Disappointing Experience at the Dealership I wanted to…read moreexpress my disappointment with my visit to Mtn View Hyundai dealership, as I felt it was a waste of my time. I spoke with Lyn (a general manager) yesterday, I was very clear about the offers I had received from other dealerships on my vehicle. She assured me that she could significantly beat the offers that I had received. I specifically mentioned that I did not want to come in unless that was the case. She also stated that there was an interested buyer for my vehicle and that a deal could certainly be made for a new Elantra around the price point I was looking for. However, when I arrived, the offer presented to me was thousands of dollars less than what was discussed. My vehicle is like new and they did not have any negative remarks that would affect the price. Additionally, they tried to upsell me on the same Elantra that I was interested in. It was priced $2,000 higher than the online listing (excluding fees) and I was told that they were helping me out by not charging me $5,000 grand over list price. Lyn also assured me that the appraisal process would be quick, taking no more than 10 minutes, yet that was not the case (over an hour). Overall, the information I was provided was misleading and was a tactic simply to get me into the dealership. I had previously heard negative feedback about this location but wanted to give it a fair chance. Unfortunately, my experience reinforced those concerns, and as a result, I cannot recommend this dealership to others. That said, I do want to acknowledge the new sales associate who assisted me--he was professional and pleasant to work with, which was the one positive takeaway from my visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as transparency and honesty are essential in earning customer trust.

They put an engine in my semi truck twice! The first time, they were sent a bad engine so I had to…read moreget a second one. So that was 2 months of no income coming in. Then my second engine was great! But just a little before 6 months later, my transmission falls from the bell housing! And it fell because the bolts backed out, indicating that the bolts were not torqued fully or maybe even over torqued. I was near the St. Louis Peterbilt and those mechanics told me that north Georgia Peterbilt messed up when they reattached my transmission to my motor during the second installation of my engine. North Georgia did not own up to it and would not reimburse me or fix the bell housing and the components that broke. I had to sell my 2018 Peterbilt for $20,000.00 less than what it was worth and I lost my business due to their negligence!

When I first started using them, my Honda Pilot had 225k miles and they could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance when it came to mechanical knowledge; however, they never tried to oversell repairs or charge me for a quick mechanical check-up before a long trip like the shops in the past did. The pilot needed a few repairs over the years, but 'she' just hit 310k miles and is still going strong. I recently took my 'new' 2014 Honda there to replace a bulb and they only charged me for the part, no servicing fee. They answer calls and questions with so much patience. Even though they don't service international trucks here they tried to check it out for me; but it's an electrical issue, so it needs to go to international. They were super friendly and called a tow truck for me and let me wait in the drivers lounge. Even though they didn't get to fix the truck the service I received was great.
