I was introduced by my friend to see Oleg. Came in with the check engine signal on on my 2016 ford fusion. Oleg did the test and diagnosis, found out two error codes caused the engine light on. I had him replaced the battery, changed oil and then fixed one of those code since the other one disappeared after battery change. After a month, the engine light came back again, so I went to him to fix the other error code that came back again. I have to admit that I argued the diagnosis charge with Oleg, but he is indeed a very good and meticulous mechanician. He tested the car after the job, explained every detail to me and gave a list of suggestions for future maintenance. So far my car runs good and smooth. I started taking my car here after becoming frustrated with previous mechanics. Over the years, I've found many mechanics to be unwilling to explain to me why a certain piece of work needed to be performed on my car. They seemed interested in keeping their reasoning obscure; that way, maybe I wouldn't ask too many questions, and maybe they could get away with some dishonesty. The opposite is true with Oleg and his team. Each time I bring my car into Oleg's shop, he is very quickly able to explain to me what he thinks my car needs, why my car would need this piece of work, what I should expect from my car after the piece of work is performed, and more. I'm not a mechanic myself, so I don't have a great deal of technical knowledge on this. Oleg does, and he's got a great way of explaining it so that laypeople like myself can learn more. Even more importantly, he does great work. I've never left his shop feeling unsatisfied or ripped off. I never really took much pride in my car; it was simply a means to go from Point A to Point B. After going to Oleg, I actually started feeling interested in my car beyond its ability to get me to where I need to be. Oleg is a mechanic I trust and rely on. Couple things that separate him from other mechanics out there are: 1) he is transparent and honest, 2) he is very responsive, 3) he has a lot of patience to explain things to you, 4) his prices are reasonable. I have a 98 old card and I came up with items I wanted to fix (a lot of things). However, after explaining this to him, he came up with professional recommendations for things that I should fix and things that I shouldn't fix, which saved me a lot of money. During this process, he fixed a nasty vacuum leak, which if I take it to a dealer will easily cost me more than $2500. Unfortunately, my car's fuel injection line came off after driving my car a week. After telling him that, he not only apologized to me (might not even be his fault since he didn't touch it during the job), but also offered to fixed it for free plus replacing my instrument cluster's light bulbs as a complimentary gesture. All in all, a great guy to work with who has strong work ethic and honest. Cannot recommend him more. read more

Oleg is the most honest and sincere mechanic I have ever met in my live. He has being fixing and doing maintenance on my cars for years now. I tried others along the years but somehow every time there are at least "hiccups" along the way. I have experienced everything: from fake BMW ABS sensors replacement(which any BMW work is very expensive) to a simple fake air filter or motor oil replacement. Most mechanics out there would tell you all kinds of lies. They would charge easily hundreds for work they claim they did but, but, in fact, they never touched your car. This industry is so full of crooks that is disgusting. This guy is by far the most honest you'll ever find. He recently did a full transmission replacement for my truck. Regular price for a transmission from the dealer would be 4-6k, just the transmission alone. Add labor to that. However somehow he found a new transmission with 2k(not aftermarket, still from the dealer) and adding an oil pain gasket replacement and belt replacement, the total including parts and labor came up to a bit under 4k. OUTSTANDING!!! Hats down for this mechanic!!! Few days after the job was complete and the truck returned to me he called for a follow-up, to make sure the truck is running smoothly! I mean....how many mechanics in this entire world would actually do that?!! They usually don't know how to kick you out through the door faster after you paid for the service....or the pretend service.... Since I found him 3 or 4 years ago I never went to any other mechanic except for basic oil change... I live in Purcellville, VA. His shop is in Tyson's Corner but I would take the long drive all day, every day, instead of using someone else! Good job Oleg! Never change or take a a different rout ! Long story short, I have a 2013 Volkswagen GLI and had taken my car in to my regular service place at a vw dealership for a check engine light diagnostic. They wanted SO. MUCH.
