting. Quite snappy in responses and on the borderline of rude. But I got the sense that these guys are just no BS, straight to the business, and deliver the goods. My car was ready the next day as promised and the top looked fantastic. Not a hint of any damage anywhere and looking as good as new. Could not have asked for a better experience. Went by the shop on Wednesday and discussed upgrading the interior on my 2016 Ram 1500 to leather. James, the owner, went over my options and we decided on a leather kit from Katskin. He ordered the kit which came in Thursday. Good price. They seem to have younger workers so make sure to check all the handles and compartments to make sure they got all the screws put back in. I had to take my car back because some of the screwws did not make it back to their respective holes, but the manager took care of it promptly and apologized for the inconvienence. read more
